The best tasting Chinese takeout place I’ve encountered. Family run. I’ve ordered quite a few different things, and they’ve all been good. My recommendation is to stick with the classics. Chinese takeout places often have massive menus. The fresher, better tasting items are the ones most frequently ordered.

Usually these little places can’t kick out some seriously good food, but not this place! Omg…food was way to salty! The 3 dishes that were ordered all had the same sweet, brown salty sauce. And service was anything but excellent. We won’t be giving this place a second chance.

First time trying this place and it will be the last. I think there are many false positive reviews written for this place. Place is very dirty! Dirty tables, floor, windows, entry door plus crap all over the restaurant. Health board needs to go there! I am sure there are bugs in the kitchen. Placed an order online which they confirmed to pick up at 11 am. I got there at 11 am and they weren’t open. I was just about to leave at 11:10 am when I saw 3 kids and the parents walk in. The owner said we don’t open until 11 and I said it’s 11:10 and you confirmed my order to pickup at 11 am. She said, «Oh, it will take us time to make it» but never apologized and acted like it was an inconvenience for them. Got the food to the office, it had leaked all over the bag. No silverware or napkins even though it was a to go order and missing condiment packets I had asked for when I ordered, plus cold soup. The food was a 0 on a scale of 1 – 10. I took 2 bites and threw it out. It was nasty. I love Chinese food but not from this place. If you value your health and don’t want food poisoning stay away.

So good! We have ordered from here three times and every time they are on time and the food is warm and delicious. Me and two friends never hesitate to order delivery from here! We’re never been disappointed! The crab wontons are amazing! And the Kung pao chicken, pepper steak, and chicken fried rice are very tasty!

Oh my god. Yuckola. Why, oh why do most Chinese restaurants put so much salt on everything? The pork pan fried noodles were so salty that they were inedible. It tasted like a migraine just waiting to happen. The fortune cookies were the only thing that didn’t go in the trash.

I have been vegetarian for years and I know what happens to a vegetarian body that unknowingly ingests meat. I’ve had serious issues with the ‘vegetarian’ dinners here, if you are vegetarian do not take the risk! If a restaurant lists an item as Vegetarian on the menu it should not contain any meat or meat stocks!

Food is ok but delivery time is ridiculous. Estimates 45 – 60 min and takes nearly 2 hrs for food to arrive.

Chinese food is Chinese food to me. It doesn’t have to be fancy or anything at all like that, because who the heck expects fancy Chinese food from this sort of spot? C’mon lets be real here. You’re not eating this food at home sitting in candlelight and eating with your finest dinnerware. No. You’re eating this kind of food straight out the box while sitting on your couch at home in your underwear watching Netflix and hopefully chilling later if yo text game strong. Tasty Garden serves exactly that kinda food, and I could eat it all up everyday if I didn’t care about my internal salt levels becoming like the ocean. So greasy, so salty, and way too big of portions, but I loved every bit of it. This is the kind of Chinese restaurant that I needed to find around my area. Tasty Garden reaps fields of plenty indeed. It really tastes like what it’s supposed to taste like. I mean, what more can you ask for from a restaurant. This is the type of restaurant where unless they’re handing out free massages to whoever orders, then they’re not getting above 3 stars ever. But that’s okay. It’s not fine dining. It’s not the best meal ever. It’s just a super quality meal that’s definitely gonna fill you up. I’ll admit it’s a little expensive. For reals though $ 20 for Mongolian Beef and Fried Rice? That’s train robbery right there. Portion size more than makes up for it though. You’ll have more than enough leftovers. So anyways, Tasty Garden is a great spot to have in my area. Definitely gonna be making some return visits here.

People are very friendly though despite my salty food. Food was salty more than average Wonton soup had no flavor basically water and salt. Lunch special is cheap but you do get what you pay for. Restaurant is dirty and there’s rice all over the place. But I don’t know maybe some people don’t own brooms. Definitely not the best in Thornton!!!

This was a delivery order. They were fast, and the food was hot. I had egg rolls, crab cheese wontons and lo mein. The wontons were good, not greasy. The lo mein was good as well. The egg rolls were just okay. I would order from this place again.

The delivery is timely, and the food arrives very hot and very fresh. The Vegetable Delight was cooked perfectly and the sauce was heaven. The Mongolian Beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender and the spice level was perfect. The delivery person was also very friendly and genuinely appeared to enjoy his job. I will order from here many times again… 5 stars!

I’ve ordered food from here once, but I ordered several dishes so I hope this is helpful. So… I ordered vegetable lo mein, as well as vegetable curry with faux chicken and vegetable garlic«beef» with a big container of rice. It was all very good but I particularly liked the curry. The curry sauce was very good and abundant enough that it made sense to stir in some rice. It also came with a variety of vegetables cooked in the dish. The lo mein was also very good and could of been a meal in and of itself. It had some mushrooms, bean sprouts, and some greens; the sauce was also good. Then there is the garlic beef, which was good but maybe a little sweeter and less«garlicky» than I was expecting. Of the three it was probably be my least favorite but it was still good and had an assortment of vegetables. As for serving size, the dishes were reasonable for the price and if I use all of the rice it would altogether be a good amount of food. The delivery guy was nice, but you obviously don’t have much in the way of an interaction. If you take something significant away from that exchange it’s probably a bad thing. But I digress. Someone called me, however,(perhaps an owner?) to ensure that my order was correct. I thought that was kind and something you don’t often get from more chain type places. I suppose the only real critique I have, and this is somewhat nit-picky, but I eat a lot of rice and the white rice I received wasn’t as soft as i’m used to.

I just can not find a good Asian place around here! If anyone has a good one, PLEASE tell me. I looked up reviews and this place seemed to have decent ones. This couldn’t have just been an off night. We got orange chicken — it was TERRIBLE. Tasted like orange windex cleaner. The egg rolls and dumplings were terrible. The crab cheese won-tons were okay but there was barely any filling inside. The fried rice — is NOT fried rice. It’s brown rice overcooked. I’ve never had that issue before. The only semi decent thing was the beef lo mien but that was comparing it to the rest of the meal. I had to pick one thing to eat and that was it. Where are these good reviews coming from?! Does the area around here just have such crap choices that this is one people actually like? Yuck. So disappointing and a waste of money. Overpriced and gross.

Great food, great prices. The portions are huge and the service was great. Wasn’t sure what to expect when we walked in, but it was fantastic! Looks like a family owned business — looked like several generations working.

We have tried this place several times. They are one of the only deliver places near us, but we have always really enjoyed the food. It is a little expensive which is why I am giving four stars but I always get delicious, hot food every time. No complaints here!

Small, mom and pop business. Extremely under rated, due to bigger Chinese venues in area. Try the shrimp, it’s big and cleaned(unlike many Chinese restaurants). Nice, friendly take out, small café atmosphere.

I’ve ordered here a few times. Very fast delivery! They have a really good amount of fake meat entrees for vegan/vegetarians! Hot & Sour Soup is my favorite. Drinks are cheap. I would recommend.

I just ordered food from here this evening. I went because I saw the good reviews. Not sure what the good reviews are for. I’m not exaggerating when I say that the only good thing about this place is the fortune cookies. The curry was absolutely disgusting. General Tso chicken had more batter than chicken.
