California Pizza-the Ultimate

I placed a order a big sur pizza with «No Frigging Onions» at 3pm. It was delivered at 4pm. I said «it smells like onions.» The driver said «it is a big sur with no onions.» One bite and it was apparent it had extra onions. I called to reorder and I get the usual I’m sorry we will get another one right out to you. I wait until 5pm and another pizza is delivered with onions. I called back and said whoever works in the kitchen making pizza needs to be fired because they suck! I am done with this place. I’m throwing your advertisement plaque away from inside my condo.

Their pizza selections are varied and amazing. My pizza had veggies and cheese with pesto sauce. Service very prompt. Ate outside, we were the only ones there between 5 and 6 on a Wednesday. So it was very quiet.

first time there I ordered a sandwich for there and a pizza to go the pizza was average nothing wrong with it but nothing great either. the sandwich on the other hand was amazing I have never tasted a bread that phenomenal I could have sat there and just ate the sub rolls no toppings needed

Bless the staff who works at California Pizza — they have a bounty of patience and great customer service skills! We came in with a party of 15 including 7 children. We had no wait to get tables to accommodate us, and our server was so patient in taking our multiple orders and dealing with us switching seats several times within our tables. They have a large menu with many options to customize pizzas — from different types of sauces, meats, dough and vegetables to gourmet cheeses. I ordered the personal pan size of the margherita pizza, really enjoyed it and still had two pieces left over for lunch the next day. My nephew has severe peanut allergies, and since they offer pizzas with peanuts, the manager set up an entirely separate kitchen to prepare his food.
The kids (and adults!) in our party really enjoyed the wide variety of games at California Pizza, in addition to the tickets redeemable for prizes. We all said the lovely people working behind the toy redemption desk should be the highest paid employees there, since the kids picked out a number of items with the tickets they’d accumulated, frequently changing their minds.
We all enjoyed our food and games, and the staff’s service was second to none.

Vacationing in Myrtle Beach and my family wanted pizza. I am not a huge pizza lover. Unfortunately, they are. With that being said, I am super picky. The pizza and wings were delicious.

Very good pizza made to order. Very impressive pricing for Barefoot. We will visit again. Service was good. Lemonade on the menu but actually Pink Lemonade server did not charge us and replaced for free. Good service Great Pizza.

Ive been here several times, and had delivery a few times as well.
I recently went in, sat at the bar, had excellent service!!! Will be going back!!!

Great pizza with awesome fresh ingredients. They have nice custom pizzas but spice them up with some of the fresh ingredients or different sauces. I always make a custom pizza. Family of four and we each get our own pizza the way we want them. Wait time can be a little long if they get slammed but otherwise great service.

Ordered an original cheese & a buffalo chicken pizza. Buffalo pizza pretty spicy. Cheese wasn’t great. The sauce is biter & of low quality. The cheese was the same. On a good note — prices are good.
Buffalo — $ 7.50
Cheese — $ 6.50
Won’t go back.

Ultimate California Pizza was the sleeper hit of a recent trip to North Myrtle Beach. We were starving and UCP is located across the street from where we were staying at North Beach Plantation, so we gave them a call.
We ordered a large Hollywood pizza– which is topped with mozzarella, pepperoni, smoked ham, ground beef, italian sausage and pork sausage and then finished with smoked gouda. The ingredients were on point, and the crust was perfect (none of us can agree on pizza crust– and we all loved it!) and the smoked gouda put it over the top.
We also ordered a chicken Caesar salad and boneless wings with ginger teryaki. The wings were good, maybe even better than average. The salad is typically a pretty boring option, but not this one. The dressing seemed house made– though I doubt it. And the chicken that topped the salad was poached and seasoned perfectly.
Overall we loved everything aboutt Ultimate California Pizza — I wish they’d open one in Raleigh!

Really great wheat crust, light and tasty. All the toppings were nice and fresh too.

We first stopped here at the request of my son. We had been walking around Barefoot Landing and he was hungry. My wife and I had dinner plans a little later, so we bought him a personal cheese (that he shared with his mom). They both seemed to enjoy it, so I made a note to come back another day when I was actually hungry.
A few days later the opportunity presented itself. We ordered a large cheese pizza, a personal Little Italy, and an order of the stuffed cheese bread sticks. It was definitely tasty. My wife loved the Little Italy, and based on all the sauce covering his face, I’m pretty sure my son loved the cheese.
The restaurant itself was clean and well maintained. The employees were friendly and cheerful. They were also helpful and told us about things in the area to do while on vacation.
Overall a great experience.

Really good pizza! Had a really good waitress and service! Me and my husband both got personal make your own pizzas, and it was just enough to fill both of us without being stuffed. My dad got the lighter fare pizza and he thought it was pretty tasty. Souvenir cup nothing special though

Dropped in for lunch special, but the menu was full of other ideas that looked good. Got 2 pizzas, both were half and half, made for a variety of eating. Good pizza, not much for indoor environment, I guess the outside patio woild have been more interesting. The staff was adequate, had to watch for server to get attention. The 1 person that stood out was the hostess. I wish I could say it was for great personality. Nooooo. Walking around, constantly looking like she had something stinky under her nose. Thank goodness I didn’t have to deal with her.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon. Had to hunt down the (extremely surly) hostess to be seated but once we found her, we were seated promptly. The service was very fast. Our waitress was great. The pizza? OMG, so good. We had the Ultimate Cheese and added pepperoni to it. I encourage you try the pizza this way.

We stopped here while at Barefoot Landing. There are Ultimate California Pizza’s everywhere!
Pros: The Pizza was excellent. They have a specialty cheese pizza and we added pepperoni to it making this one of the better pizza’s I have had. The crust is crunchy and there is not too much bread for pizza. I was very satisfied with the location though it can get hot outside the view is worth it.
Cons: The waitress was not the friendliest I was with handling some of our pizza with her bare hands.

We ordered the High Sierra (BBQ chicken) & Ultimate Cheese pizzas for lunch. Both pizzas were hot, extremely tasty, & consumed in their entirety by our group. The only complaint? It took an hour for delivery. I’ve bookmarked this pizzeria for next year’s trip to Myrtle.

The restaurant is clean and the waitress was friendly, unfortunately the service was extremely slow. They had the poor girl working tables at both the inside and outside seating areas.
The pizza my husband ate was really good, the crust was amazing. I had a spinach bacon salad and that was also good and fresh.
Just do to the speed of service I’m not sure I would go back again, maybe delivery is a better option then again who know how long that would take.

A bit of a wait for not great pizza and inattentive service. The sweet tea was not sweet.
Very disappointed, as I thought they could do this right in the South. Also, it was super loud in here. No one could hear anything anyone was saying. I would skip this place and try another of the many pizza shops in N. Myrtle Beach.

We went on a Tuesday night in April. Not very crowded at the time (6:30) but it got busier at 7pm. We had great service by a helpful waiter named Miles. The small (personal) pizza is 4 slices, the medium is 8 slices, and the large is 12 slices. It’s nice because you can create your own or order from their menu of unique signature creations.
The Golden (Hawaiian) pizza had plenty of pineapple, dates, coconut, and ham with just the right amount of salty/​sweet flavor. The Black and Bleu pizza had lots of big tenderloin and portobello mushrooms. And one member of our party created their own — there were multiple cheeses (smoked Gouda, Chèvre, to name two of the more unusual) and more veggies than I’ve ever seen before. Everything tasted great.
The sheer variety of toppings here make it a great change of pace from the seafood one usually gets while on a beach vacation. Definitely will go back there again.
