Really disappointing food. We went a couple of weeks ago thinking they would have great meatballs. Went for lunch and we were the only customers. Ordering is a little confusing because the menu has a lot of options and you need to choose one from here and one from there. The counter waitress was very patient and pleasant. We thought the Teresa’s combo meatballs would have pork and beef combined, but the waitress explained it’s just a seasoning mix. Good things we had: The pork meatballs were pretty good. The pink spicy sauce is good. It’s not that spicy, but it’s super-rich. Tastes like lots of cream is involved. The salad was good and fresh, but the dressing was direct from a bottle of Wish-Bone. Not-great things we had: The beef meatballs(not the Teresa’s combo ones) were bland and had a spongy texture. The regular tomato sauce, watery and flavorless. Bad things we had: The rice balls, yuck. And note that«risotto» on the menu is not risotto. It’s a bowl of overcooked rice.

The service was quick. The waitress was very sweet and attentive. I ordered the Balls and Broccoli. I really couldn’t taste the garlic. It was edible but the meatballs could have been more seasoned. It was a bit bland. Portions are good. Didnt know we couldnt use both groupon and Unilocal coupon but they were very kind to let us use it. I would eat there again.

Went last week, and had veggie Meatballs with pink sauce and mozzarella with spaghetti and a side of broccoli and it was AMAZING. My experience dining in was overall great, it’s a cute restaurant with a unique menu. I love that they offer veggie and chicken balls because I don’t eat beef or pork anymore and neither does my boyfriend who I ate here with. The pink spicy sauce which is kinda like a vodka sauce had a rich creamy flavor that made the dish to die for! Although I do wish it was a bit spicier but that’s just me I like spicy food. The veggie balls were DELICIOUS! It was full of flavor and had a creamy thick texture which tasted almost like a humus paste but I’m pretty sure it’s made with mushroom. The broccoli was the best broccoli I’ve ever had because it had a savory grilled flavor that was just perfect! It wasn’t too buttery or smothered with garlic or tasted microwaved like some places serve it. it was perfection! It took a bit long to get our food but I don’t care because perfection takes time and it was certainly worth the wait. The portions were huge, we had intentions of ordering a lava cake but couldn’t even finish our spaghetti. I already have in mind what I want to order next time, I’m so excited! I went here with a Groupon deal of $ 12 for $ 20 worth of food, I’m a student and so is my boyfriend, so we jump on deals for date nights. I love this restaurant and I’m definitely coming back!

I definitely would NOT recommend this establishment to anyone unless A) you have no other options or B) you plan on going in to dine with them opposed to delivery. I just ordered food for delivery from them and it took over an hour to come(I live 15 minutes from there). The expected time of delivery was 6:34PM — 6:44PM and it came a little after 7:00. Second, these«famous meatballs and sauce» of their’s really tasted worse than frozen meatballs and jar sauce. I can tell from looking and tasting these tasteless meatballs that they were frozen… no seasoning or made of anything other than beef. Most of the«meatball sub» consisted of sauce and bread… there were not merely enough meatballs to even cover the length of the sandwich. Third, the most disappointing part of this awful meal was the«truffle mac and cheese». This mac and cheese tasted worse than any boxed mac and cheese and there was absolutely not an ounce of truffle in there. Do yourself a favor and do not waste your money. No wonder why they have deals with so many sights on the internet… from Groupon deals to Unilocal bucks.

$ 2 dollars for a can of soda?! That’s a bit too much considering my order was to go. I ask for my sauce to be put on the side instead of the sandwich because I don’t want it to get soggy and they bang you over the head with an extra charge of $ 2 dollars?! Will not be considering this place too much for my eating out option!

Just finished taking my family here for an afternoon early dinner. Used the Unilocal deal so I save 5 bucks(that’s always good) Food was pretty darn good and tasty. The ambiance was interesting and the food tasted fresh. Everything was perfect except my daughter wasn’t crazy about the mac and cheese she ordered. I would come back.

Complete garbage. I don’t even know where to start. Placed an order through grub hub for delivery. Took over 2 hours and the meatballs were MIA on my pizza fritta. The phone girl tells me they are really busy with orders, not my problem. Staff your employees accordingly. !!!

