This is the only casino I ever win or break even at. We go a couple times and month and last month I WON $ 2500.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. Sums up all of my visits to «The Wind.» It’s an enormous homage to Oklahoma gambling and conveniently is located 10 min from my alma mater. Many of the good times spent were when they used to hand you a $ 10 bill on Guys Night which has since stopped. Several table games are available, but they are typically very busy and should open up more tables on busy nights. Overall, one of the best Oklahoma casinos available and worth a stop.

My husband and I drive just about 2 hours to stay Friday through Sunday at least once a month there. We really enjoy the slots and hotel. Just keep in mind, it is a casino, don’t play if you are to afraid to loss or you are a sore loser. On that note, the players cards do NOT work most the time in the machines or it takes so long trying to get it to work, that you just say the heck with it! As for the hotel the check-in for the hotel is VERYINCONVENIENT! You have to check in at the casino and then cross over to the hotel to basically recheck in! It makes NO since! Its the only casino that does it that way that I’m aware of. A real pain! We have ate at the Willow and the Chips-N-Ales both are pretty good places, just a little pricey for what you get. I’m not a big foodie person, however the Friday night special at Chips-N-Ales, the Surf and Turf special for $ 18.00 each is a REAL joke! Way over priced, I thought it was a sampler plate or appetizer! Anyhow the chicken, cod & shrimp trio for $ 15. Is excellent. Every casino has its flaws! Over all we really enjoy Riverwind and will continue visiting! Relax and Enjoy!

Very nice casino. Ate at the Willow Buffet before it closed so some items were missing. Good food and friendly staff. Had a good selection of slots and tables. The bar was reasonably priced and the staff, very friendly and quick. Plenty of Beverage stations. Will definitely visit again for to try the Restaurant on-site.

Totally love this casino… it lets you win alittle! We can go in there with $ 100 and play for a few hours. win some, loose some, but atleast you can play while and enjoy yourself … the buffet at Willows is excellent, any night you go. I would totally recommend trying them out! You will not be disappointed… everybody is friendly, there are lots of different machines to choose from and if you don’t want the buffett, there is quick food areas also. Just a really nice place to relax.

it’s nice to try different casinos because they have cool slot machines games. this place is comparable to winstar. i think any casino in Oklahoma can beat a casino in las vegas. Las vegas is so expensive that i would rather go to a casino in Oklahoma. the people in Oklahoma are nice whereas the people in vegas are not. i always get good customer service when i come here.

Clean and would recommend it to anyone that likes slots, poker, or keno. All the games I like are video table games; such as roulette. If I was there for slots I would probably give it a better rating.

Nice casino, we stopped here after outrunning some weather on our way back to DFW. Not a big crowd probably due to weather, but thankfully the buffet was open so we could get breakfast. Not a lot of food choices, but they have the basics and will make you eggs, omelets, and waffles, plus the usual fruit, cereal, biscuits, gravy and stuff on the side. Not over the top, but for $ 10, you can’t beat it. Hung around and played the slots for awhile, didn’t win, but didn’t lose much either. Place looks like it’s kept up real well. Carpet looked pretty new, and the whole place looked pretty clean. Plenty of people working to help you out if you need something, and other than the buffet there’s a sports bar, and several name brand fast food joints inside. Low service kinda place, but next to the gift shop there is a small area where you serve yourself soft drinks and coffee, seemed like a good idea to me.

I’m bumping up my ratings folks. I have been here numerous times and feel I have a real account of this casino. This place is pretty decent! I know a lot of people lose but some win real big. I have seen it. I still wait for the day of the«hand pay» but if you can take $ 100 to a casino, spend 4+ hours there and leave with more than you started with, you are doing good. And you can’t do that at every casino. Here you can. I have my favorite games as I am sure many do, but still have not won the BIGONE yet. One day hopefully. It is a really good casino and the buffet is decent too. All the staff who work here are all very pleasant. Ventilation has been a bit better over the last few times I have went but I still have to strip down and wash my clothes after I get home, and because of this, I limit what clothes I will wear there. Not exactly what I prefer to do, but I have to do! They also interact very well with folks on social media and updates are plentiful. Fun times! Good luck ;)

The Friday night buffet is expensive but worth every penny! The Prime Rib was incredible and the crab legs were very tasty! I spend more time at the cheesecake bar than the salad bar, but I can tell you both are pretty good as well. The line was the worst part and having to smell all the casino smoke while waiting to get into the food line. I still recommend it though. You can even drop some money in the slots while waiting! I would give a 5 if they had a way to wait for the food without being in the smoke of the Casino.

One of bigger Casinos in our area. Located just south of Norman. Can’t miss it on I-35. I enjoy the bar, bands when they have them on weekends, and though many complain about«smokiness», I don’t find this one anywhere near as bad as most casinos… say for example Newcastle, which is owned by the same tribe. Plenty of slots. My buddy seems to win on those here. I enjoy playing blackjack but since they apparently ALWAYS charge an ante, it’s a losing proposition overall. I just don’t think people understand how MUCH the ante hurts a normal blackjack player. While they have plenty of tables, with dealer shuffled shoes, they also have continuous shuffling machines. Stay away from those if you can. Given that they can deal so many more hands per hour with those than when dealer takes a break to shuffle, you will lose more money over all. Atmosphere usually lively when I have been there. Relatively easy to get in and out of. Bar is always fun to sit at. Generally I have found service people to be friendly and accommodating… not like the generally gruff folks in Vegas…(maybe I should say jaded?) Plenty of fast food/casual food outlets. High Limit Slot room. And plenty of beverage stations for self service non-alcoholic drinks. One of more modern casinos in area.

