I was visiting from San Diego and looking for a place to take my daughter for dinner. I really wanted BBQ. Rib Crib was in a convenient location and my daughter recommended it. I was a bit hesitant to eat there after reading the other reviews, however, I found Rib Crib to be a great experience. My server had a wonderful attitude and the food was great. I ordered the all-you-can-eat ribs. I’m a pretty small eater but it came with all-you-can-eat sides as well and I could not make up my mind as to which ones I wanted. I ended up getting the St. Louis Ribs which were seasoned just right. I did add a bit of BBQ sauce for dipping… yum! The sides I ordered were the salad(which had these crunchy tortilla strips on top that were full of flavor) and the fried okra. I only ate 4 ribs but I ate two orders of the okra. All in all I enjoyed my experience at Rib Crib in Norman.

I ordered chicken and ribs combo with Mac and cheese and beans. Got home with the chicken and ribs but they forgot to give me my sides. This is why I quit eating at fast food places years ago. It is so irritating to pay for something I don’t get. When I called them, they said I would get a free meal and a dessert next time I eat there. I won’t be going back. It is so basic to give people all their meal. It wasn’t young kids working there. I thought the ribs and chicken were very mediocre at best. I seldom write bad reviews for anything but am quick to give compliments. Sorry for the exception.

It is really hit and miss here. Sometimes the food is top notch, sometimes just awful. But it is close to my house and has a drive thru.

Someone please tell me how a seasoned bbq snob such as myself falls for an all you can eat rib ad. Sigh but after a week of being sick inside and seeing not stop commercials I was brain washed. I convinced myself out won’t be that bad. You see three stars and think it can’t be that bad. WRONG. This was a two star meal with 4 to 5 start service. Of course I had the all you can eat ribs. Sigh over cooked, gray and if you don’t want to over sauce everything you won’t even want the bland tasting meat on your mouth. The side are just average at best. Sides get 3 stars at best. The high light of the meal was the service. From coming in the door to leaving. Great staff and service the only redeeming thing about this meal. One last note to myself: DON’T FALLFORTHEALLYOUCANEATRIBSTHINGAGAIN.

Not bad but hated the way they give you the bill, ring up your credit card for the total, then give you the slip back to add the tip but don’t ring your card up again. Tips are«divided out» at the end of the shift as I was told. I didn’t get that because I have no idea how the tip would be added to my credit card. Seems really fishy so I’ll have to watch my card in the coming days. All you can eat ribs were good but the Super Spud I had was cold. That’s not unusual as every Rib Crib I’ve ever eaten at in OKC, Norman, Tulsa — all around Oklahoma, really — always has a cold Super Spud.

Stopped in today for lunch. This is one cozy little spot to eat. It is located next to Hollywood theatre so this is a perfect place to get a meal before the movie. I was delighted to see they have a drive-thru for those on the go. The tv’s had football on so that was nice. I wasn’t terribly hungry so just got the cribwich sandwich with seasoned fries. The sandwich has hot link and sliced brisket. The sandwich was a little dry so had to add bbq sauce to make it taste right. Also I did not care for the bun it was on. However, the seasoned fries were to die for! Honestly, these might have been the best seasoned fries I have ever had. The efficiency of the waiter and those fries kept me from giving it an average rating of 3 stars.

Great service tonight. Chopped brisket was good and blackberry cobbler for dessert was even better. Next time you are craving some barbeque, check out Rib Crib!

When did the Rib Crib go so downhill? I enjoyed eating their food when I did some work in Tulsa a few years back, but being back in the area, I noticed they have popped up everywhere. That should have been my first clue it wasn’t going to be good. The ribs were ok, but flavorless and adding the sauce added some flavor, but the sauce was only ok. I also had the beans and potato salad and I didn’t eat very much of either of those dishes as they were almost inedible. I will keep my memories of what the Rib Crib used to be, not the crap they are churning out now.

The BBQ chicken sandwich was tender and tasty. I will eat here again.

I ate at the rib crib in moore and had a pleasant experience with their all you can eat ribs so I decided to try a location closer to me. This location does not have beer on tap and has a limited selection of bottled beer. They do have a good all you can eat and happy hour though. The ribs that are on all you can eat special are the St. Louis style ribs and the ones I received had quite a bit of fat on them. Otherwise the meal was great and I’ll probably come back for a regular meal since I can’t eat enough ribs to take advantage of the all you can eat special.

Just ate here tonight and I actually thought it was pretty good. My waitress recommended me to have the crib catch combo and it was deeeelish!
