This review is based on only 1 visit. I travel a lot and rarely see the same place twice, but this place is nice. The service was nice and the food was amazing. I had the BBQ pulled pork per the bartenders recommendation and it was superb. If you’re passing through, it’s worth a stop!

My parents, fiancée, and I ended up here for my birthday dinner after a few other places nearby boasted waits of over an hour. Our inconvenience at other restaurants ended up working in our favor, because we had a fantastic meal and great service at Steamers. The ambiance inside is sports bar meets Italian restaurant. We were tucked away into a spacious table at the back of the restaurant. Partitions between tables give the illusion of privacy, so it was a nice, intimate place to enjoy a great meal. It’s not too upscale, so we felt comfortable in our jeans and sandals. We started off with spinach-artichoke dip. Without exaggeration, it was some of the BEST spin dip that I’ve ever had. There were large chunks of artichoke hearts inside. I could(and did) eat it with a spoon. We also had some baked oysters, which were fresh and flavorful. For my main entrée, I ordered the fire-roasted gnocchi with shrimp. At this point, I was pretty full from the appetizers, but the gnocchi was so good that I ate about half of it anyway. It made for great leftovers the next day! After we finished our meal, our waitress(who was so nice, personable, and attentive) brought over an ice cream dessert with a giant sparkler stuck in the top. I usually hate being singled out for attention like that, but the dessert was delicious and the sparkler was pretty cool, so I won’t complain. Overall, it was one of the more enjoyable meals that I’ve had in awhile. I’ll definitely be back during future visits to see my family.

I had the mussels and the ahi tuna tacos. Both were excellent. I will be back regularly.

Wonderful food and service. Everything was perfect. We wanted crab legs and they were seriously the best around here. Definitely will be going back.

Just finished a great meal at Steamers Stone Wall Tavern. The steak and scallops were spot on. Service was quick and efficient while the atmosphere was warm and comfortable. Steamers was recommended and it did not disappoint. We are definitely going back.

Very very disappointed in the food. Used to be our favorite. Steak salad was store bought with no thought. Steak was cold. Service was very good, once you got by the teenagers at the hostess station. What happened? We loved this place. Now probably not going back

Stopped by this place on a Friday night; the parking lot was jammed and we were worried it would be long wait, but they said ten minutes, and just as they said, in ten minutes we were seated. Friendly service. I had the seared ahi, and Mary had the scallops; both were excellent. Everything was fine– liked it. I’d come back.

Very good seafood dinner. We had an appetizer of a cheese tart that was seasoned just right and was just the right consistency. Wife had a very tasty salmon salad and my dinner of shrimp purloo was perfect. Lots of shrimp, plenty of flavor. Kitchen was a little slow but I would definitely repeat.

The food was outstanding tuna bites and hot and spicy shrimp were prepaired perfectly by the bartender Trudy who was a joy to drink with! I love this place and can’t wait to go back for more! The specials looked awesome!

What a surprise! Passing through, and the places off the highway are usually either chains(boring) or mediocre at best. This place, though nothing impressive from the outside, boasted a long beer list and a very interesting menu. Loud enough that the kids didn’t bother anyone, and the food was delish!

After moving to Poland this past winter and getting stuck in a rut of only checking out placed on Rt 224, we branched out last night to visit Steamers. I was a little put off at first as it looks like it is part of the Super 8 which I guess technically it is as an archway joins the two but it turned out to be a pretty nice restaurant. There were several big tables setup when we walked in but fortunately we just beat the rush and our efficient waitress got our order in ahead of them. We started with the stuffed pepper which I thought were very good with a nice marinara and a blue cheese sauce. My husband was not a fan as he thought the peppers were overstuffed and would have preferred the sausage be a bit more broken up within the pepper. Our entrees were really tasty — I had Chicken Calabrese which has chicken, broccoli, mushrooms and hot peppers in a pink vodka sauce over penne. The hubby had Chili Garlic chicken which was fried(yes fried) pasta with a peanut sauce that had a sweet thai chili sauce with garlic. I thought the bite I tried was a little sweet but he said it was really good! Overall, very nice meal and we’ll be back!

I had chosen steamers as the location for a surprise birthday party I was planning. Not only had I never planned a surprise party like this, I’d never planned a catered party of any sort. We had all been to steamers before and we knew the food has always been very good. The catering was no exception. The best way to describe steamers for a catered event is flexible. Josh D. helped walk me through menu options and helped build a party that was exactly what I was looking for and within my budget. Even though I changed my mind a number of times, they always seemed happy to work with the changes. When it came time for the party, the staff handled all the guests promptly and stayed on top of the(rather chaotic) gathering with a completely professional attitude. The food was just right for a group of people with truly varied tastes. Most importantly, the majority of the guests felt compelled to comment on how good the food and the venue were for the party. Thanks to Steamers for helping making an important event truly special and truly enjoyable.

I love this place. The food is awesome and service is great. I have been here several times and have not had a bad experience. This place is great for a first date if you want to impress. For the service and the quality it is well priced. With drinks and meals for 2, 50.00 to 70.00.

Fantastic. Fear place to hit up if you’re starting in a hotel across the street or love down the road. (Get the Pittsburgh Burger)

Staying across the street at Holiday Inn. Short walk over, to very nice restaurant. I was by myself on business trip, sat at bar and had grilled salmon salad. Excellent! Fish was perfectly prepared and fresh. Salad was great with olives, onions, etc. Perfect portion size and fresh baked roll on side. If you are near by you will be pleased if you stop here.

Great place off the interstate 76. Excellent Prince Edward Island mussels either white or red sauce. Decent crab cake but the bar is set extremely high since we live near Maryland… don’t hesitate! Family friendly!

Food was decent, the menu has lots of appealing dishes on it. The pricing and menu items are a bit more upscale than the place appears from the outside. Biggest issue I had was, both the door hour sign and the sleeves the checks come in say american express, yet when I presented my AmEx to pay with, they only take Visa and Mastercard. This makes for a more difficult process to expense a meal for my work, and if the AmEx was my only card I would have been up a creek since I did not feel I had to ask based on the sign and the check covers. The owners should replace these items with generic or visa/mc items to avoid confusion.

We ate dinner here last night(a Tuesday). The staff was very friendly and courteous. We were given a seat away from the bar area which was appreciated since it was happy hour and the bar was a little on the noisy side. Our food was quite tasty. My wife had baked penne and I had chicken parm. Our only complaint was portion size. We could have split my wife’s dinner between the two of us and still had leftovers to take home. The side of speg. with my meal was larger than I would have wanted had that been all I ordered. We will go back!

Well, I write this with a heavy heart… our latest dining experience was so subpar it was disheartening. The usually flawless broiled scallops were the worst I have ever tasted. Just not old tasting but a weird taste. Greenbeans tasted like they sat in a metal pan all day. My husband’s swordfish was definitely from the freezer and was sliced in half… to make more portions? It was thinner than a piece of catfish. In all our time at this restaurant this was a deal breaker. When you ask people to pay what you ask for a meal it better be worth it. Tread lightly. I hope it was an off night with an off chef. Please make it better.

Heard very good comments regarding this place and was NOT disappointed. Patrick our server was excellent and very personable. Josh the owner stopped by and I was treated to a tour of the kitchen. The kitchen was in very clean condition considering it was right in the middle of service. Not many places want you to see their kitchens, Josh was proud of his and rightly so. We had the Mussels in Marinara which were very good. I had Ahi Tuna(rare) and my GF had a killer crab cake. We live 15 minutes away and will be stopping back monthly.
