Larry and his guys are great. Totally honest and on time. I take all three of my cars here. I recently brought my wife’s 2010 Mazda in to have an oil leak looked at. Larry found the issue in my Power Transfer Unit and did a bunch of research to determine that Mazda had just extended all of their warranties on the unit as they were trying to avoid a recall. Larry sent me to the dealership were I got the $ 4000 service for free! Thanks Larry!!!

I lived in Novato area for 19 years and took all my autos to Larry. You stick with a guy like Larry because he is one of a dying breed of honest, respectable mechanics! I bought a truck new in 1994 and from then on took it to Larry for all maintenance; Larry kept that truck on the road for all 18 years I owned it for much less than I would have paid elsewhere!
For Military personnel in the area who need to do a pre-​transfer vehicle inspection see Larry; he supports us in uniform… count on it!

Total Crap service. VW Passat 2001 — head light change he charged me 100 $ for labor.
I went to the next garage beside him– European Auto works (just behind Redwood bank). He told me that he wont even charge sometimes to works like this.
Also the break lights that I got repaired had to be replaced twice.

If you like dealing with shady mecahnics come here. i needed a repair and they replaced the wrong part for double the prce and then refused to give me back my money as far as i am concerned the owner is a crook.

Great service and great prices all the time!
Larry and his staff of highly trained mechanics don’t play games like other auto shops. They work to get your ride back on the road as soon as possible and they do an outstanding job repairing your ride each and every time!
I will not take my cars to any other shop. Larry Bacon has a customer for life!
