My boyfriend’s puppy ate the Christmas tree while he was at work so back to the store we went to get a new tree. They still had a big selection of trees. I haven’t been to a kmart in awhile but it looked like they had some cute clothes there. I might need to go back.

I don’t know how this store is allowed to stay open. This is the WORST Kmart that I have ever been. The cashiers can be very rude. The management, not much better. Police are there often due to the clientele. Watch out!!!

i have yet to go in this location but I will say after having a long conversation with the manager over the stores policies I am sold that this will be the kmart I shop at over the one in Tinley! I would rather travel to a store that values their customers. The manager I spoke to was named Marylin. I suggest if you have any issues speaking directly to her :)

What a joke this establishment is. Not sure what happened to KMart over the years, but this place has gone downhill, and fast. I had my baby shower back in May of 2013. Some of you may know that not everyone gives a gift receipt with the items they give you as a gift. Although I was not registered here, I received some very nice things from KMart, but also a few duplicates. They had tags on them that clearly stated that they were from KMart. All I wanted was to bring back what I had received, and either get something of equal or lesser value, or get some formula instead, or other baby items. I was not looking to scam, receive cash, or try to pull one over on them. I was honest, and told the clerk at the service desk my situation. Before I could even finish, she rudely interrupted me and said: «SORRYMAM, but no receipt means we can’t take it back.» I get that this is store policy, but I was just wanting her to hear me out. All I wanted was to get something similar in price. So, now the manager comes out. I cannot remember his name, but again, another one who was not very accommodating. I’m not sure if they had lots of scamming at this store, theft, shoplifting or whatever, but I even had my mom there to vouch for me as to what I was explaining. These two just kept talking to me as if I were an idiot. Is this how they conduct business? I even went home and wrote corporate, with no reply of course. I can honestly see why this company is going downhill, and why it gets so many negative reviews. Now as a result, I am stuck with items that I cannot use, which I will probably end up re-gifting. Thank you for nothing, KMart. When your doors finally close, I will not miss you one bit. It’s a shame because I used to go here to get things that I needed for the house, personal items, clothes and so forth. I will never step foot in here again.

I have gone to this location every now and then if I was in the area, but I found that this store seems to attract some of the most unsavory customers. They come into the store acting loud and ignorant and today I saw they had some promotion going on where they gave away small bags of cotton candy and the kids didnt need it half of them were seriously overweight. Then you have the idiot parents who permit their kids to cry and scream excessively throughout the store and in the checkout line when they don’t get their way. Then you got indecisive noobs who tie up the line and all of a sudden need to go back for an item when other customers are done with their shopping. They also have an issue with cleanliness in terms of their bathrooms because the bathroom smelled bad and needed major attention since people hovered over the toilets and missed the bowl instead of aiming for the target., tissue strewn all over the floor, broken floor tiles and just smelly. The washroom needed a serious remodeling to bring it up to standards since the stalls should have been redesigned for ADA compliance. I found all that I needed, yet stopping into the electronics department yielded me a different opinion because if they’re planning to sell tvs they needed to keep the floor models on display instead of shelves with wires hanging out of it because they sold them to customers when the term FLOORMODEL means they’re not for sale and to give customers a look at the product they’re about to buy. It’s an ok shopping trip to make, but I would have settled for shopping at Target instead if a store can’t maintain cleanliness and make it look nice. One thing that KMart has that I didnt see in any other store is free internet access where if you come to shop and need a break you can check your email while your family shops which is pretty cool to give those internet geeks something to do for an hour or so. You can’t beat KMart since they merged with Sears so your rewards card works not only at KMart, but at Sears too.

I liked shopping at this Kmart, because usually there is nobody in there. I don’t like crowds. This Kmart used to be kind of depressing and messy, but the last time I was there, employees were cleaning the shelves. And the workers I passed in the store actually made eye contact and smiled and said hello! The store was not as messy and there were plenty of workers around straightening up. Big change at this Kmart. I like Target, but sometimes Kmart is just easier when you know what you need to buy. I was impressed with the new attitude at this Kmart. I do know that the village of Oak Lawn is trying to run Kmart out of the location to build a lifestyle shopping center. They say the store is ‘blighted’. But it seems as if they are trying hard to improve.
