older property, so don’t expect the amenities of a higher priced, newer hotel. But that’s the point! this is half the price of hotels closer to Newport, and puts you out nearer Horse Neck Beach and the Tiverton area and shopping, sightseeing, vineyards. The rooms are newly renovated and perfectly acceptable. Staff is more than accommodating. I’d left a bag of dirty laundry in the room — nothing valuable, but a couple t-​shirts from the trip that would be hard to replace. And they sent it to me at their expense. The «white whine» of people who complain about this place is just hilarious — «I paid $ 80 for a room instead of $ 150 and it was less than perfect!»
