Denny’s

I came out of work late, had a terrible day, and no other places were open. Maybe it was my tie, vest and newly polished shoes but I was sat down with half a greeting, «Hi, here we are.» Cold greeting from the start. The place was nearly empty. I ordered a cheeseburger, fries, and coffee. My order taker walked away without asking how I wanted my burger cooked. I wasn’t angry or anything. I’m very patient. My order taker didn’t write down my order and re-​asked me three times how/​what I wanted in my order. I asked to be moved to another table because the couple behind me were arguing making me feel uncomfortable. They moved me, no problem. My burger was bland, cooked to shredded bits of gray matter reminiscent of a sci-​fi movie I saw a week ago on tv where a big alien blob, slowly after being shot by a laser beam, turned into ashes. It tasted like fat and comic book paper. My fries looked like crinkled old lady fingers recently hacked at a suspicious butcher shop, and tasted like nothing. Texture-​wise, had I shook my plate my fries would have fell off the table like yellow Lego pieces. I was half-​way through my meal and wanted to leave. My waiter, who never checked on me once, asked how my food was. I had my hand on my head and said in a somewhat raspy voice. actually, I think I just let out a sigh and made
my way to the register. I still tipped him. Yes.I.did. The coffee was excellent.

Oh Denny’s. Who doesn’t love a moons over my hammy once in a while. Or the bird bird bird the super birds the word. Denny’s food is always great at night after a night of having some beverages of choice. I also really dig the different 2, 4, 6, and 8 dollar specials that they have. You can’t beat unlimited pancakes for 4 bucks. I mean get your eat on for syrup sakes. If your looking for a late night place with good food and service you definitely need to stop in here and have some tasty items off their menu.
The staff here is always nice and friendly. They also do a great job with keeping the restaurant clean. Another pet peeve of mine is making sure I have like 50 refills of water cause I drink like I’m finding nemo. They do an excellent job with it. Look no farther than your local Denny’s next time you want to get your eat on.

The waitress was very unresponsive. She forget meals for my friends who accompanied me to the restaurant to celebrate the leaving of one my friends enlisting in the navy. We had to ask another waitress I believe her name was Kara for stuff that she forgot. Also it seemed like the manager was on the phone up front and my friends and I were having a conversation and she yelled at us very disrespectfully. The food was good but these workers are terrible! I would not recommend going.

In other news… it’s a Denny’s.
Friendly, clean, and not too likely for a stabbin’. They’ve kept the mozzarella stick grilled cheese sandwich on the secret menu — so come for that and stay for the pancakes.
If you are in the mood for some Denny’s, you haven’t picked a bad location.

Denny’s is Denny’s. I wanted to rate this one because it is a million times better than the one out by Fox Valley. Have I been in there sober? No. But I do remember thinking to myself how much more enjoyable it was than when I used to go to Fox Valley.

The Denny’s in North Aurora is a very good place to eat. Wether you go for breakfast, lunch or dinner. So far, the food has always been hot & tasty. A good place that doesn’t break your wallet! The only thing, they could use a few more waitresses & or waiters!

Denny’s is my absolute favorite and the North Aurora location is the best by far. I’ve been going here for years and years, and even though I live in Naperville and the Denny’s over by Fox Valley is closer, I still make the commute out here. It’s always clean and the service is outstanding. The employees that work here are the nicest people I’ve ever met and provide better service than most higher end restaurants I’ve been to.
The food is great and always fresh. I’ve never had an issue. I always get the sampler platter with buffalo chicken strips, quesadillas, and mozzarella sticks. So unhealthy and fattening, but so delicious. I especially love it because the other day my husband and I went here at 8AM and they still let me order the sampler platter! Where else am I gonna get buffalo chicken strips at 8 in the morning?! So awesome. The prices are great and they are open 24 hours, 7 days a week. What more can you ask for?

Me and my roommate moved to Aurora 2 years ago and this is the first place we called our own lil favorite late night restaurant. We often go late at night and our server Malinda always treats us with a great warm smile and hug with our usual drinks. I couldn’t ask for more from a restaurant.

Me & my brother went to Denny’s for the first time, the food was really good the staff is really nice they help us find a table real fast, we love the place.

They hired Jose from the fledgling Bolingbrook location… that says it all!

I love this Denny’s! It’s so cheap but it’s a great place. The last time I went we had Rob as a server. He was the best! We didn’t have to ask for anything he was so attentive! Will be coming back!

They have ROACHES!!! It walked right on to my table and needless to say I up chucked the meal I had just ate. The inside is as rundown as the outside. Eat at your risk.

I was pleasantly surprised that the food was very good. The staff was friendly and they always have some kind of coupon somewhere! I get them from the back of my Jewel Osco receipts, I’ll continue to go here after the coupons stop just as well.

This is the place to go after a movie out at Tinseltown in Aurora, IL. My hubby and I usually get hungry from a late night movie after work, so we hit Denny’s right after.
I enjoy their seasoned fries, their NACHOS! and the wings aren’t so bad. I like the cordon bleu chicken sandwich. I enjoy the slam burger also!
I like the service and food, the people are usually friendly, we go at least once every other week.

It’s okay, you know, another Denny’s. Pretty clean. Surprisingly busy at 3:30am with people that don’t appear to be drunk. Mostly I’m posting this to confirm that it’s a ²⁴⁄₇ joint and that’s the biggest reason I’ll probably be back at some point.

Hey, it’s a Denny’s. This is where you go for some unhealthy afterhours snackage.
It was clean, our server was super nice, and most importantly, there was no «Denny’s Trash» at this location! HOORAY!!!
I am definitely A-​OK with this Denny’s.

This Denny’s is actually pretty good. It sure the heck beats the IHOP off of Orchard but not even close to Harner’s, but if you want a good, inexpensive breakfast this place is hard to beat. Honestly, my wife and I have 3 kids and it’s cheaper to go here than it is at a McDonalds. The food is always good, the service is great and the place is start to look really nice since they remodeled. I am satified with this location, I like it and for a good, quick breakfast it’s right on the money.
