The Go Go Diner

This place is just ok. The hash really is not the greatest. The prices are high for breakfast. Waitress was not very friendly. I will definitely find another place to eat when i visit.

This Place probably has the best French toast ever I mean just terrific the waitress is very kind it’s like a big family here I will be back and will be getting the French toast once again

Well, we went here after church for breakfast /​lunch. People were served before us that arrived after us. We waited an hour and a half for our food. Not to pleased. Food was okay. Don’t think we’ll be going back any time soon. :(

It is a rarity that I’ll say something negative about a small business given the challenges the owners face. That being said I certainly hope today was just a perfect storm of bad days for this place.
I’d do want to point out the hash is very good.
To start, we arrived at 12:15 pm intending to have breakfast or lunch. We were seated immediately. A few moments later our drink order was taken. My spouse ordered a Rueben but was told only breakfast was available. How odd.
A good ten minutes goes by and the couple behind us are served what looks like patty melts. I thought there was no lunch?
About a half hour later a couple is seated by us. I overhear them or ding lunch but are refused because the kitchen is «backed up». The promptly leave. Looks like they’ve lost a customer.
I kid you not, 45 minutes after we order we finally get our food. 45 minutes for eggs and hash!
I asked the waitress why things we so slow and service so, well, frazzled. She said it was a new cook and he fell behind. She was very apologetic and I could see she was having an awful day having to apologize to every table about how slow the service was.
I hope the owner reads this and addresses these problems. I really like the food and wait staff but would be hard pressed to return given the plethora of options.

WOW, I’ve never been disappointed when I come here. Excellent staff. Excellent food. Always a great place to eat.

Owner made negative comments about customers when they left. Wait staff doesn’t seem happy working there. We heard the hash is wonderful, but it’s not — it’s just ordinary. My two eggs, bacon and potatoes was nothing to write home about. We will not be back. Plus the owner sat behind the counter looking at the customers and checking his watch. It was a Sunday morning and the restaurant was only ¹⁄₃ full; guess that should of been our clue to walk away. We won’t be back.

Little place in a strip mall next to bingo hall. A local gem! My husband had corn beef hash with eggs and I had crystal chicken sandwich with hand cut fries! Delicious and delightful service. We aren’t local but will be back when we in town!

Rebel Benedict. Awesome!!! Definitely going back to try the corned beef hash next. Nice and friendly staff.

Visiting the area and thanks to Unilocal we found this great breakfast spot! Hash was delicious!

If you are in North Ft. Myers be sure to stop by this place. We have eaten breakfast here several times and the food is fabulous! Biscuits & gravy is the best I’ve had.
Service is great also! You will not be disappointed.

We came here on a whim for brunch. My husband got the hash grande since we read it was the house specialty and I got the Rebel Benedict. We were not disappointed! The hash was full of flavor, moist, with slightly sweet yet smoky flavor, and the eggs cooked perfectly. The Rebel Benedict had fluffy biscuits and lots of rich sausage gravy. We will definitely be back!

Always love getting breakfast here. The food is great and inexpensive. The owner and employees are friendly and welcoming. The rebel benedict is delicious.

Customer service = eh dry. Food is awesome! I ordered biscuits and gravy and omg so yummy! I wasn’t expecting four biscuits! So it makes sense when the price is like 8.99. But it was delicious they weren’t stingy with the amount of gravy either. You know how some places give you hardly any gravy — so annoying. I was pleased with my purchase. I also got an English muffin cause it’s bomb with strawberry jam and the guy buttered it up… Omg that butter was so good!!! My man got the 222, he liked it. Whatever no complaints other than he finally came to senses enjoying Cuban coffee much more over any other coffee. Don’t know if they serve any here though. Moving on would deff come here again. Love me some good B & G! Deff home made does t make you feel like crap either. Pancakes made from scratch too! Just didn’t get offered any syrup being it was to go so make sure to ask because they did not put any in our bag.

I love Go Go. My family and I eat there about once a week for breakfast and I’ve always been really happy with the food. It doesn’t have a lot going on as far as atmosphere goes but I love the small diner feel. The food is always very tasty and comes out pretty fast.

We had the blueberry pancakes and the junior hash. My mom cleaned her plate and I had the junior hash that was delicious and too much for 1 meal for me.
Service was friendly and the food came out fast and hot.

Awesome breakfast food. If you like Corned Beef Hash, this is the place for you. Very hospitable staff, with excellent service. Had my first Hash with Turkey instead of Beef. Must go here if you’re in the area.

Thought I would give this place a try. Judging from the comments, I figured the experience would be decent.
The portions dont justify the price. What you see is what you get. Thewait staff is overwhelmed, largely due unorganization. Food took forever to come out and when it did, the food was cold. Lets not forget that we were still without our drinks!
I love to support small businesses but sadly, this was my first and last visit to the Go Go Diner.

After 2 years of hearing how great Go Go diner is I was able to go.
But unless you are a corn beef hash aficionado it is just a good diner. Nothing spectacular.
I was there on a Sunday morn. I was surprise as to how small it was. My server Randy was great.
Coffee… good for coffee.
Corn beef hash is the specialty but I am not a hash type. A variety of of pancakes, red velvet, chocolate chip blue berries etc.
What is the big deal of red velvet cake and such??? It seems to be all over here.
Anyway. I had the Rebel Rebellion. 3 eggs, your style, 4 thick slices of bacon (mmmmmmm) and the southern staple of biscuit and gravy. All very good, easier to buy then make for self at home.
Over all a good diner, but outstanding IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII don’t think so.
Would I go back definitely

Best Breakfast in Town! The corn beef hash is amazing! Also the Biscuits and Gravy is equally special, if you have not been yet I strongly urge you stop in. The service is great… fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is great.

Homemade cornbeef and hash can make come back every weekend. Other people I was with had a couple issues, but that’s more about them then the Go-​Go Diner. We need to support mom and pop places like this.
