Gross! They need to clean that place. Seriously. I don’t understand how people still go there. By far one of the most nastiest McDonald’s I’ve been too. It’s not even the city for it to be dirty.

Got a breakfast platter. Small orange juice cups were not filled and I didn’t get ice. What a disappointment!

Worst food prep and service ever. The employees would rather talk on their phones then work. There is no pride or sense of managerial presence at this store. Best to eat elsewhere.

I was wrong when I said the McDonald’s in Abington was the worst ever. It’s not. This one is. This place is a cesspool and should be nuked from orbit. If you like hobos and drug dealers and employees who are complete trash than absolutely this is your place. Rather than go to this McDonald’s, I recommend you lick a toilet seat, throw your wallet in the trash and pistol whip yourself in the head and save yourself some time.

I’m gonna have to agree with Raequel S on all points here… it’s such a shame that this McDonald’s sitting in the heart of Norristown is so terribly different than the one just down the road in King of Prussia. We got drive-through once or twice if we were hungry and it was on the way, notoriously slow and the sandwiches are even 30 – 40 cents more than our«regular» McD’s on Henderson Rd. Well, one time when were nearby and I was pregnant and hungry, I made my husband stop there and we decided to go in. Seriously, I will never eat there ever again. It was like a circus. First, there were 2 adolescent boys skateboarding and goofing off and pretty much blocking one side entrance without regard for anybody or for customers to get in and out. They were loudly cursing, apparently just for the fun of it. Once we made it in, we waited in line behind someone who was getting like 20 burgers, and apparently this was way above the level of the employees, as they kept screwing it up just trying to count and get them in the bag. The employees had long fingernails and giant gold hoops, not to mention, and crazy ghetto hair that just looked like it was going to conveniently fall in your food. The floor was very visibly dirty. 3 kids were running circles around tables while their ghetto parents sat and talked and ignored them. When it finally came time to order, which was normal, not even asking for anything standard to be changed, just a meal and a sandwich, the girl had to call someone over and get help, it was ridiculous. I had already had more than enough at this point but I was starving. We had to wait for the sandwich so she said to sit down. We sat at the cleanest looking table, which still had crumbs on it, and I immediately decided we’d be taking it to go. It was totally foul in there. It was also hard to ignore the fact that two of the employees behind the counter were having a loud conversation with someone seated in the restaurant area by shouting across the store. Unbelievable. I’m not entirely sure how they pass any health inspection or any kind of visit from corporate McDonald’s. To top it all off, we watched more than one table of people get up and walk out without clearing the trash, which IMO is completely ignorant.

i call this place — Ghetto Ass Mickey D’s why? well… to start you can count on the employees to give you ghettofabulous customer service. and while being served a few years ago by a young man working there with very manicured two inch long nails complete with rhinestones and multi-colored nail polish was amusing — its not even the most outrageous thing that has happened there. it shares bathroom facilities with the BP gas/quick stop store sharing the building and good god those bathrooms are atrocious and me thinks they hired one of the né’er do wells hanging out around Norris Beer and Deli(emphasis on the beer) to paint the doors and trimmings of the stalls — it is the cheapest paint of the whorish colors they could find and you can still read the graffiti on them. you can expect to be panhandled on occasion, you can expect flies buzzing around the soda machine, you can expect to WAIT for your order cause the employees are too busy gossiping about each other and talking to their friends cause god forbid if YOU don’t have other places to be! you can expect their registers to be down or not take credit cards. you can expect to have someone’s unsupervised brats to be running underfoot. the worst time to be there is early morning… notoriously slow and for people who might have a bus or train to catch nearby, this is not good at all! it wasnt always that bad, the one worker that did do her job and got people their McBreakfast out on pace, was a lovely woman. who unfortunately passed away due to complications of pnuemonia a few years ago. of course being there late at night before they close the restaurant is no treat either(i should say that this place is 24 hours, but only drive through after the inside facilities close and no they wont serve you without a car — unless you are a crackhead who regularly panhandles and they like you.) one of the most infuriating experiences i had there was one Saturday evening a few years ago, a friend and i went to mickey d’s to have cups of hot tea and chat before going to our respective homes. it was a downer time for each of us and we just wanted some respite from shitty life situations. first of all they looked at us like we were nuts because we ordered hot TEA as opposed to the coffee most people get… its on the menu and its frickin TEA… so that took a minute for them to get for us. then we sat down and had what was a good chat until… some asshole who’d wandered in and could smell the alcohol on his breath before he spoke started bothering us for money so he could visit the Beer Deli i mentioned before… he wouldn’t take no for an answer(shit, we were drinking cheap ass tea, if we could afford beer we wouldn’t have been there!) and then when he knew he wasn’t getting anything out of us started hustling some of the employees cleaning the tables off. but what should i expect from mcdonalds? of course i still go in there, but only because the other fast food places nearby are bad or worse. however, there is a big statue of good Ol Ronald McDonald sitting crosslegged and in a casual pose on one of the benches — its a good prank photo op for either sitting in his lap or any other goofy poses you can think of.
