UPDATE: Shortly after posting my previous review, I was contacted by the owner of Crooked Crust, Kelly. She went above and beyond to make things right, refunded my order, and sent a gift card! Additionally, she made changes to make sure my experience doesn’t happen to anyone else again. I was very satisfied with her response and can’t wait to use the gift card for some amazing pizza! Thanks, Kelly!

The pizza is my favorite in Norman and every time I have eaten there the staff is very friendly and the food is really good. I get the thin crust that may be all they have. I do not know but the pizza i get with the thin crust is good. I took some friends there and they were amazed at the pizza. No atmosphere just good pizza. Cold beers too.

The pizza here is probably one of the best tasting pizzas I’ve had. The crust was crispy(which is something my fiancé and i like and look for.) the marinara sauce is delicious as well. It may seem like a hole in the wall kind of place but its definitely worth trying out.

The building may be small but the flavor is HUGE! And who can complain about prices? Not me! The portion sizes are huge and the refills are free! Crooked crust is definitely the best place to eat pizza if you’re in Norman and looking to split a pizza with a bunch of friends. Plus, the names of the specialties pizzas are adorable!

Amazing! Best quality for the price for sure. The workers are very helpful when asking about possible allergens, etc. The food is always delicious and hot, and definitely affordable. I love how they don’t charge you for extra vegetables and meats. We love this place!

Started with the cheese bread sticks, very good. Ordered a large pepperoni, it came out extremely quick. The quality is very good considering how cheap the prices are and how quick the food comes out.

I’ve found my official second favorite pizza joint in Norman(behind Sandro’s). And, it’s a very close second, this place is that good. I had lunch at Crooked Crust on a Friday. Campus Corner was, as it usually is around lunch time when school is in session, packed. But, Crooked Crust had no line, with only about 3 tables seated. This is a crime, because this place has very good pizza for a very good price. You get a quarter of a 16 inch pizza, or 2 slices, plus a fountain drink for $ 7. Tax included, so no fumbling for correct change. You can get a half pizza and 2 drinks for $ 12, or a whole pie with no drinks for $ 16. Great value here. That’s not even the best part. The best part is you can get any topping you want for no additional charge. You can go from cheese to every topping they’ve got for the same price. Keep in mind, the pizza is thin crust, so if you get 12 toppings you are going to weigh the crust down significantly. But, this is a fantastic deal. I went with a quarter of a Mean Green, which comes with pesto, chicken, and artichokes. I decided to lay off the additional toppings, I wanted to see what Crooked Crust was capable of so I went with their recipe. And, it was fantastic. First of all, it doesn’t come out immediately, which I like. They let it sit in the oven, and the cheesy edges became caramelized. Second, the crust is CRISPY and crunchy. It’s very thin, thinner than NY style pizza you can get at NY Pizza or Sandro’s. It held up to the toppings very well, no fork needed. And, there are plenty of toppings. I think I got almost every ingredient in every bite, which is unusual for pizza. The cheese is good quality, and you can actually taste it. And, they come out piping hot, no hot on the edges and cold in the middle pizza here. I absolutely will get this pizza again. I already can’t wait to return and try other pies. The staff was very friendly and the place was clean. Hopefully this spot is in Campus Corner for many years.

A great slice for a great price. A great $ 7 lunch special that is two large slices and a drink. Good service and friendly people. I had the meat pizza and it was cooked perfectly. I recommend stopping by.

The Mean Green pizza is one of my absolute favorite pizzas out there. I was so happy to hear they were coming up from Denton, since I’m from there.

