L Paradis Salon

I had’t been to this salon yet, and then they made the greatest decision and hired my usual hair stylist Melanie! She is fantastic! From helping me grow my hair out for my wedding, to getting it to feel and look healthier she’s been amazing! She specializes in balayage, and I recently had her take me much lighter and it looks and feels fantastic. Im always super nervous with going lighter with such dark hair but Melanie always makes sure my hair is more than well taken care of! I know how scary it can be trusting your hair with someone new but you won’t be disappointed with Melanie! I also really enjoyed my experience at L Paradis itself, it felt very warm elegant and welcoming. All the women working there seemed friendly and very willing to make sure you’re comfortable!

Aimee is great! She did an excellent job on my highlights. She’s very good and really friendly. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a new stylist/​colorist.

I’ve only been in this area for going on 2 years and I have not found a place that I loved until now! I’ve never been super savvy about knowing what’s good for my hair or knowing what to do with it. I have thin hair and I prefer to just let the stylist do what they think is best. I called L Paradis on Wednesday and spoke to Linda. She was able to see me the very next day due to a cancellation. I’m SO happy I met Linda! She is so sweet and welcoming! I just needed a cut and she went above and beyond. I can’t wait to go back for highlights in a few weeks! Thanks Linda!!! :)

I used to travel to Santa Rosa every six or seven weeks to have my hair cut, colored and/​or highlighted. I had tried several salons near me and just had, at best, fair results. Then I was introduced to Laura at L Paradis and have been a loyal customer since! I’m the type of person that likes to «play» with my hair. Sometimes I have opinions about a cut I want (and Laura will match it perfectly) and other times I’ll just ask her to do what she thinks is best or at least direct me (those tend to be my favorite cuts). It’s great though that she’ll make suggestions and run with it if I say «ok» OR match any pictures I might bring in. The salon itself is lovely and I know Laura strives to have a top notch group of stylists working there. I’ve had my hair cut by one of her other stylists because of a schedule conflict and that cut/​color came out great as well. I’ve brought my 17 y/​o daughter in and she’s always been pleased with her results too. I get frequent and random compliments on my hair and I can ONLY attribute it to the cut/​color because I’m not one to spend any length of time styling it in the morning. It’s largely just blow dry and go… and yet I still get compliments! Beautiful place, a highly qualified group of stylists… I highly recommend L Paradis!

Aimee is wonderful!!! Looking for a new hair dresser and salon is a scarry thing to do – and Unilocal helped me make a GREAT decision in finding Aimee! She works blonde magic! Having blonde hair, it can be a struggle to find a hair stylist that can master that perfect blonde color. And Aimee has definitely done that! She knows her stuff, and I absolutely love my haircuts and colors every time I see her! I’d HIGHLY recommend Aimee and L Paradis Salon!

Kelly is an amazing colorist. I was so very lucky to have found her when I moved to town. She made my hair look fantastic and it was so enjoyable to hang out with her. I recently moved out of the area. I’m so sad that I couldn’t pack her in my suitcase and bring her with me. Miss her!

Kelly at L Paradis Salon is an expert at her craft. Truly an artist. She brought life to my hair through her knowledge of cut and color. In our consultation she was very thorough and focused on meeting my needs. She was very cautious of keeping my length and creating a color I was comfortable with. It is very apparent that Kelly loves what she does, continues to educate herself about the industry and genuinely wants to provide the ultimate salon experience. You feel like a friend (an extremely talented one) is handling your hair. I am a better version of me after leaving Kelly’s chair today.

Kelly gave me the gift of beautiful long extensions about a year ago now. She picked the perfect color and she taught me how to maintain and keep them looking great. They are so natural looking that everyone thinks I’m a real mermaid ;) I recently moved out of the area but I will always come back to Kelly, I only trust her because she is so kind hearted and best at what she does!

Brie is my hair angel! I’m new to the salon and had a bad experience with someone else. Brie literally stepped in, fixed my hair during my appointment and was able to schedule me for a «fix it» appointment before the end of the week! My nearly 6 year search for someone in marin is OVER because I found Brie!!! She gave me a modern classy cut — long A line. She will not disappoint! I’ll try to add a picture of my cut.

Aimee is amazing! She does an incredible job on both my haircuts and highlights.
When I started going to Aimee, I had had a terrible experience with my former hairstylist. My hair was over-​processed, damaged, and breaking off in large chunks. Aimee was able to salvage as much of my length as possible while removing much of the damaged hair. She gave me a cute haircut, and made my hair much healthier.
At subsequent appointments, Aimee expertly cut and highlighted my hair. I waited a decent number of months before returning to Aimee, and during that time, my highlights grew out leaving a practically no line of demarcation. I was very impressed with how naturally and attractively my highlights grew out.
I highly recommend Aimee. My hair is now healthy and long thanks to her expertise. You will not be disappointed.

Jennifer is the best! Incredibly clean and welcoming environment. Top of the line equipment. Current on trends. And, most importantly, they REALLY care about you and your hair! It’s taken some time, but I’ve finally found «my hair stylist.» Thank you, Jennifer! My hair has never looked better!

Kelly C did my highlights. She is so creative! People think it’s my real hair color. It looks natural. She also does an excellent A-​line cut! Highly recommended because she takes her time and is genuinely interested in you. Go here and ask for Kelly.

Last week I visited L Paradis Salon after checking out Unilocal Reviews. I received a quick call back from Brenda, and had an appointment scheduled immediately. I wanted a long a-​line bob… which I have tried to get at other salons however it never turned out the way I wanted. Brenda on the other hand, cut my hair exactly as I showed her in the picture I brought with me that day. Brenda was a blast to talk to while getting my hair cut, and I will definitely be back to see her in a couple of months for my next trim!

This salon is perfection. The stylists are experienced. The salon is decorated beautifully and is kept very clean. The products they use are superior. Laura, the owner, has been my stylist for years. She is professional, keeps my look updated and fresh, and has never missed with my color, highlights or cut. I consistently get compliments and my hair has never been healthier! I give it five stars because I am consistently happy when I leave… and I always look forward to my next appointment.

Aimee is the best! If you have blonde hair, this is the place to go in Novato. I spent a lot of time and money going to the wrong places that either over charged, fried my hair, or left me with the same roots I walked in with. I searched for a long time for someone who could do blonde hair correctly and I found Aimee on Unilocal and was saved! She’s talented, kind, professional, and affordable, which is rare in Marin County. She uses great products and it always comes out looking beautiful. I won’t go anywhere else. Also the salon is gorgeous and always full of light and energy. I love it!

I must recommend Aimee Garcia and give her the highest possible rating. SHE IS SKILLED. I have been to many stylists in Marin County over the last 15 years but Aimee is hands down THE best. Her professionalism, style and expertise in color and design hits the nail on the head. She connects. She is conscientious, engaging and takes extremely good care of her clients. I always walk out of the salon feeling confident and sexy and receive complements on my hair constantly. Aimee has a great eye, an impeccable sense of style, and provides fast and efficient work with beautiful results. Do yourself a favor, and visit her for your next appointment.
