Round Table Pizza

My family and I went to the lunch buffet on Monday. We paid a reasonable price and were able to eat variety of pizzas. We commended the manager on duty as the pizzas were coming out in a timely manner-​that was not the case in our previous three visits. I wish we had asked the manager’s name. She had the pulse of the place and was providing excellent service all the way through.

The buffet menu is great; you can get salad and pizza for a reasonable price. The employees here keep the place neat and clean. The buffet offers a good variety of pizza and it is brought from the kitchen quite often so the selection stays fresh.

Normally a decent place for kids to play although the games and vending machines can be a rip off. Pizza and salad bar are nothing special.
They have a short tempered shift manager who was reluctant to charge me the right price for a lunch special after the cashier made an honest mistake. I had a take a full refund and get pizza at Stefano’s next door. Much better pizza and service.

I’ve made the mistake of ordering here twice in the last few months, both times the order took longer than promised and came out burned. Not ideal

My family and I love Round Table Pizza so while on vacation we passed 2 other regular pizza places due to either a dirty restroom or lack of one then came upon this Round Table. We ordered a Maui Zaui pizza with chicken and a King Arthur pizza. After 20 mins they brought us only the King Arthur pizza which was wonderful. After 15 more mins I asked the status of the second pizza and they said they misunderstood me and didn’t make it. So I ordered it again with chicken. It was brought to us but after eating a few slices I noticed there wasn’t any chicken on it. I informed them and they said sorry and I said ok. I was on vacation and we had hiked about 10 miles at the John Muir area up the freeway and I was too tired to make demands. At the same time the workers could’ve been aggressive and offered some type of compensation since it was the 2^nd mistake.
Very nice clean place but read your receipt and make sure they don’t cheat you on your toppings. 3 stars only because the place was clean and the King Arthur was great.
Hope they get their act together and practice what they do best, making a better pizza than others as they sure charge for it.

Super friendly staff. Lot’s of space. It seems like a good place to bring kids to. It does tend to get really noisy as a result though.
Pizza is definitely above average. I was in California for the winter and the pizza was a welcome change from the usual, exaggerated NY style pizzas that you get here on the east coast.
My Aunt swears by it, apparently she’s been a loyal customer for ages. Good enough for me.

Warning!!! This was the worst pizza I ever ate. Unbelievably late. Unbelievably bad.

I haven’t been in this place for over a couple of years and now I remember why I stopped coming here., there are about 6 customer and 12 employees yet we still get dirty plates and poor service.

This is a typical round table. It was clean, for a round table. The children’s play area is awesome. Especially if you have ever been out to dinner with a kid and you wish they could just run around while you eat your food. Plenty of big flat screen tv’s, playing the current seasons sports games. I would highly recommend this place to families with kids. Get a pizza, a pitcher of beer and let your kid buy cheap toys from game machines with your hard earned money!

To start, the only reason this is getting above a 1 star is because they have the friendliest and most helpful staff. I absolutely LOVE everyone who works there. Unfortunately that does NOT make up for the incredible dirtiness of the ENTIRE place. The carpets have a lingering funk that attacks the nostrils like Solange in an elevator, not that great when you’re trying to eat. I have a little one and part of the attraction to the place is that it has a play area… however I can’t allow him to play in tubes that have been filled with human poop and very crudely cleaned. You heard me right folks! Poop! He wouldn’t go through one of the tunnels and because he’s non verbal I went to go see why. I crawled in and was greeted with smears of poop everywhere, the worst part… It had obviously been there for a loooong time. I removed him from the tubes, told the staff who IMMEDIATELY went to rectify the situation, as previously stated, super friendly and helpful. However when I was in a pinch a few weeks later I ended up here again, crawled through the tubes to ensure that there was no poop, to my surprise the original incident had barely been cleaned and there was MORE POOP in another tube… HOW?! There’s a section roped off because it’s broken but kids have ripped through it and play in it anyways… It’s a small box that hovers and teeters above the ground so precariously that every time a kid crawls in it looks like it’s about to plummet. This whole play area is FILTHY and terrifying. It’s very obvious that it does not get cleaned which is disappointing because we would actually come in again, but I can’t excuse the poop tubes twice. I’m the parent of a hyperactive 4 year old boy, so I’m no stranger to dirty, and honestly I expect there to be dirt and grime at a kids play place! But the sewer pipes that are those tubes contain enough bacteria to keep a lab tech busy for a life time.

The main reason for the 2 star rating is the atmosphere.
–Staff is very friendly and attentive– 5 stars
–food is very good and fresh tasting– 4 stars
–service is prompt, helpful, kind, enjoyable –5 stars
— the atmosphere is very dark, a strain on the eye, and is very old. It’s also always freezing in here. The best thing I can compare the restaurant atmosphere to is a morgue, or a bomb shelter.
They really need to renovate this place. I understand it is medieval themed, but I think this has been taken way too far. They should put in new carpets or linoleum or tile or hardwood, and put in lights so I can see what it is that I’m eating.

