They had everything I was looking for. I also tried their Rye Pale Ale kit and it was easy to follow and made an amazing ale.

Well-​worth the trip to this out-​of-​the-​way but much-​expanded new location! (It’s across the road from Swingers, if you need a reference point). More of a great thing is an even better thing.
The success of this shop lies in three things: 1) Deep and broad knowledge of brewing/​winemaking, 2) Passion for the craft of homebrewing & spreading that passion, and 3) Excellent customer service. If you know what you need and want, you’ll find it here, with no interference. If you need a little advice or to bounce ideas off an expert, you’ll find it here. And if you’re brand-​new, just starting out, and need a beginner’s kit and advice, you’ll find it here. I can’t say enough good things about this place — I probably wouldn’t have continued past my xmas present Mr. Beer kit if it weren’t for the Hop Shoppe!
