Insomnia Cookies

We tried coming here for a desert after dinner. Parking is near impossible, but it’s understandable. Once we got in the kid behind the register had money all over the counter and told us to come back in «5−10 minutes» as they were in the middle of a shift change. Great idea on a place but wasn’t a fan of the «help»…

Expensive cookies that are well worth it. Every student craves these cookies on campus.

I was in Bloomington-​Normal for a meeting and needed a sweet treat before getting on my train to return to St. Louis. Lucky for me, Insomnia was just a short walk from the train station.
As most Insomnia Cookie shops I have seen, it was small, compact and smelled of freshly baked cookies. I placed my order of; Chocolate Chunk, Peanut Butter Chip and White Chocolate Macadamia. I quickly placed my bag of treats into my messenger bag, so I wouldn’t start munching them immediately. My co-​worker who was also attending the meeting, ordered two brownies.
Once on board the train, I couldn’t wait to start enjoying my Insomnia Cookies. OMG, the Chocolate Chunk was so moist and gooey good. The chunks of chocolate melted on my fingers, making them finger licking good. Every child attending the Children’s Discovery Museum, which is practically next door, should stop by for one of the most amazing Peanut Butter Chip cookies I have ever had. Then my personal favorite, is the White Chocolate Macadamia cookie. It is sweet and salty all in one. Those who have nut allergies, I feel sorry for you. You are missing out on two amazing cookies.
This was my co-​workers first visit to Insomnia and the brownies totally blew him away. I am pretty confident he’ll be taking his wife and son to the St. Louis location very soon.

Best thing to happen to Normal IL in a long time. The deluxe cookies are my favorite, especially the smores one. My whole office loves them as well and we order them to be delivered some Fridays. Delicious warm cookies… what could be better?

Amazing service with Insomniac workers, although there isn’t a direct line to call back if something is to go wrong the help line is more than welling to refund you or get you double the cookies you ordered. The cookies are amazing, from s’mores to their double chocolate mint every cookie shows up warm and delicious. Their app allows for an amazing point bonuses and deliveries usually show up quicker than expected. I’ve gotten multiple people onto the Insomnia craze and everyone says that all their friends love them too, it’s a great thing to see the looks on my friends’ faces when I order a specialty combo of cookies delivered and all of sudden there’s a knock on the door with a box full of warm cookies and a bag of cold milk.

Rude and an extreme lack of caring for the customer. They have a call center that will not contact the local business if there are problems. I will never order again from this business as wouldn’t even meet minimum service levels. Very rarely would I actually be upset enough to post a negative review, but this the unicorn scenario.

I’ve been to Insomnia Cookies three times in the last two weeks, and have to say these are not just cookies, but some of the best cookies ever! I’m finding that I’m becoming quite addicted to both the chocolate chunk and the peanut butter chip cookies. Yum!
They are perfectly located right in uptown Normal… perfect for ISU students and anybody just happening to be in the area. While they offer delivery, which is an awesome service to offer, I’ve gotten mine pickup each time by using their app to order (another great feature). They’re also open until 3:00 a.m. I can’t say enough positive things about this place. Oh, and the service was great each time I’ve been there. Usually when places first open up, there’s a lot of kinks to work out, but Insomnia Cookies hasn’t displayed any of those opening kinks from what I have seen.
Bottom line, try this place! The prices are reasonable and the cookies are amazing!

Very delicious cookies. The s’mores is probably my favorite. And the double chocolate is good to. Really tasty but definitely overpriced.

This place is an awesome addition to Uptown Normal!
First, it could not be located in a better spot! It is right in the heart if ISU campus, next to the train/​bus station and right by the Children’s Discovery Museum!
Second, I find the concept to be a stellar idea. You want cookies? Have some! You don’t want to bake cookies? So don’t. Order them. I especially like how many options there are. Just call, head to the website, or of course download the app! Giving them a heads up let’s you skip the line which is nice since it seems to really be catching on. Why wouldn’t it?
Personally I ordered a Snickerdoodle, a White Chocolate Macadamia Nut and a Chocolate Chip. You can enjoy 3 different types of cookies without having 3 batches sitting around tempting you. Don’t worry, I shared! They have more than just cookies! They also have ice cream and ice cream sandwiches! It sounded really good but I just got the cookies.
So next time you get a cookie craving… Check them out. Grab some milk or add it to your order and enjoy cookies! Whether it is 12pm… Or 3 am… They will be hot and ready!
