First thing you must know IF you want to shop at this store is to check the expiration date on food items. That’s why a lot of their things are reduced, and it’s not reduced a whole heck of a lot to begin with. Second, if you return something after three months, even if you have your receipt, be prepared for the store to give you HALF of what you paid for the item, even if it’s store credit you get half. I don’t know about you but in my book that translates into stealing from the customer. In writing to Corporate, to express my dissatisfaction, all I received was an email saying they would contact the store and bring it to the manager’s attention, but offered no resolution to its customer. Never will I shop at any Big Lot again!

It’s like if target and the dollar store had a child. There are some very nice furniture pieces in there, admittedly cheap, can’t comment on quality. They have a lot of things you’d pay more for elsewhere. For example, a MIO water flavoring system is $ 1.50 opposed to $ 3.99 at shoprite across the street. Toothpaste is cheaper, deodorant is cheaper. There aren’t many employees but they seemed somewhat helpful. There are certainly name brands in there. Seriously, don’t go somewhere else to get something that is considerably cheaper there. Outdoor table with 2 chair set $ 79. That is $ 50 – 100 less than everywhere else in the area. –J
