This place is a piece of El Salvador in Noho! I literally felt like I was in El Salvador with all the «va pue vos» phrases I heard. The food is very authentic like MF Dooms rap skills and delicious is an understatement. I ordered 5 pupusas and literally asked the waitress to marry me after! I imagined myself eating pupusas for the rest of my young life. She said no, but it was definitely worth a try. The service is a little slow, but I expect that from family owned restaurants. So give this place a shot like Nicky Minajs butt doctor. I will be back cause backstreets back alright!!!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I ordered food from here for takeout and the service was terrible, which is a shame because the food is decent. The employees that they have working here are a joke, they are so rude. They did not put any napkins nor utensils and were giving me such an attitude when I asked them for some. I told them that the servicee that they were giving me was ridiculous and that they were offering bad service and they replied telling me that if I didnt like the service that I shouldn’t go there. I returned the food and asked for a refund because it is not ok for a server nor cook to tell you that. Worst service here DONT GO!

Service was absolutely horrible! Ordered coffee but only received one half and half and 1 sugar each time i asked for them. It took 4 times to get 4 of each. My daughter is HIGHLY allergic to rice so a request for them to not put rice on her plates, she ordered 2 things, was ignored and it was put on the order even after I explained her allergy problems. When I requested for them to re do the order the waitress just shoveled the rice off the plate in front of us and said that the rice didn’t touch all the food. SHE’S HIGHLY ALLERGIC TO RICE PRODUCTS!!! She did not touch either plate but I paid for both items. As we were walking out I was told by the waitress that my daughter could have ate around it. No comment, I WILL NEVER EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER recommend this place. I hope the $ 35 for 2 was worth it.

This place has delicious pupusas but it’s overridden by there horrible customer service. They basically have none. The women don’t speak English and lag when you order.

Pupusas were «okay,» the curtido was flavorless, the bistek was chewy and old, casamiento had good flavor but it was made with pinto beans (wha!), the fried plantains, well… the only item that was good.
Watching the soccer game was the best part…

I went here because on a friend’s recommendation although he said the service was poor but the food was pretty good I thought I’d try it.
The service was deplorable! I tried to order over the phone but got hung up on, when I tried to call back… busy. for 15 minutes! Perhaps my Spanish wasn’t good enough? It’s close to my house so I just went over. I walked to the counter and waited as she was having a conversation with the other woman she worked with. As it was obvious casual and personal (I know enough Spanish to figure that out) I said «excuse me» she looked at me, turned around and finished her conversation! She, obviously, works by the hour; Finally Rebecca took my order and said it would be more than 30 minutes (I ordered it to go) AS there was only one person in the place (and he already had his food) I asked why As I only ordered 4 pappus She said «I very busy» and pointed to 2 tickets hanging behind her.
She was so rude I just walked out.
No food is worth this type of treatment.
I cannot support a business that treats it’s customers in such a disrespectful, uncivil manner.

Its not all that. i would not dine there. I just call in my order and pick it up. The pupusas are good trust.

The food is ok here. The customer service is the worse. My family usually calls in to pick up and they act like its such a drag to serve us. Hanging up on you and? ing if you’ll even show up.

Oh man this is my go to pupusas place! The cooks are amazing ad even though the place is small and poor you’re going there for the food not for the looks! Their Fresco de Ensalada is THE bomb and the fact that they offer shrimp pupusas its a kick! You will not leave this place unsatisfied!

This is my favorite spot in the Valley for Salvadorean food. They have the best pupusas, and ensalada drink! Their breakfast is also really good. And the best part is how cheap it is to eat here. I highly reccomemd this place!

So i promised my co-​workers i would bring pupusas in to work for us all but then I remembered I was staying at my gf house and I didn’t know of any pupusa places in her area. So she told me about this place and I went to check it out. The one think I hate about going to any pupusaria is that there is usually no one there who speaks english… dont get me wrong im not upset about that I just hate that I dont speak enough Spanish to order pupusas confidently… but anyways my co-​workers all loved the pupusas as well as myself and I will definitely be returning for more.

The pupusas at this place are great! The prices are fairly cheap. They have pupusas de maza de arroz, which are very hard to find. I highly recommend this place. Keep in mind this is a very small and simple place.
