Ask for Cindy when making your appointment! She is extremely talented and kind hearted which is why I’ve been going to her for 3 years! Her products are great and she knows what will look good on you depending on your hair color and skin color/​tone. The salon itself is very cozy and inviting. Definitely 5 stars!

Annie does a wonderful job cutting hair, she truly listens to what you want. She is great at finding the style that will match your hair texture, lifestyle, and desired look.
I did the Coppola Keratin Smoothing treatment many times as well, she was masterful at its application. I had it done at another salon once when I couldn’t get an appt. here and it did not take like it does when Annie does it.
Her attention to detail is unmatched!

Cindi J started cutting my hair last year. She is dependable, intelligent, listens to exactly what I ask for, and… fast. This former Northeast Philly girl knows how to make you look so g…, o… o…d! I highly recommend her. The Wright Salon is the classiest place to go too. The architect who created it and the contractor who built this salon deserve an interior design award. I never notice or Unilocal about a building’s interior but this place is so beautiful and well designed so you feel like you’re in a $ 500 Hollywood salon, right here in Novato! Who knew???

I called Wright Salon, made appt. with Tami, showed up on time only to find out she forgot about me. This was my first and last impression. If you’re a senior, female, like to talk a lot, then go here. Otherwise there are better salons in Novato and San Rafael.

Twice now I’ve had a problem where stylists want to use warm hair colors on me, and I absolutely hate how my skin looks with warm hair colors. (I wear cool clothing colors, so you’d think stylists would pick up on my preferences). I told the stylist about this issue, and that it’s important to me to have cool hair colors. She said she understood, stylists should listen, etc etc.
We look through hair color swatches together, then she goes to mix up the color, and when she comes back she says…
«It’s not a cool color, but it’s neutral — so not warm.»
I should have just left right then.
But I didn’t. I thought… Well, maybe it’ll look better than I anticipate? We did go over swatches, right? I’ll trust her judgement.
And you know what? It was a pretty color. It accentuated my cut nicely. However, it didn’t go with my skin color, and I felt like all my clothes looked weird too.
I tolerated it for about a week before coloring over it with a boxed hair color in a cool tone — and my gosh, I felt like I looked healthy again.
I give 3 stars because the cut was nice, but not being listened to was not ok. I don’t mind paying for what I want, but I expect to get what I want. If it’s going to take more time, or involve multiple steps — fine. I’m good with that.
The stylist I used to go to in SF gave me amazing color, but I’d like to stay local if I can. However, I won’t be going back to this salon.

Cindy Junca has been doing my hair for years and I always love what she does. She is the epitome of professionalism and really is a fabulous colorist and hairdresser! She knows skin tones and hair tones and how to maximize your best look.. She’s friendly kind and professional and a lot of fun to spend time with while you’re getting pampered at this salon. She really knows her stuff from beginning to end and you can trust her and not be afraid to go get your hair done. I always walk away feeling great about how I look after she’s finished.

I recently started seeing Carol for color and cuts. She is extremely knowledgeable and very talented. I especially love that she uses organic color that seems to be so much more gentle on my delicate aging hair. I have gotten so many compliments that several friends have started seeing her also and very happy with the hair too!

I’ve been going to get my hair done at Wright Salon by Carol for nearly a year now and I couldn’t be happier with my hair. Carol is always accommodating with my appointment times, and always manages to squeeze me in, even on short notice. Each time I get my hair done, Carol suggests new things but without pressure. Last time when I wanted to chop my hair shoulder length, she suggested a more stylish A-​line bob. She also suggested I go with a warmer blonde color. I have received so many compliments on my new hair in the last month! I would recommend Carol to anyone who wants some advice on their hairs color or style, but also to those who know exactly what they want. Carol is a warm friendly professional who I can trust completely with my hair.

Both Annie and Tami are great! They handle my long thick hair well (both cut and color) and I have been going to the Wright Salon for years. However, it is pricey.

Novato is filled with salons but Wright Salon is special. My husband and I have our hair cut by Tami Spano and she is absolutely the best! The only way I can explain her talent is to say that she ‘has it’, and you can trust her eye to give you the best style for your hair and face. My hair is a relatively easy blunt cut but she gets the length just right and is lovely abut cutting my bangs every two weeks because I like them long. She also appreciates long hair and won’t be tempted to scalp you. She is a master at cutting men’s hair! Whether my husband’s hair is short or a bit longer he has never looked so good! We love you Tami!!!

I have been going to the Wright Salon since 2000, and have been happy with my hair ever since. I have gotten highlights, layers, a complete color, blow outs etc. and I’ve always left happy. It’s a relaxing environment (which as a teacher I need). I highly recommend Annie-​she is an incredible stylist. Plus I truly admire that she has been continuing her education by attending Prive seminars (I love those hair products). She also cuts my husband’s hair (or what he has left of it…) and it looks great!

The Wright Salon is first class! Everyone is so nice, the interior is clean and inviting, and there is great shopping all around. I recently began going to Annie for highlights, and I wonder how I went 30 years without this. I love it, and I’m getting compliments left and right. Annie listens to what I want and has delivered perfection every time.

If you’re looking for something new & fresh you should go to The Wright Salon. I’ve gotten my hair colored & cut by Annie many times and I’ve never left disappointed. Even when I was unsure on what I wanted and I just told Annie what I had in mind. She gave me a awesome hair cut & style. I would definitely recommend Annie to all of you who want a stylish hair cut & color.
