Went to Denny’s for lunch today. The place was hopping. We were seated within a few minutes, and the waitress came right over. We had excellent service, and the food was fresh and hot and came out the way we ordered it. Our waitress was very attentive even though she was busy, and brought us our check immediately when we asked. The cashier became busy as we were going to pay, and behold, another person came to help ring people up. Kudos for keeping up with the crowd.

This is a straight forward breakfast, service is always great, prices are sooooo cheap! We like to come her for an affordable breakfast when we don’t feel like cooking. The place gets pretty packed so wait times can get crazy. We always bypass the wait and just sit at the bar.

They get 5 stars Bc compared to other food places in their category, it tastes good, it’s super quick, the service is great and it’s consistent ! You can’t ask for more then this for 6 $ a person ! They also always get the substitutions correct

I got there around 6 am it was my party of 2 and there was another couple as well the service was terrible roughly 3 waitresses were on it took around 3 minutes for one of them to get to our table. When the food we ordered came out it was cold the sausage was watery as well as the eggs. The prices aren’t bad however for your typical dinner. Haven’t been back since.

Nice bang for your buck. Ideally it is just diner food but they have nice specials and the burgers aren’t bad. The French toast is like regular toast barely any cinnamon and I’m not a pancake person so to me they aren’t the greatest.

Denny’s is a great meal any time of day or night. For the appetizer we had the loaded fries which definitely are not worth it as its a small portion, equal to less then ½ mcdonalds order of fries. They were good, but to split between 3 people was a poor choice, it was barely a portion for 1. I had the Harvest Skillet with an extra Applewood Sausage, and the Pumpkin Pecan Pancakes, and they were all excellent. We also ordered the Chicken Avocado Salad which she always loves. And my friend ordered a plate of hash browns, the a breakfast sandwich with bacon, eggs and cheese with homefries, and the pumpkin pecan pancakes which he must have enjoyed enough to finish the whole thing. The staff was friendly, though when it came to paying had quite the problems splitting the check in 3. You’d think with how they break down checks on the bill it would be simple, but took about 15 minutes for the store manager to get right.

I went here in the morning for Breakfast. The service was bad and so was the food. I ordered egg whites, turkey bacon, mash potatoes, and chocolate chip pancakes. First of all the egg whites were oily. Next the Turkey Bacon was to hard to chew. The mash potatoes tastes like you just gave me butter. And finally the chocolate chip pancakes taste like sugar and ONLY sugar.

I ordered Takeout, Im a restaurant manager so I figured Id check out the local Dennys. There was nobody there except me. So as someone in the industry, there’s no reason for any mistakes to be made. Ordered a Sriracha Burger w/the sriracha sauce on the side and a side of ranch for the fries w/a Cheesecake for Desert. It came out to 15 dollars. I gave the nice lady up front a 20 dollar bill and said keep the change. Mind you, this is take out so when you got a 5 dollar tip for a low-maintenance customer like me whose not sitting down at a table, you should want to make sure my food came with everything. Because as a waitress if I tipped you 33% for take out then you would want me to come back because I usually tip 50−60% for table service. I get my food, the gentleman who brought it out says everythings there and proceeds to list the entire order for me, so I was impressed. I drive 20 minutes and get home so I can eat, and I find out they didnt put the sriracha sauce on the side, there was no Ranch for my fries, and they FORGOTTHECHEESECAKE I ORDEREDFORDESERT. I paid 20 bucks for takeout that was completely wrong so I called them nicely and asked them if they could just note down the receipt number so that I could get the cheesecake I paid for the next time I drive by. The guy on the phone said that it’s not possible unless I come down now to get it because he or the waitress who made the mistake might not be there. I just said forget it and don’t worry. Figured Id let you know that if you come here, the burger tasted like cardboard and they’ll forget half the things you asked for. Never coming here again especially since I tipped the waitress and she didn’t even check her only customer’s order.

Good coffee. Sub par IHOP type. It’s bad when they say the bathrooms are out of service! Ugh

Surprise how good the food is with how cheap Denny’s is. I got a giant waffle with eggs, hash-brown, and bacon that hit the spot. The waiter was great taking care of his all his table while staying attentive to the customers. I also enjoyed there coffee definitely a nice touch to a wonderful meal hopefully my next visit is just as good!

This was my first time here and i had always heard great things about the food and that the menu was reasonable and affordable. Our waitress Nicole was training and trailing another server Miriam. Both were super nice and helpful. The food was delish and the check was under 25 $. Great first impression!