Can you say, «cheese»? On a thin crust pizza, with chew. I was really happy with how cheesy our pizzas were, and I liked that they were made to order, rather than sitting under a heat lamp for however long(shudder). This means you wait for your pizza, and when it comes out, it is invariably too hot to eat immediately. So give yourself a few minutes to relax and let your pizza cool before scalding the delicate tissue in your mouth.(I’m sparing you a picture of the inside of my mouth, even though I’m tempted to take one out of curiosity as to the damage there. Lesson learned.) Before ordering, take a look at the menu pricing. It makes much more economical sense to order larger pieces of the pie. Buying half(rather than a quarter) will save you $ 2; buying the whole pizza will save you $ 8, if you factor in the same amount of drinks as with the quarter of a pie deal. So strategizing with your crew can make lunch a heck of a lot cheaper!(Yet another lesson learned.) As a math enthusiast, I would enjoy working here and noting who gets the most for their money :). As a mom in a rush, I was too hasty, and afterwards, a little ashamed of myself. Geez.(Side note– might be a good place to take a kid struggling with fractions! Let ‘em sort it all out.) We tasted three pies. 1) the White, which is perfect for kids, offering a trifecta of white cheese and no red sauce. I was impressed! 2) the Mean Green, which was a chicken(the chicken was moist and very good), pesto, cheesy slice. Very greasy, but that wasn’t surprising given how much oil is used in pesto. The cheesiness almost outdid the White! 3) the Lu-Wow, an homage to Hawaiian, with Canadian bacon and pineapple. It was also very good, but there were additional spices sprinkled on top with a little too heavy a hand. Not quite as cheesy as the other two slices. We were very happy with our pizza, and the wall art gave us the chance to laugh. My daughter is mildly obsessed with all things Mona Lisa, so she flipped for the«Mona Cheesa» mural. Clever!

Awesome pizza! Got the BBQ Chicken and their Hawaiian! It was so good. My roommate thinks it is the best pizza she has ever had in her life! Very quick and made to order! Yum!

This was a great late night stop while I was in Norman. PIzza is usual college study food. The service was quick and very helpful. Definitely stop in for a slice.

Loved it. This place has some of the best pizza I had in a good minute. I made my own spinach, artichoke, and Canadian bacon and just got a ¼, I should have got more. It’s a thinner crust but not a cracker crust. Enjoy!

FYI: I didn’t write this review. My account may have been compromised. I have never eaten here… I live in another state. However, this looks like a place I would try if I where in the area ;) Ordered pizza here based on the good reviews and cute name, but was horribly disappointed. The crust was as hard as shoe leather and it was so salty I almost gagged. We did get a white pizza, so maybe the pizzas with sauce would taste better, but we will not be going back.

The pizza was nice and hot as opposed to other places I’ve been to. I had the boomer buffalo chicken with alfredo sauce and it was phenomenal. Definitely recommend a stop and have a slice.

Options for delivery to east Norman are scarce, so I was excited to discover Crooked Crust could deliver to my house. I’ve never been inside the actual restaurant on campus corner, so my review may be incomplete, but I thought the pizza was great. The delivery time was pretty good and the pizza came hot. We ordered half pepperoni and jalapeño, half mediterranean. Both were good. The crust is thin and crispy. They definitely pay extra attention to seasoning their pizzas. It wasn’t greasy either. I will definitely order again whenever I want pizza delivered and hopefully I’ll be able to make it in to the restaurant on campus corner sometime too.

The gluten free crust is perfect. The ingredients are fresh. And the price is reasonable. They’re going to know me by name soon!

A group of us occupied a table of around 10 people. We all ordered at the same time and got our pizzas in a timely manner. I made my own pizza with ricotta cheese, spinach, mushrooms, and bacon with red sauce. The pizza was savory and the crust was crispy. Abour $ 10 and some change for a half pizza and two drinks with unlimited refills– pretty good price. I’d come back

I was hoping this place was going to be good. Well I was disappointed. Went there on a game night so that might have been part of the problem. The place was packed with no place to set. We took it to go at that point. The pizza was mediocre at best. The bread sticks not so good either. I would compare the pizza to that of a place that you go for fun and they happen to have pizza so you eat some, but it was never the actual reason you went there. Well this place has no games, or rides, or putt putt golf… just pizza. Glad I went on a groupon instead of paying full price. Needless to say I won’t be back and I will be surprised if this place is still there this time next year.
