Tim Hortons

Oh dear, Oh dear.
Having given one good review and one bad review to 2 separate branches, I now have to follow the bad review with an even worse one. It seems that there is no set standard at these places so I should imagine they are franchises, and from what I can tell, they are mostly terrible! I stopped here for a Latte and it was totally undrinkable. I don’t know what it tasted like as I have never had that taste experience before, thank God! It was utterly nauseating. If I hadn’t ordered a Latte, there is no way in hell I could have identified it as any form of coffee. It was so bad, I had to spit out the one mouthful I had taken through the car window. Bad form I know but better than dying of shock! Please avoid this place, even if you are desperate. I guarantee that your your desperation after tasting will be worse than that before tasting. Don’t say you haven’t been warned!!!

Over the last several months, I have noted a change in the attitude of the employees. Previously, they had been stable, level headed and quality conscious employees. During my last several visits, the food and coffee quality has not suffered, however, the employees attentiveness to customer service and basic housekeeping:
–coffee filters observed on floor (- this does not mean I saw them use them… maybe they properly disposed of them)
— tables with items left from previous customers
— employees consuming beverages while serving and preparing food for customers
— cash register counter area covered in sugar
It’s not the calm cool collected clean crew that I previously experienced.

The coffee is great here. Having had Tim Hortons when I visited Buffalo, I knew I had to stop by for it. The staff here are not as welcoming and friendly as one would expect but they do meet the minimum requirements of getting my order right and out in a timely fashion. Maybe they were having a bad day?

Got a bowl of soup recently and it was nearly 100% broth. It was chicken noodle, and I received no more than 2 tiny chunks of chicken, a couple lathe carrot slices, and some celery. Overall, it was a flavorless bowl of broth. I’m uploading a picture of the actual soup, and I poured it into a bowl so you can better see how EMPTY the soup is. I’ll never, ever, order chicken noodle soup from Tim Hortons again. BE WARNED.

As someone who works late nights, it is great to have a place open all night. One night I came through the drive through around 3:45. They were having issues with their systems for payments so after talking with the manager, they gave me my sandwich and coffee free of charge. A nice gesture by them as they didnt have to do that. I will spend my money there any time.

I want to give 4 stars for my hot mocha because it was delicious. Very simple but tasty. Also the the man making it was very knowledgeable about the different types of drinks they had, and was helpful.
But… the workers were very unprofessional. One worker is outside smoking a cigarette and talking to a guy. Once we got our order, the man making it went outside and made out with his gf. It is horrible that at that point nobody was in the store. There definitely needs to be a manger there to keep the employees in check.
Great drink but very unprofessional.

The staff is great. The coffee is made to order and the boston creams are amazing. The last time I saw this place was in Kandahar, Afghanistan and they still are awesome. If you haven’t been to a Tim Horton’s You must experience it. I Love the Canadians!!!