Typically the casinos are overcrowded and smokey. This was not the case with Riverwind. ATMs and Bill breaker machines were plenty and functional. The restrooms were clean. I didn’t eat at any of the restaurants but there were plenty to choose from. The beverage area was clean and stocked so I was able to grab a quick drink. Overall great visit and I will return.

B E W A R E of the smoke cloud at the door if you’re a non smoker. Sweet baby Jesus it swallows up your lungs whole. Phew. I could go on a rant just about that and the poor filtration in the building. Anyways on a clear night the beautiful, colorful lights draw you in like a moth to a light. They offer valet parking which isn’t available as readily during the day as the night which stinks some times. They have mounds of parking spaces and 2 entrances which is great on entertainment nights. This casino is better than Newcastle, Lucky, or the other ones besides WinStar. River wind is close to getting away when I don’t feel like driving to WinStar. The selection is decent & the drink prices are good also. Besides smelling like an ashtray after you leave, it’s a pretty cool casino for the metro area of OKC.

4 stars because I walked out with more than I went in with. Riverwind is pretty great. Its close enough to the metro and provides a classy gaming atmosphere. They generally have the newest games. Sometimes some of the smaller casinos will get them first, but Riverwind does have a good variety.

Having never visited a casino before, I made SURE to visit Riverwind before my trip was over. Even after the crazy tornado, people still came out the next day to have some fun. You only live once, right? ;) The place was easy to find, once I got the GPS set up right. Even at a distance, coming off the ramp, you could see the big flashing signs. Oh yeah, get excited! We walked in and it was a little confusing, so we just. waltzed right over to the slots. They boast of having over 2,700 machines of almost every kind imaginable. If you’ve heard of it, chances are, they’ve got it. There was a theme fit for every type of person you may be. I stuck to the car themed and the Alice in Wonderland ones. ;) Scored some extra cash, so I decided to quit while I was ahead. The others didn’t fare quite as well. One didn’t even really play, but instead headed to the all you can eat dinner buffet, which was BBQ priced at $ 15.99 that day. If you don’t want to spend as much money on food, there’s always the food court. When I was there, they had: Panda Express, Burger King, Taco Bueno, and Rick’s Café. From what I could see, the place was packed full of slot machines and not too much else. There were some tables for black jack and poker, but I think that’s it. I can’t tell you how many times I got ID’d while I was there. but hey, I guess it’s flattering that I look younger than 18 to so many staff members. Yup, this casino is 18+. Just FYI, in case you’re a n00b like I was, you can load a card and insert those into the machines, or you can put cash in. After you decide to stop playing, collect your winnings by pressing the button and out comes a «receipt» with a value on it. You can either take the«receipt» and cash it in, or you can insert it into another machine to play again.

Oh Riverwind… me likey. ;) So this is the 2nd casino I’ve ever been to in my 20 sum year old adult life. Nevertheless… it was pretty cool. I mean, come on! It’s in Oklahoma! I’m a city-girl! If you can entertain me, well that’s pretty damn good. My conservative $ 60 pot self was looking for easy stuff, like the slot machines. I found a good one I figured out how to play. I don’t remember the name of it but it’s by a round of ATM’s. My row had all ladies and we all were just having a good time tryin to hit the BONUS… LOL. I’m proud to say on that machine, I won $ 20 from one pick and I was pretty happy! That took about 2 hours to do though so don’t get too excited. I left with the same $ 60 plus $ 1! Yep, that’s right. I came up $ 1 more than I had. To me, that’s not bad! LOL!(I told u this was my 2nd time gamblin’!) Pretty typical crowd, older retirees. Nice older ladies though! They’ll chat with ya every now and then. Plenty of ATMs and ways to get more money. Also…haha…they make it quite a trip to find the«CASHOUT» stations… mmmhmmm. Didn’t fool me, GIMMEMYMONAY! Great experience. No creeps. Cigarette smoke smell isn’t too bad unless it’s coming from someone next to you. Eh, c’est la vie.

The side lounge was closed, perhaps because of how early in the evening it was. Not too much smoke thanks to the low population while we played penny slots. I feel like the machine-to-floorspace ratio is denser than at other casinos, to match the plentiful parking lot sprawled about outside. Free coffee is of acceptable quality, but the center bar pours don’t impress, and overall it isn’t particularly well-stocked.

One of my favorite casinos in OK. It’s big enough that you don’t feel like you’re rubbing elbows with your neighbor, but small enough to still know you’re in Oklahoma. I believe Riverwind is a relatively new casino in general but it’s nice to see the vibrant color changing lights from the highway when you drive by. They have a shuttle to drive you to the entrance if you park far away. And the shuttle has air conditioning so thank goodness for that. The casino itself has a really good mix of table games and slots. There are cashiers and self pay kiosks everywhere so that’s not a problem and it seems as though they do respond to the lights if you turn them on for attendant assistance. Riverwind is a nice way to pass the time. The slots are hit and miss most nights but I usually break even when I leave, which for me is a good thing. My friend always walks out up. I guess I bring her good luck. Lucky hussy! They usually have pretty good live music and«showstoppers», well for a casino, ya know? I’ve never eaten there so I can’t comment. But there’s a friggin’ Sonic right across the street. So… BAM…Done! Love me some Sonic!