This place isn’t necessarily dirty. It just needs a make over or at the very least have the carpet ripped up and thrown in a wood chipper and then burned. But the food seems freshly prepared and cooked to order. Staff seem very friendly and helpful. In my opinion it’s just as good as any other pizza place;) I really don’t know why you marin snoots cry over everything and 1 star every place that doesn’t put a bib on you and wipe your face after eating.

I’m not a huge pizza fan but they have decent pizza and an ok salad bar. Good location with lots of parking. Place needs to be updated… def feels a little grimy. We even saw a stray cat just wandering inside and even came up to us. Kinda shocking but we laughed, took a few pictures and left. We might come back, as long as cats aren’t on the menu lol

DO NOT EAT HERE! Garbage was piled in every crevice of this restaurant! Literally, piles in the corners by the bathrooms, to the dining area, to the children’s play area. We complained to a manager about the situation and they said «We’re short on staff, nothing we can do about it.» We had called after we left the horrible situation and as we proceeded inside to grab something we forgot there, the young lady who was «cleaning» was sitting on her phone texting. I have never felt so disgusted in my life, someone needs to call health and safety here! We couldn’t even sit at a table because not one had been cleared and there was only a few people in the restaurant! Who is in charge here?!

I love RT in Oregon but after reading the reviews I didn’t want to torture myself by going there and enduring the «grungy» environment and screening children so we ordered it to be delivered…1.5 hours later… stale, cold pizza! Ewe!

Kind of high on prices but good pizza

When did this turn in to Chuck E Cheese? The pizza is fine. However, eating there has major issues. 1) It feels unclean. 2) I am all for kids having fun. That’s why this place had a kids play area. But this time? Kids chasing each other in circles and screaming through the dining room and nobody stopping it. What are parents thinking to allow their children to run and scream and squeal all throughout a restaurant? Keep that behavior in the play room or the party rooms and that’s totally fine and expected. Through the entire restaurant? Give me a break! And I have a 6 year old son! I had to tell him that it was unacceptable behavior.
I am never going back. Ever.

This location and I have broken up. Like Taylor Swift, we aren’t getting back together again. Here is the thing, the pizza is good. We like Round Table pizza and theirs is standard Round Table pizza. We don’t eat in the restaurant at all, but yeah, it is dated and too big for the amount of business they do, so they can’t keep pristine. It is also a very dark space so it feels dingier than it is. But my problem is delivery. On occasion I have the ability to order a pizza and then leave 20 minutes later to pick it up, but most of the time when we want pizza, we order delivery. When you order delivery from this location, they tell you 45 minutes. In the four years we have ordered occasional delivery from here, it has never taken less than an hour. Tonight it was an hour and a half. Fine, you come to expect a late pizza, and it is the price I pay for not being able to run 1.5 miles down the road to pick it up. But an hour and a half? So when the pizza came I asked to make sure it was still hot, and said I wasn’t paying for a cold pizza. Well, I got nothing but attitude from the delivery driver. After a back and forth that ended with him telling me that he was probably way more frustrated than I was, and handing me the wrong pizza to check, I told him to keep the pizza, I didn’t want it.
I called the manager, Ed, and he offered a free pizza, but a couple of years back we had horrible delivery service and I called to complain and they sent the coupon for a free pizza. Obviously the calls don’t work. Just look at the reviews on this page, a large number of them are about poor delivery service. So we are done, we will get our pizza elsewhere from now on. They need to fix their delivery system, hire more drivers or restrict their delivery location, or something. Because right now, it is probably costing them more than it is making them.

After reading these reviews I wonder if I am going to the same place or if I am just crazy.
My experiences there have been much different. Now first off I don’t go there because they have 5 star pizza but I do go there to let my 4 kids go running around and for me to take a break.
They have been VERY accommodating to us for a club event. Letting us use the private room at no cost as long as we buy stuff. That alone is very nice.
Pros:
The pizza is pretty good, at least all the pizza that I have had.
Service has always been friendly to me.
Kids play area is great for kids of all ages to run around and be crazy.
There is nothing else like this but maybe Cal-​Star gym to take the kids on a Friday or Sat night.
They accommodate a club event on a monthly basis for us.
Cons:
Video games are beyond outdated, they are archaic.
Breadsticks aren’t that great.
Salad bar is kind of yucky.
Not always a super clean place, like I wouldn’t want to take my shoes off though my kids do.
Pizza does seem a bit over priced for what it is but much cheaper then a babysitter.
Overall:
I keep going back and don’t have any major problems with the place. My kids fricking love it there and can’t wait to play on the jungle gym thing. Pizza is decent enough.
