North Bend doesn’t have very good options for dining out. This establishment is no exception. Hideous Chinese food. Safeway Chinese next door is believe it or not… better.

When I think of Chinese food this place is what im talking about! The food is ALWAYS amazingly yummy and is probably the best Chinese food ive ever had. My partner and I have come here every week for the past 6 months since moving to North Bend and are always happy. The second time here we were greeted by name, the staff here is just soo friendly. I dont think I can say enough great things about this little restaurant. Food, staff and prices are just perfect!

We’ve been coming here since about 1997. Consistently excellent! Best Chinese food I have had outside of Taiwan. Everything is worth ordering, but I am partial to the orange chicken.

This place is AMAZING! Great food, phenomenal service, good prices, what more could one ask for?! We recently moved to the area and saw this place while grocery shopping so popped in to get some take out and decided to sit down and dine. We have been back several times since, and will continue to go back with every Chinese Food craving! The service is always impeccable(I was even greeted by name on my 2nd visit), the food is delicious, fresh, and everything you want when you crave Chinese food. Whether you dine in or take out the experience is always great! Good job Yum Yang keep up the great work, see you soon!

Stopped by here before going to the Premium Outlets and was pleasantly surprised. The waitress we had was awesome. Very attentive, filled waters and tea pot when it was running low, and checked on us several times. Definitely more than we expected! Cream Cheese wontons were pretty good, but a little pricey(about the same as our lunch entrée), and the hot and sour soup was top notch. For our lunch entrees we got General Tso’s chicken which had a pretty thick and delicious sauce to go with the large deep fried chicken, which made it seem more traditional and home style than the chain restaurant named after a fast bamboo eating black and white bear. Also went with the Kung Pao chicken which had great flavor too with plenty of peanuts, water chestnuts and zucchini to go with the chicken. Overall, couldn’t have asked for anything more and was honestly expecting a lot less. We’ll be back for lunch every time we go to the Outlets. See you again in a few months!

So good! We had the veggie fried rice and fried tofu in black bean sauce. It was amazing. Also those thick hand made noodles were so good! We will be going back. So much better than the place on the ridge!

Combo dinner. Deep fried prawns and egg roll were plain. The sizzling rice soup outstanding. The happy family was surprising because it was loaded with black mushrooms. The orange chicken was pungent, the strong flavor overwhelming but addictively sweet. The fried rice was American style heavy in soy sauce. Still we got a good value for the money. Others seem to think so too because it is still packed at 8:00pm.

The worst Chinese food I’ve had in 10 years. I have never written a restaurant review because, honestly, I don’t like to take the time. But this place was so bad I had to try my best to warn others who are looking for good Chinese food. Came here with my family. With all of the good reviews it seemed like a no brainier. First, the service was very slow. With only 4 tables in the restaurant occupied we waited 20 mins for the server to come to our table to greet us and take our order. She was chatting with the regulars, which is awesome, if people aren’t waiting to order. My wife is asian so I’ve had my fair share of Chinese food. This place was honestly the worst Chinese food that I’ve had in as long as I remember. The chicken was rubbery and tasted very bland and the fried rice was more bland than Panda Express, and I won’t eat at Panda Express. The food honestly reminded me of some of the worst food-court Chinese that I’ve ever had at any mall. To top it off, my daughter and I have been having stomach pains after leaving there over an hour ago. Hoping it’s not food poisoning. Honestly we are blessed with 2 – 3 good Chinese restaurants in Issaquah. We won’t make the mistake of going back to North Bend. I did write a note to our server explaining how much of a disappointment the food was. I figured it would be good for them to know.

We looked on Unilocal for some place in North Bend. Family friendly and the waitress was nice. I’ve had better Chinese in Seattle though.

The name say’s it all, I like to come out here with my mom. When she visits her friend. The Chinese food here is great! Friendly service, kinda quiet, close to Safeway. The food was hot temp wise, if you want spice get the Mongolian Beef. I like the Orange Chicken. With Hot &Sour Soup, the Spring rolls were the hot item. The kitchen was very smokey, and the food was very good. So if you come out east this way, this is a nice place for a lunch or dinner break. Good lunch prices too.

Great Chinese food in North Bend. The staff is very friendly and have started to recognize us from the times we have been there. The food comes out quickly whether you dine there or get take out, even on busy nights. The food is really good and they have several options for everyone’s taste. I highly recommend the chow mein with the homemade noodles. We have tried a few different dishes and we have not been disappointed yet. They have a great lunch specials. You get an entrée, rice(steamed or fried) or chow mein, and soup all for a reasonable price and you get a lot of food. I usually turn it into two meals; lunch and dinner.

Who knew you’d find decent Chinese food in North Bend… We stopped in for dinner on the long drive to Spokane on Friday night. They were busy, but had a couple of tables open. Food was tasty and plentiful. We got the Kung Pao beef and spicy pork with vegetables. The peanuts in the Kung Pao were nice and crunchy, not soggy like you get in some places. The sauces for both dishes were slightly spicy, with some depth in flavor was was good but surprising. Service was outstanding– friendly, prompt, and attentive. Location is easy proximity to highway.

Great Mongolian Beef! Yummy Hot & Sour soup. Very prompt & friendly service!!! The restaurant is not easy to see from the main streets in North Bend, but it is well worth the find.

We stopped here for dinner toward the start of a long drive. We had an impatient 2 year old. They took 15 minutes just to take our order, and then our food still hadn’t arrived after 45 minutes. I asked how much longer, and she said another 15 minutes. We left.

Great lunch special here! Came in after a day of skiing with a bug appetite and boy did this place deliver. The lunch menu is a simple affair — choice of steamed rice/fried rice/noodles, hot and sour/corn and egg soup, and a main dish. The dishes all cost around $ 9 and were the typical white-chinese style. I had the corn soup and orange chicken based on previous reviews and was very satisfied with my meal. The orange wasn’t sickly sweet like a lot of places and was fresh enough that the chicken had a little bit of crunch to it. The serving size was also generous, with a big ball of rice and a large pile of meat(think like Seattle teryaki size). The service was on the slow side despite being one of only two groups in the place, however I expect that from places like this. You come for the food, not the experience.

This was my 2nd time here and the food was still delicious. If you love spicy soup, I highly suggest the house special soup w/hand shaven noodles. Very generous portions. The brown fried rice loaded w/fresh vegetables was amazing. I look forward coming hear again. Oh and the service was excellent. The waitress and staff was extremely accomodating. I forgot to ask the hubby how the curry chicken was… left the plate empty :) Guess he liked it. Saw a post giving this place 1 star… must not be used to «real» Chinese food.
