Nekter Juice Bar

I finally tried an acai bowl at Nekter– it is about a buck more than what you can get at Jamba Juice in Safeway. But Nekter’s bowl is HUGE, so it served me very well as lunch. Lots of inspiration for Nutribullet plans in my future, and it’s a decent spot to grab something healthy instead of burgers and Mexican in the mall. I think Nekter will get really busy once that spinning studio opens, so I hope Nekter stocks up on ingredients and staff.

Great place, great staff and the only place local to Novato that has fantastic acai bowls. Granted, it’s not the same as what is found in Hawaii or Brasil but it is pretty darn close and as a result, I frequently hit this joint up. So should you!

I was told the Store Mgr would contact me and nearly 30 days later not a peep… can’t tell you how many times I’ve walked right past this location and refused to walk in… horrible service! I’m unsubscribing from emails and deleting the app from my phone.

Acai berry banana granola… fresh fruit and granola and whats like a healthy ice cream for breakfast or anytime! I have this as a meal and its like I am eating dessert because it is so delish! When you walk in to the fresh smell you feel healthier already! The people are very nice and work quickly to get you rung up and out the door. Great product at a great price!

The juice products here are great. Overpriced, but I can live with that. The issue I have is that this place is understaffed. It takes about 15 minutes every time I go. I feel bad for the people working there because I know it’s not their fault. I would visit way more but I just don’t have the time. This place has a lot of potential… if they could only staff it correctly…

Best smoothies & acai bowls around! Make sure you have enough time for the items to be made properly (FRESH!!) & if the store’s crowded it might be more than a few minutes.

The dark side of this otherwise great juice bar is that they routinely pull key ingredients from their offerings — permanently and without explanation — and they don’t update their menus accordingly, misleading you into thinking you’ll be getting something you’re not. Case in point: they stopped putting PB drizzle on the PB bowl. The whole *point* of the PB bowl is the drizzle! They’re not just out of stock; they just removed it. Same with the fresh pineapple on the tropical bowl. Again: the fresh pineapple topping was what made it a tropical bowl. There are often frozen chunks of mystery substance — I assume it’s the base and it didn’t get blended properly — in the acai bowls. So, sometimes sloppy and a little disappointing compared to what was offered when they first opened.

Extremely rude staff. Several customers complained and they continuously made each customer feel as though they were an inconvenience

So first off, expect to wait 15 – 20 minutes for your order unless you order a juice. If you order a bowl, they are so stingy with the fruit! I had to ask for more fruit after I pointed out to the employee that there was pretty much NO fruit on top, she didn’t offer to add more. I asked for more strawberries and got maybe 3 tiny more pieces — what a joke

Great people, fun environment! My regular drink is the 32oz toxin flush with ice and pea protein! the wait times can be a bit, but this is health food not fast food! And for a store that just opened, it’s to be expected. I give this place 5 stars, and would recommend it to anyone that likes fresh juice or smoothies!

Always love their acai bowls but just as other Unilocalers mentioned, service is exceptionally SLOW & not friendly. I really hope the owner makes this more service friendly as I had hoped to be a regular but I have to allot 15 – 20 mins per order which is not doable most days.

I’ve been there twice so far. Last time I got the Health Nut, and my 16oz cup was full. Granted, my order took 20 minutes, and I figured it was due to new-​place kinks to work out. So I forgave them, enjoyed my smoothie, which was good. I’m trying to eat healthier, so this seemed like good place to frequent. I just hoped they’d up their customer service, figure out a more productive and efficient way to make their products.
Fast forward to today. I brought in a coupon for a free smoothie, and wanted to try a different smoothie. They sent the coupons in the mailers to promote business, and they ended up getting money from me anyway, because I also bought a gift card for a friend.
Well… I’m not sure if it was the coupon or the employee, but I ordered a 16oz Date Nut, and got more like a… 13oz drink. It wasn’t near as full as the last one I got, the one I *had* paid for.
Maybe this was a «sampler» size.
Overall, I’m just not impressed. I like the health aspect of it (though that too comes off like a trend), but the customer service is off.
I still ended up waiting this time, too.

The wait time was ridiculous. All four girls working there looked miserable.
Clearly they have no system in place. All of the employees kept running back and forth to the back room and crashing into each other while attempting to make smoothies. It was quite the cluster Fugazi!
Our smoothies (when we finally got them!) were nothing special.
I won’t ever go back.

Here on Saturday morning @7:07 waiting until 7:15 and still no one was here. Hours of operations stated on Unilocal,that they open at 7:00AM…

This rating is for the customer service. SLOWEST place ever. They have 1 person making everything and another on the register. Literally 15 minute wait for 1 item… Yes they have an online ordering option, but not for this location.

Yay! Finally! And in Novato too! So close to my house this is now my favorite go to. I wish there were more acai bowls to choose from, but they let you alter ones to fit what you like so that’s great! The juices are yummy and the space is super clean, and open. It actually feels really similar to Pressed stores. So far everything I’ve had is great!

Great addition to Novato! The store is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The menu has a great variety of healthy juices, smoothies and acai bowls. Love the banana/​berry bowl, but really anxious to try the pb bowl (peanut butter)! Download the nekter app, and after your 10^th purchase the 11^th is free! This is a great spot for a healthy lunch, refreshing snack or light dessert! I am a nekter fan!

Awesome service here. People are really friendly and very speedy to get your order ready. All ingredients are fresh or made on the spot.
They have a very wide selection to order from and is a really good alternative to the nearby smoothie competitor.
I recommend checkin this place out.
