How to order from Cabrina’s: 1.pick up menu 2.throw it in the garbage 3. Order from ANY of the other 50 pizzerias in nutley. I feel like I keep ordering from here because it is 12 feet away from my house… Anyway, tonight was the great shrimp scampi tragedy of ’16. Driving home from work, ordered a shrimp scampi dinner. 14 dollars… The girl asks what kind of pasta I would like with it… I chose linguine. picked it up and brought it home. I open up the containers. one has 4 small shrimp in scampi sauce. i couldnt even bite through the shrimp. It was as if they were reheated in a microwave. The other container had linguini with marinara.(Who eats shrimp scampi over linguine with marinara???) I called my crazy italian mother in law just to make sure I wasn’t losing it… I wasnt… I call the restaurant. They apologized and said their«DEFAULT pasta sauce is marinara regardless of the entrée. 4 small pieces of shrimp is an entrée? Whatever. They said, «we will bring over linguine with scampi sauce BUT we WILLNOT be bringing over shrimp». That’s OK. I wasn’t demanding more shrimp… just felt a little ripped off. So they send over new linguine. This time dry pasta with sliced garlic cloves. We open up the tin in front of the delivery boy and laugh. We told him the story. He laughs too. And apologizes… it’s not his fault. We told him to let the restaurant know they messed up again but we are giving up. They called AGAIN. Apologized and said they can’t figure out what we want. We said, just shrimp scampi in SCAMPI sauce OVER linguine. We thanked them for their attempts and told them we are done with the ordeal. Their pizza is also pretty terrible. Always under cooked and/or soggy. Their Sicilian is better than their classic pie.

Live in Belleville and usually order three guys on Franklin, but was visiting a friend and ordered a white pie for pick up at Cabrina’s. Went there, paid for it and then was told that they forgot about it and that it was burnt to a crisp but another would made. Came back a second time and the cheese was as heavy as calzone cheese on each slice… no offer of a refund or better experience next time… apparently my friend has had issues here before so needless to say… neither of us will be back…

This is a hit or miss place. I’ve ordered from there and really been blown away other times I’m left mad at the poor quality(something I would send back at a sit down establishment, yes I’m that guy). This spot is around the corner from my house so I order from here regularly but my biggest qualm with this place is the consistency. I’ve had amazing pizza there and really poor quality pizza, you never know what you’re getting. I believe(I’m no expert) but I believe that the pizza I regard as poor quality, is a pizza that has been sitting out for a while and was reheated(I don’t really know though). Overall I’ve had a number of their entrees and they are solid choices. I haven’t had a bad entrée from there, pizza though ehhh you’re on your own.

I’ll start off by saying that the food is actually pretty decent, when they get it right. The customer service is just horrible. They do not get orders right, or listen to simple directions. Rigatoni with fresh basil, mushrooms, hot peppers and black olives in a plum tomato sauce. That’s what we ordered and it’s on the physical menu. Instead we get a dish with capers and fish in it, and don’t realize til a few bites in. Unacceptable. We’ve also asked them to call me when they arrive with our order instead of ringing the door bell. Not only did they not do that, but they rang my 90 year old neighbors door bell and knocked on the door very loudly. I’m done with this place, it’s not worth the aggravation.

Terrible customer service and overpriced. The staff was rude and condescending over the phone. Delivery took almost 2 hours for lunch. Once the food was finally delivered, a customer dropped off our order because the delivery person was MIA. We have frequented this place over the years but never again.

Took 50 mins to deliver. Freezer mozzarella sticks, bland tortellini in which a hair was found, and no bread or salad that was supposed to come with our meals. Super disappointed seeing as how the reviews were so positive :(

This has honestly become one of my favorite takeout/delivery places recently. I must say that I only tried them due to the multiple positive reviews. The chicken parm in vodka sauce is delicious. Well balanced, good amount of cheese, and most importantly, consistently good. The cheesy garlic bread is good, the buffalo wings were only OK, and the pizza is decent. I wouldn’t say that the Chicken parm dinner($ 13.50) is cheap, but I enjoy ordering it when I can’t think of what to make for dinner, and my kids love it.

A hidden and delicious eatery! Classic Italian fair… Their Talapia over Linguini dish is off the roof! My wife often drives 15 minutes and go out of her way to get lunch from there! Pizza is out of this world and their staff is warm, nice and the service is great. Try their seafood salad or meat balls… Mamamiaaaaaaaaa!!! Great menue –I hope one day they will expand and includes more seating. Love this place & I highly recommend it.

I took a star away only because they don’t have any dishes that are shockingly different or unusually good. It’s not there fault it’s mine, I am a foodie with a high bar. That aside, the parms are made to order on bread that is super fresh. The pasta dishes are lovingly made with great flavor. Pizza is crispy and delicious. The rest of the menu is a laundry list of Jersey Italian classics.

If I’m feeling Italian and I don’t want to get off of my lazy ass(NOT to be associated together!), I will call Cabrina’s. I’ve NEVER gone wrong with ANY of their pasta dishes. At a little more than $ 10 for each of those dishes, you can DEFINITELY feed you mom, your dad, yourself, and possibly your pet dog without feeling starved. You are more than welcome to eat here, but they only have two small tables. The food at Cabrina’s is meant to be ordered and taken out to eat in the comfort of your own home. NB: If you order for delivery, you will always get sliced bread and salad with a balsamic vinegrette. YUM!
