Business is now closed! Drove by yesterday and saw that the business had a for lease sign in window.

How do I start? We showed up at 7:37. for dinner and were asked if we were here for the band? I said in the dining room? Yes the band was in the dining room! What time does the band start 7:30…I guess they were late. Reluctantly we stayed. I have to give a disclaimer I have ate here before when they opened. We ordered our food and started to wonder when our food never came. Long story short the waitress quit and didn’t tell anyone! This time we had a great waitress! Very attentive! Our food was great. While we were finishing our meal another waitress decided to rant about her table. We could hear her yelling about the Fing b$&!? that she was waiting on. Going on about how she wanted lemons in her water? She kept cussing and saying she was going to quit! It was a very uncomfortable situation! The band finally started after 8:30. It was rough! Wow! I am glad my meal is over! At one point we were wondering if we were on a reality show for a restaurant make over! Sad the environment was the way it was because the food was great. Unfortunately, we will not return because of the environment!

My second time here. Service, in the bar area, was excellent. We had pizza, crab cakes, and salad, and it was all very good. Great specials during local sports broadcasts.

I had a salad and Clam Chowder. I was expecting the wonderful Rizzo Clam Chowder. But what I received was next to awful, in my opinion. Not sure what spices were used but it stayed with me all day. The service however, was terrific!

Is it Italian? Is it American ? I’ll tell you what it’s not… it’s not good. Italian salad is overloaded with a vinaigrette dressing that they describe as a creamy italian. Chicken Spiedini is 6 or 7 small pieces of bite size chicken with a butter garlic sauce,(no olive oil), that was overcooked. As any cook would or should know when you cut pieces of chicken really small it will sure enough be overcooked and dry. I got the white cavatelli side that was obviously a pre-made white sauce. To top if off it cost $ 17.00 By the way if you want a good spiedini, Donatelli’s in Lake St. Louis is worlds above this one. Thin crust pizza served burnt. When we asked that it be recooked we were told, «Provel cheese burns. Would you rather have mozzarella ?» I’m 46 and have lived in St. Louis my whole life. I have eaten way to many provel cheese pizzas. This one was burnt. They did recook it however, it was loaded with sauce and although I saw what appeared to be oregano on top, it was tasteless. We didn’t eat much and were still starving so, we went to Brass Rail. With that said Beseda needs to stick to flooring because this restaurant goes on my never go back list.

Tried it on Monday, was very disappointed, though the service was adequate the menu was outdated and lacking any real depth. We ordered a pizza and an appetizer since we could not decide on any other item that«looked good». The pretzel bites tasted frozen, deep fried yet still soggy, the cheese dip tasted like it was out of a nacho cheeze can. The pizza was not much better, toppings were of low quality, crust thin and burnt, and the sauce was awful for a restaurant that serves Italian food. No flavor, first time in my life I had to salt a pizza. Had high hopes for the place we need more family restaurants in O Fallon. Won’t be back.

I miss Rizzo’s. This new place is overpriced for what you get. The chicken Marsala was good but the salad and pasta was not. The server sat a very hot plate down in front of a 5 year old and didn’t say it was hot or anything. I won’t be going back!
