I have been here a couple times and the food is really quite good. Yes it is in the casino and I am NOT a fan of smoke but once you are in the casino, all bets are off. With that in mind, it is not really too smokey in the restaurant. I do wish they had a bathroom in the restaurant but aside that I really liked my experiences here. I’ve enjoyed(and posted photos) the Irish nachos(amazing), the smothered chicken(fair), the chicken and fish(and shrimp)(very good!), the shrimp appetizer(delicious) which I was a bit put off by the price($ 11 for 8 shrimp) but it was so good that I put that to the side(I highly recommend asking for more bread), I also had their sirloin which was a bit overcooked(when expecting it well done and asking for well done, one does not wish for a extra dry-tough steak, it just means«well done» lol), but maybe if asking for a medium plus you will get your sirloin done to perfection. I still did not have to use any sauce(which I never do for a GOOD steak) so that is a plus. And they have a limited selection of scotch which is my preferred choice if I decide to have a drink, being that it was New Years Eve, I did opt to. Service is decent-very good, depending on who serves you. I had one woman seat us and attend to us part of the dinner and another the latter part which made things a bit odd(I like to have some personal feel to who I am tipping, or else I may not tip at all if I feel like I am constantly being shoved off to the next available server), but for NYE my server was 1. Funny 2. Helpful 3. Available 4. Left me alone to enjoy my meal. Which for me = a happy customer and great experience. Would I come back again? YES! I feel that in the casino this place is 10x better than the buffet which is about $ 19 per person without any discounts. Overall my personal experience was 4 stars.

We read the reviews and hadn’t been inside the Riverwind Complex. We decided to go for a Sunday early dinner. Once inside, the whole place smelled like tobacco smoke and stale alcoholic drinks. We found the Pub and figured we would give it a try inspite of our first impression. It looks like a bad façade for a Disney version of what they perceive as a PUB. Service was inconsistent and they really didn’t have much information about what food they served there. We had fish and chips. Greasy and no real available craft beers or ciders for beverages. Dessert came with meal. It was a frozen, pre-packaged Sara Lee something that was not worth the calories. I hated the place and so did my husband. It’s like a Walmart version of a casino/restaurant. I would never go back, and wouldn’t recommend it either. One star for a warning.

Must have the chicken pot pie recipe! Seriously, it’s modeled after an english pub and their Shepherds Pie is very good but their best item has to be the Chicken Pot Pie. Not sure how they get that crust so fluffy and yeasty tasting but it’s Yummy!

Really good food! Great ambiance, wonderful beer selection. The service was slow but Brad the manager was great and made it right. Highly recommended this place

Service was slow — our food sat long enough to be barely warm before it came to our table. I ordered Fish and chips, for some reason the manager came to see about our issue, I didn’t even know there was an issue at that point. But once I looked at the food and tasted the crazy thin, dried out, shoe leather fish I asked if that was what the fish usually looked like. He assured me that each portion was weighed — somehow the second plate looked and tasted a lot better. We had chips and salsa as an appetizer — the chips were covered in grease and looked like we got the crumbs from the bottom of the bag. My 7 yr old had the mac n cheese. It was a tiny portion served in a soup cup without any kind of plate underneath. The kids meal(which only consisted of the small portion of mac n cheese) was $ 5 but a side of mac n cheese is only $ 4. I don’t really understand why we paid $ 1 more for no difference. My husband ordered the Shepard’s pie, they came back and said they were out. So he got the Chicken Pot Pie instead. It must have sat too long as well, it wasn’t hot. Our server had to be asked 3 times before she finally came with more drinks. She was getting ready to give us the check when I had to tell her our food had not been served yet. Really a disappointment.

Some very good dishes. Scotch Eggs are my favorite. Crispy breaded sausage covered hard-boiled eggs. There are no bathrooms inside the restaurant. You have to use the one around the corner, in the casino area. You can also eat your food at the Energy Bar. The bartenders will order at and have it delivered(Or used to). Been here several times, quality control is very good. Same quality every time.

Upscale fare/priced, in a ‘severely, Britisy-styles Pub Atmosphere. Inches from casino floor, little of the Casino sound intrudes! This would be a KITCHY — RICH waste of time were it not for an absolutely amazingly executed menu, and fine service! (I had the Crabcake with Ghost Chili sauce, I asked for a small sample more of this delicious sauce, both to separate the flavors from the sandwich AND too add more to the sandwich which then Elevated the sandwich to a sublime event! The Pub Chips are very street-Vendor style, with an ample serving, I almost hated having to choose, between the Malt vinegar and Ketchup options I had!) (Oh, Alright dammit! I ordered a 2nd order of ‘Chips’ to test the Malt Vinegar option… you Happy???)
