This is my neighborhood nail salon and I have always gotten good service and have only recently gotten the instant dry no-chip manicure with a design and I always feel like a millions bucks when I leave!

Went to get a no chip mani and pedi today and will never ever go back they give you a pedi with no soap and rush through it … $ 50.00 down the drain they did not match my polish with the no chip mani with my pedi. Place is disgusting and there work is sloppy and fast. Sorry I live close but not the wasting money here again. Do not go here… First time and Very Disappointed feel like I was robbed.

I just had my nails done there and am very disappointed with the person that did my no-chip manicure. Very quick and sloppy work. She obviously does not care what and how she does it. The tips of my nails aren’t smooth at all! I need to smooth them down before I get dressed cause I’ll ruin my clothes. The polish near the skin is messy and uneven. WHAT A WASTEOFMYTIMEANDMONEY! And she told me not to use lotion on the nails or cuticles — huh?

Closest nail salon to my work. Fast, efficient and friendly. The place isn’t the nicest and they don’t have a huge variety of colors … But you’re in and out with great results . Mani /pedi $ 30. Great deal!

The lady owner of this place basically hates having customers. My sisters and I came here — I wanted a no chip manicure, my sisters both wanted mani/pedis. They told us that they didn’t have time to do both a mani/pedi and they could just do one pedicure. I understand we didn’t have appointments, but I have never been turned away for service. She did my no chip in about 10 minutes, and gave an attitude the entire time. Never coming back here again.

For what I need, this place serves my puposes and I’m in and out. Nothing fancy but good, fast, thorough work. I have gone wtice now for no chip manicure and both times they did a grat job and took less than 45 minutes.

I get the fake acrylics and at other salons they are peeling off within five days. I have had them done twice here and they last well over 6 weeks which is a miracle for me. The girl did some amazing designs on them the last time I was there. Absolutely love the service here.

I’ve gotten acrylics/manis/pedis here before. It’s a decent neighborhood nail salon considering the one a couple blocks away is TERRIBLE. There’s usually 2 people always working here. An older male and a middle aged female. The female has a little attitude if you get picky with your requests but the guy is super nice. They have a younger family member who’s about 9 years old that helps around the salon. The place is very clean and spacious and it’s almost always empty with the exception of 2 or 3 customers. What turned me off about this place was that they charged me 25 dollars for a pedicure!!! Also, the woman gave me a two minute massage with loose plastic gloves on that made it really uncomfortable for me. Like come on for that kind of service I can go somewhere in the city to get a MANIANDPEDI for 20 – 25 $ I try to avoid this place. It’s my emergency, last minute spot.

Been here several times and the service just keeps getting worse. Manicure was useless, terrible job, old polish, never dried. The only person who does a good job here is the man. Brought my daughter and the woman who did her mani-pedi, did her in about 10 minutes for a total manicure and pedicure, did not trim or clean under the nails or massage or anything. And she’s rude. Not worth the money. They were pretty good a few years ago but now I will not go back. They lost a good customer in me. So disappointed.

This place was really great. I got a spa mani/pedi. They had a large selection of opi nail polish to choose from. The guy who did my pedicure gave me the best foot/leg massage for just a pedicure, and he gave me a real good quality scrub down to exfoliate the bottom of my feet… Definitely not superficial like at most salons. His massage had really good pressure and very slow. It was awesome. They have good quality spa chairs, and they appear to be very hygienic. I was staying at a hotel nearby and took a cab over, and when they saw me waiting for a cab after they closed they even offered me a ride home! Super nice and friendly staff. If you live in the area you definitely need to come!

So, I took a week-long siesta in Mexico in the beginning October. It was mid-80’s and sunny everyday. I drank margaritas and ate nachos and fell asleep by the pool. :Looks outside office window: I was a fool to leave. ANYWAY, prior to my trip, I made a pit-stop into Sunny nails. I used to go here in high school when I thought acrylic nails made me appear older and more exotic. Maybe if I saved that money I could Have taken a longer siesta… if ONLY I could have a chat with my 16 year-old self. Ok, enough heartache on my part. So, I go back to Sunny’s for the first time in 10 years. EVERYTHING is different. No, not really. They’ve installed directv and LCD TVs. They exchanged their normal pedicure chairs for some beautiful, «massage me all over» chairs. They updated their nail polish. The rest, however, is pretty much the same. How comforting. The reason I am all but hitting you over the head with my vacation time-line, is to inform you that, here we are, 2 months later and you can still see the slightest bit of my «In a New York Minute» polish. yeah, OK, maybe I shouldn’t have told you – It’s a bit gross… Well, too late; It is all in the name of an honest review. It just goes to show you that a good pedicure keeps going and going and… That baby stayed put through many nail trimmings and baths and winter shoe wars on the tootsies. Now, that is a great pedicure. The staff is welcoming and accommodating. They bring you magazines. They ask if you want to change the channel. They inquire whether they are scrubbing too hard(NEVER). They refuse to let you leave until your nails are as dry as my winter skin… man I miss Mexico… 25 bucks. Great shade selection. Good brow wax as well. Plenty of parking. My favorite nail salon on the Northwest side – 10 years ago and today.

Went here on a whim after hitting up Chase bank next door. I got a mani/pedi for $ 30. What a steal! Here are my ratings: 4 stars — Pedicure. The lady that works there did the pedicure. She did a fantastic job! The polish lasted a good 2 weeks and never chipped. She spent a good amount of time on the heels of my feet and gave a great leg massage followed w/warm towels. 2 stars — Manicure. The younger man(around 19) was laying on the front couch in the waiting area before he started the manicure. Maybe he was a bit drowsy or something because first of all he finished the painting in about 10 seconds for both hands. The polish was really uneven and bubbled quite a bit. i was really disappointed. I highly recommend this place for a pedicure, ask for the lady, she’s great!