No wonder prices are so cheap the food here is horrible. I got all you can eat pancakes with eggs and bacon and it was just terrible. The staff was just as awful they was never around and with how empty the place was we could have just walked out. This place definitely needs an upgrade or it’s going to drive this store to the ground.

No complaints at all. We had a very satisfying breakfast with the whole family and everyone was happy and stuffed. The service was fast and friendly and the food exceeded our expectations. I ordered two eggs with biscuits and sausage gravy served with hash browns for only four dollars! The restaurant was very clean but a little small compared to your typical Denny’s restaurant. They don’t seem to have enough room to accommodate large groups. They have about 8 booths that fit six people and the rest of the tables are smaller for about 4 people max. I’d much rather eat at Denny’s than the overpriced/mediocre diners in Deer Park and Commack. The only reason why I didn’t give five stars is because the waitress automatically added onions and peppers to the hash browns for an extra fee without asking. I also wish they let us know(on the menu) that you get a free breakfast if it is your birthday.

Good was good but very bad customer service. I waited on line to give my name just to have the girl look behind me and take customers names that walked in after me. I felt invisible. When she did get around to me, she only asked how many seats and never asked my name. I wasn’t sure I would ever get seated. Finally after my wait to be seated, I placed my order. Of course my beverage was the first thing I placed an order on. My breakfast came and no one ever brought my beverage. Never came to check on me or ask if I needed anything. Never even given a glass of water. Horrible service.

Went for a late night Dinner. I really dont trust Denny’s with anything but breakfast. The place was empty as i got there around 9:30pm on a Wednesday. Since it was late and dead i figure i will get my food fast and go home. Boy was i wrong. I got my food after 10pm. Really slow service. I ordered the lumberjack and was satisfield with the food. So if the service was better this review could of had 4 stars. I will try again during the day and see if the service picks up.

How the heck do you screw up a Denny’s?! I’ve been to a couple of these throughout the country and they are FAR better than this monstrosity. This place is total garbage from the front of the house to the back. My wife and I came here for breakfast one day, forsaking our delicious Bacon Egg and Cheese bagels from Wally’s next door(BADMOVE.) We proceeded to wait with a large group of people for over 30 minutes when there were a multitude of open and available tables throughout the restaurant. Not sure what that is all about except horrible mismanagement. The hostess was pretty rude as well in trying to deal with the customers who for all accounts seemed to be waiting for no reason. When we were finally seated it took almost 15 minutes for a waitress to enquire about what we would want to drink. At least the waitress was friendly and accomodating. We finally ordered our food, and we waited, and waited, and waited. What came out was barely passable as breakfast. Eggs were overcooked, my skillet scramble was more potato than anything else with a smattering of 5 – 10 individual shreds of cheese. Coffee was also weak and flavorless. Like it hadn’t brewed for long enough. How do you mess up COFFEE?! Even a gas station can get coffee right! For the love of god, stay away. Just go to Wally’s next door and get bagel sandwiches. Thank me later.

I’ve been telling people on Long Island for years that Denny’s could compete(at least for breakfast) with any good diner on Long Island. Unfortunately, the new Denny’s in North Babylon is IMO below the chains standards. Unless things change this Denny’s cannot & will not be able to compete with the good diners in the area. The sad part is this is the taste Long Island is getting of Denny’s those who aren’t familiar with the chain probably think«Denny’s» is a subpar diner. The service was great, the food not so much… There are a lot of of diners and ihops on Long Island but Denny’s are new. I’m a big fan of Denny’s so I was pretty excited to see this Denny’s coming to the plaza across from Sunset Plaza on Deer Park Ave. Like I said there are many diners & ihops on the island especially diners so to say we came from 15 minutes away is a big deal. My mother & I were passing this place on our way to do some Christmas shopping, passed a lot of favorites but were excited to stop at the new Denny’s because we’re Denny’s fans. We wished we stopped at one of our other favorite breakfast places instead. It seemed like it took extra long for our food to come out compared to other Denny’s or breakfast places. Our eggs were cold when we got them(we were sitting near the counter and heard others complaining about cold food even all we didn’t say anything). Also, the funny part for me was they couldn’t seem to keep up with toasting, my toast came out after my food and I heard the wait staff telling other tables their toast or muffins«would be out in a min» when bringing the food. I don’t think toast coming out with the meal is something that makes or breaks a place but who can’t keep up with toast? And now that I think about it I’ve never gotten breakfast anywhere in the country where the toast hasn’t come out with the meal.