My boyfriend and I are always looking for the next place to order out. Needless to say we often end up disappointed. But that was not the case with Jersey Meatball Company. From the service we received ordering over the phone(my boyfriend spoke to Craig) to the quality of the food, to the delivery time, everything was refreshingly satisfying. We ordered a Juicy Joe for myself, my boyfriend had the lasagna balls, and we had an order of rice balls and of course lava cake for dessert(I’m pregnant so that part was important for me). Everything was amazing, it all tasted freshly made with that touch of a mother’s homemade cooking. My favorite I would have to say were the rice balls. I will definitely be ordering from here again. Thanks for a great first experience!

No this place can never get our order right. It took almost 1 hour for our order and the food was cold. The order was wrong and they did not include any sauce with the rice balls or meatball sandwiches. We had to wait another 45 minutes for them to bring us the right food. I will never order from here again.

Ordered 2 meals for delivery… left Chicken out of the Chicken Alfredo, forgot bread & requested parmesan cheese. Reordered Chicken Alfredo, forgot cheese again… food was great, though. Hence 3 stars… they need to better check delivery orders.

I had them cater my company luncheon. The biggest keys I look for in good catering is punctuality, good communication and great food. JM Co delivered on all three. I put in my order with Craig who was great and really expedited the ordering process. Their driver Ray was also a class act. Onto the food, the meatballs were the main attraction and everybody liked them a lot(well except for one but he’s got a picky palate). We had all four types of meatball heroes: turkey, beef, pork and veggie. The bread was just right, not too hard or soggy from the sauce. However the scene stealer had to be the lava cakes. Everybody was falling over themselves to grab a piece. Good thing I had to foresight to halve them otherwise my coworkers might’ve turned into an hangry mob ready to finish me. Anyway, final verdict — I shall cater from here again! Or at the very least convince my boy Craig to deliver to Hoboken!

This place has the real housewives of nj Teresa Guidice’s recipe for her blended balls and sauce. They have a picture that is covered of TERESA and her daughter I think her daughter,(we took a quick peak while no one was looking.) and i guess they are waiting for Teresa to be released from jail but not sure to unveil the picture. They also have a sandwich I think named after Teresa and Joe its called Juicy Joe. I didnt try them. The place was small but cozy and the paint and wood was very inviting. There were i think about 6 tables that sit 4 and they were right on top of one another. When my daughter sat down a gentleman was sitting behind her and she accidentally hit him with her chair. They also have an area that sits about 8 or maybe 10. I tried their lasagna balls. The lasagna balls it had pappardella pasta with tomato sauce, ricotta cheese, mozzarella it was really really good but i was not crazy about the meatballs. They were just ok. My son had the Italian balls it had pork balls sautéed with cherry peppers, onions, mushroom in a vinegar garlic and oil sauce served with penne pasta. His was very very good as well but again the meatballs were just ok. My daughter just had spaghetti and meatballs and my husband had risotto also very good and pork balls. When he cut into the balls each one was a different color so i dont believe they were all pork. My son also had their rice balls and said that was good. Then after all that my daughter also had the lava cake. She said it was good. The pasta and sauce were good but the meatballs were very bland and might have been frozen. They were all the same size and the texture was weird. Would go back for everything else but their meatballs. I might try it again and maybe I will try Teresa blended meatballs maybe they will be better. But the sad thing is the restaurant is known for their meatballs and everything was good except for the meatballs. They should change this name to the Jersey Pasta Co. Instead.

Garlicky! I love that. Don’t be shy. OK! they have an actual Vegetarian option ONTHEMENU!(dedicated) I didn’t have to explain this… broccoli! check veggie meatballs! check garlic! check! pasta! … pink sauce… marinara! … Everything I’ve had here is really good, price is a lil high, but do-able. Now, if they can make a veg friendly rice ball! hello to that. I heard this might have to do with the Jersey housewife lady, finally a reason to appreciated HWONJ. Ok, I might watch it a little. :)

This review is strictly for delivery. Delivery was literally 15 minutes– I’m what? I ordered their rice balls and the Italian pasta. The rice balls were freaking amazing and out of this world! Crunchy on the outside, soft and delicious on the inside. The tomato sauce was the best I ever had! Pasta was filling and the meatballs were delicious. Enough to fill me and my hubby up! Would order again when craving Italian! Which is all the time. Will definitely come visit this place soon as I live a few blocks away. GETTHERICEBALLS’

