I had a great meal here! It’s hard to eat out at chains as a vegan but Maria was so nice and helpful she helped me customize a salad and went above and beyond. We will definitely be back!

Wow this 99 stays busy! I had a gift card for here so while staying the weekend with my boyfriend we decided to grab some take out. I went in at around 1pm and the placed was literally packed, like there wasn’t even any standing room. The hostess seemed overwhelmed by the amount of people coming in and it took her a while to come back with my order. They were probably under staffed because there was just 1 girl taking care of seating everyone and dealing with phone orders. Anyway, the food was great… we got fish n chips and it was really fresh. The potato skins were delicious as well. For a chain restaurant we were pleased.

I frequent many 99’s and was in the area so I stopped here to get my favorite buffalo wings on a Friday night. The service was absolutely horrible. The bartender was incredibly rude to me, and not attentive at all. She was very busy talking to the other bartenders rather than refilling my drink. I waited and waited trying to get her attention so I could pay by bill.
I won’t be returning to this location.

Considering this is known as a steak place, we were highly disappointed in the prime rib dinner (special on Friday) and the sirloin tips… lobster roll was good and chowder was very good. I have been to many 99’s and this was one of the worst meals I have ever had… service was excellent and they tried to make the prime rib right…

I had the 12-​oz sirloin with salad and baked potato, she had the fried seafood platter. Both were very good

Ugh! We’ve been to a lot of 99s and this one was the worst.
They never served our appetizers and they served someone else’s meal two different times. When they did serve the food we ordered, everything was cold.
It may have just been a bad night for a good restaurant, but we will not be giving them another chance.

My husband and I ate here last night after a busy day of shopping. It was not too crowded as it was still early, just before 5. Our server was very nice but I thought the food was just so-​so and, this being my second time at a 99, I would not eat here again. For an appetizer we had the boneless buffalo wings. They were drenched in sauce, and a bit salty. My impression was that they were frozen chicken fingers heated up in the sauce. The ranch dressing (for a dip) was bland. Not really that good at all. For my entrée I ordered a simple chicken Ceasar salad, which was long on lettuce and short on slightly undercooked, unseasoned chicken. There was WAY too much dressing on it as well. Although I usually ask for dressing on the side, I don’t generally do this with a Ceasar as it’s often just lightly dressed. My mistake. My husband’s steak and mashed potatoes were ‘ok’ according to him, but we don’t think it was the 9 ounces it was advertised to be on the menu. There are many choices along this route in North Conway so I’d try something else before I went here. There was a manager (I think) on the premises, and he, or someone! should be overseeing the quality of the food coming out of the kitchen. I expect more when I am spending money to eat out.

This place sits on busy Route 16 in North Conway and on July 4^th the last thing you want to do with kids is putz around looking for a place to eat. Hence why we ended up here since we had not been to one of these since 2003 as we don’t like chain type restaurants. The place gets pretty crowded on nights like this and the hostess station looked like chaos with 5 hostesses standing around not having a clue. In fact when we came in they were asking each other what to do and had no idea where to seat people.
The wait was not bad and you can sit outside and wait which is nice. Once seated you get to choose from an assortment of just everything from salads to pasta to sandwiches to entrees of steak or seafood. It was like they couldnt make up their mind what to put on the menu so they just through everything on there. The service was friendly and somewhat fast, kids food came out first etc. Everything was okay, food is what it is, tasteless, no seasoning, just not great of course. Up until the end I would of given this place three stars except our server disappeared and we couldnt find her to get the bill. Then when we did find her I just handed her the card and it took another 15 minutes to find her again. No idea what was going on. It was such a mess I had to flag the manager down to find her. Never again even with kids would I eat at one of these restaurants. the food and the service arent worth the headaches!

I got mozzerella sticks as an appetizer which were so good as they always are. I got the chicken tenders for my meal and they were kind of dry so it was whaterver I guess.

Nothing to complain about… typical bar food. Steak was Ok (not best or worst), lobster roll was Ok (not best or worst)…it was good, but I’ve had better (and worse). LOL
Service was great, waitress was friendly… beers were cold. So, hey… it works for what it is.

Diane was our waitress and she was wonderful! Food good. Not over the top but balsamic salmon was good, beef tips good too. Family restaurant that serves popcorn as appetizer! Nice restaurant, we would come back. Try it!

A decent option for dinner if you are on a budget and don’t want to resort to DQ or Friendly’s. Even though, we were told it would be a 25 minute wait for a party of 5, we were seated in 10 minutes. They have several $ 9.99 entrees specials on their menu, but looks appealing to me since I want seafood. I ordered the Baked Salmon ($ 12) with grilled asparagus, grilled tomato, & broccoli. For an extra $ 3, you can get the 3 course combo which includes a soup and a small piece of dessert. I had the seafood chowder and the key lime pie. I should also give a shout out to our awesome waiter Jason who was very courteous and funny. He even offered to give us separate checks even though we forgot to ask. Thanks Jason.

We sat at the bar to avoid the 25 minute wait for a table and had a good experience. The fixed bar stools were very cushy and bartenders were friendly and attentive. The Chicken Dijon was very tasty. They also had several TV’s tuned to the Sox and Bruins games with a couple dozen people following closely. It was a fun atmosphere for the evening.

My boyfriend and I had the worst experience at the 99 in North Conway, NH. There was a lady Rhonda working and I have never been treated so rudely. This was over a year ago and I still havent forgotten it. Actually it has prevented me from ever visiting another 99. She never greeted us and ignored us for about 10 minutes. She basically threw our food at us and overcharged us and never apologized. I complained and they did send me something but I never got a phonecall apologizing. The hostess told me she has had many complaints but has been there a long time. I hope she is fired by now. It was my boyfriends birthday but it basically ruined our mood.

My husband and I ate here with his parents when we first pulled into North Conway on our Fall 08 Foliage Tour. My husband and I had eaten at the 99 in Manchester, so we knew this would be a place his parent’s would enjoy.
This 99 is smaller and the service was slightly lacked. The food choices were the same and we still got a good quantity of food for a reasonable price. I enjoyed the food and service more at the Manchester location.
I had a fish dish for lunch here and it was so-​so, especially for being in New England. But my in-​laws and husband were happy.

My friends and I stoppped by for a late lunch. It was very busy but we were seated right away in a nice comfy booth. Our waitress was very friendly, nice and attentive. Menu options were great and our food was better than we expected. We would definitely come back!
