Old navy always is great for a last minute tshirt when you’re on the way somewhere and realize your dog has drooled all over me. However, they seemed just a little under prepared for the sale they were promoting. With twenty people in line with their arms full, and just two cashiers, I decided the dog drool was fine to wear to the party.

Stopped in to purchase sunglasses for vacation since the last pair I had, the screw fell out. While in line to check out, I saw they sell Mad Libs! I haven’t seen these in years! Woo! Go Old Navy!

they«remodeled» the store and now it sucks. it’s about half the size it used to be — maybe they will reopen at the original size? don’t know, but now they have NOTHING in stock. on the good hand, staff is usually friendly, at least at the registers. if you need help on the floor, you will have to go searching for it.

If you’re looking for cheap functional clothes, Old Navy is probably the store for you. They have lots of $ 5 tanks/tees, 2 for $ 5 flip-flops in tons of colors, and $ 15 shorts and dresses. My purpose on this day was to find a replacement for the black tank Tom loves to wear; it’s been worn so much, the one side is literally hanging on by threads. Since I found out it came from Old Navy, I decided to surprise him with a new one when I go back to Reading to see him tomorrow. I found that the replacement tank I sought was a mere $ 5, and the employee was more than happy to point out where they were and helped me find the size I was looking for. They turned out not to have it, so I bought the next size up since the medium wasn’t much bigger than the small. They do get a star off for register lines though. They had two registers open but the lines had more than 8 people with full bags in each. The cashier that rung me out did apologize for the wait though. So if cheap, no frills, and functional is your thing, definitely check out Old Navy!