I stopped by yesterday with some friends for a late lunch. I’d heard about it from a friend and saw some reviews on Unilocal and wanted to try it out. 1. Almost every menu item offers 3 balls — in the hero sandwiches, the pasta dishes, etc. They offer a variety of meatballs — traditional(Linda’s), beef, pork, chicken, and vegetarian. My husband and I split a hero sandwich with Linda’s meatballs, Linda’s red sauce and provolone cheese($ 8). The bread was perfectly crisp on the outside but soft on the inside. It held up very well to the size of the 3 meatballs(racquet ball-sized). The sauce was delicious and the cheese was hot and melted. Linda’s meatball’s had some good seasoning and melded well with all the other ingredients. A little more sauce would have been nice but that’s just personal preference. Very good overall! We also ordered the rice balls($ 7 for 3) with the spicy pink sauce(not spicy at all but still good). The rice balls were okay, but I’ve definitely had much better elsewhere. My friends ordered some different dishes and were generally satisfied. Some found the vegetarian meatball so-so and others liked it because it reminded them of stuffing. The pesto was oilier than expected and a creamy-type of pesto would have been preferred since it was being used as a dip for the naked balls. We also had some leftovers, which my husband re-heated in the toaster over, and everything reheated very well. The bread was crisp on the outside and soft inside. 2. The employees were super helpful and explained the menu to us since this was our first time at the restaurant. They checked on us twice to be sure that we had everything that we needed. They even let us swap sauces when we saw how good the spicy pink sauce looked. When the check came, there was some confusion since we had expected separate checks, but they were willing to work with us.($ 2 off if you check in; $ 10 for $ 15 worth of food and drink with the Unilocal coupon) 3. This place is clean and welcoming. They have several tables that can accommodate 4 people, a long high-top table with stools for a larger group, and a 4-top table in the back with a leaf that can seat an additional 3 people. There was a tv on in the back playing a Spanish broadcast of a soccer game but it wasn’t distracting. Definitely stick with the meatballs since the rice balls were very mediocre. They have a decent selection of drinks including Mexican Coke, Sprite, and orange Fanta. They also offer delivery and takeout!

They have tons of meatball and sauce options. Sandwiches, pastas, and just meatballs(3 for $ 7). I never knew something as simple as a meatball could be so versatile as a meal! They have chicken, and even veggie meatballs. Pesto sauce and spicy sauce too! In addition, they have a decent chocolate lava cake, that would be even better if they offered it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I ended up buying some ice cream at another store to go with their cake, haha. Great concept with the use of meatballs, and you know you are in New Jersey when you are eating meatballs! :D

I have heard about this place quite a few times from friends in the area over the last few months, then after hearing both my mom and aunt mention it I figured it was time to finally go check it out. It is a very casual and inexpensive place. Checking in on Unilocal gives you $ 2’s off your meal… woohoo! The men working here are very nice and are open to suggesting what to try on their menu. My boyfriend got one of the ballsy plates($ 10.00) which comes with penne. He decided to try the Italian Balls which is pork balls sautéed with cherry peppers, onions, mushroom in a garlic and oil sauce. I decided to get one of the balls and sauce specials($ 7.00) and opted to get it over linguini($ 4.00). I wound up choosing the beef meatball in a green pesto salsa sauce. Both meals were absolutely delicious and filling. They were both filled with garlic cloves which I absolutely love! That should keep the vampires away for awhile. For dessert we decided to get the peanut butter lava cake which perfectly satisfied my sweet tooth. It was great and I’m not even a fan of peanut butter. However, no ice cream was served with it which is a bummer for any fan of lava cake. The man serving us wound up giving it to us on the house which was very nice of him. The only downside is that they do not serve beer or liquor here and their beverage choices are very limited. I must say, they do sell the old coca-cola bottles which is just awesome! On the menu they also have vegan options and other food options for those who are not in the mood for meatballs. I wound like to go back and try their pizza because I heard great things about it. Overall, I left as a very happy customer and will definitely be back again in the near future!

*Vegetarian friendly!* «Meatballs» for vegetarians did you say? Yes, come here! I tried the Veggie meatball hero for $ 7 with the Pink Sauce. The balls themselves could have been cooked a little more – maybe baked or fried, BUT they were tasty and BIG! The hero itself looks about 6 inches and small — but dont let that fool you – you will be stuffed. Theres 4 large balls snuggled into a big bun. Toasted bun too. Wtih a lil bit o cheese and sauce. The pink sauce is really good – creamy and great flavor-personally i would have liked it a bit thicker(story of my life) but i enjoyed it. The Polenta for $ 4 is a very generous portion but tasted store bought. Not a fan at all. Clean & very friendly staff. Would i come back? Maybe. There isnt much more i can try here, but who knows. Its deff worth a shot.
