My experience at this Friday’s has been just fine. I don’t know what’s up with the very low rating. Maybe people are expecting fine dining? Anyway, I’ve been here multiple times and the food has been decent and the service has been decent. My most recent experience involved sitting at the bar to eat, since it was so crowded and such a long wait for a table. First of all, the bar is very comfortable to sit at. The seats are great. The drinks aren’t strong, but they taste fine and aren’t expensive. Our service at the bar was quick and pleasant. Our food arrives at our table quickly. I thought that it tasted fine and is what you expect from a Friday’s. If I am craving something with Jack Daniels sauce, I’m gonna come here. There is no shame in that.

Walked into the place looked clean but you get that greasy dirty feeling when sitting. Ordered a blue moon with a frosted glass and girlfriend ordered a water with a appetizer. Our waitress Regine was clueless. Appetizers came out before my drink(which glass wasn’t frosted) no silverware or plates even. Had to flag down someone else to get utensils. Ordered jack Daniel ribs with shrimp which was mediocre at best. Girlfriend had jack Daniels sliders with American cheese. Her food came out with provolone melted onto it. My ribs we’re done before her food even came back out. Regine was by far the worst server I have ever seen. Cops guarding the door? I will never be going back again.

I visited this Fridays for the unlimited apps that were advertised on the Fridays website, on the radio, and television. I was told that this Fridays is a franchise, and is not participating in that promotion. I spoke with the manager about my concerns, and he said there was nothing he could do. This is very poor customer service. I asked if there was anything else he could offer as a special, and he said no. I have been to this Fridays many times, and the whole vibration of the restaurant has changed from the person who met me at the door to seat me to the manager. I will definitely not be returning to this establishment because of the poor customer service i received tonight.

Our experience here was Great. Our waitress Patti was Awesome. Mixed Drinks from bar were perfect not too strong or watered down. Food was fast, delicious and exactly as ordered. We will definitely return. No Complaints!!!

Yesterday was my 2nd time dining here, I like TGI Friday’s because the food is pretty good with taste and price, a good atmosphere to bring friends and family for lunch and dinner. This particular night, the food was off I ordered the Jack Daniel’s Rib Eye medium with shrimp with mac n cheese and mashed potatoes, my friend who treated me to dinner had the sizzling chicken with shrimp. We had peach mango slushies, and an appetizer. We were celebrating my birthday, and the food was slightly below average. Our server was somewhat inattentive and tried to take shortcuts with out service but apologized at the end. — we had our drinks brought to us in dirty glasses(server tried to get us to just wipe off stuck on food on the glass-unacceptable). — my rib eye arrived warm almost cold, not medium but well done, no shrimp, mashed potatoes warm/cold not hot, mac n cheese cold cheese solid not melted. — my friend’s sizzling chicken did not«sizzle» it was a slice of unmelted cheese on there! — It was much more wrong but I try not to complain too much even though I am spending my hard earned money here I expect good service and hot food. We told the server and spoke with the manager who compensated for the sub par dining experience, our food that came back from the kitchen was a little bit better but I think it was microwaved but we were so hungry we ate it anyway. I will try to give this location another try I just hope they give their kitchen/server staff a very good in-service on hot food and cleanliness and customer service.

I had a group of 20 and we wanted to eat dinner at TGIFridays. We called ahead to make sure the restaurant could accommodate our large party. They assured us they could and that they currently had no wait. When we arrived, I went in to let them know we were ready to be seated. The hostess then informed us that we couldn’t all be seated together because they only seated parties of 10! This was not told to us over the phone! We noticed a section of the restaurant that was completely empty and we asked to be seated there and they said it wasn’t open. I thought this was extremely rude and there was no reason for them not to open up the section and serve us! They lost a lot of money by turning us away.

So Friday’s is usually good but their going downhill fast. Tell me why we sat down at a booth and it reeked of Dolphin pee and putrid stank. Therefore we moved to a different booth which was sticky and had crumbs on the seat. I ordered the Jack Daniel’s burger which is always good, and the fam got the shrimp with fries. My bro said the fries had no flavor. We also ordered the endless apps of boneless chicken, which the waitress told us we cannot share… Really who says that. So pretty much every time we ordered a new flavor they just sparsely poured a new sauce on it. Some sauces were too salty others just nasty but I washed it down with my yummy strawberry lemonade. I don’t know what Friday’s problem is but they are starting to get very unenjoyable.

Nothing but GREAT service from the time I got there. Our server, Joe was awesome. He was polite and friendly and everytime he came to our booth he had a smile. He’s a bartender there and recommended the Blueberry Pom Long Island Iced Tea, which was PHENOMENAL. If you ever go to TGI Fridays in Oak Lawn, ask for Joe. He’s off on Wednesday and Sunday.

My husband & I sat in the bar area again for dinner. The food was good & waiter was good until… Our waiter stacked two tables worth of dirty half eaten plates of food on our table to re-organize it so he could carry it all at once. It was gross, I don’t want to see strangers’ half eaten potatoes skins, etc. It was two tables of 4 that were on either side of us, lucky me, I got a front row view of what they ate. It was like 10 plates stacked on our table. Another waiter even came by & asked to help carry all these plates, but our waiter declined. He apologized for using our table, but still it was gross.

It’s «meh». Does not live up to the commercials. Probably the clientele. Or the soiled silverware. Or all the animal slaughter involved in their menu. I don’t know. But I do not wish to return and I would not suggest anyone go there.

This place is so gross. The restaurant smelled, all the tables were dirty, the floors were sticky, the menus they gave us were all ripped up with food stains all over them and we waited 10 mins and nobody waited on us so we got up and left. Never again!

One of their signature drink I only received 3 sips out of. The appetizer was $ 10 and some change is in was maybe two full pieces of back and four small jalapeños. The burger WELL done to the max it was gross. Dumped Jack Daniels sauce all over it thank god. The server was actually taking our order while dropping drinks off at the table next to us. The only reason I gave it two star was for the fries and Jack Daniels sauce. Over all total waste of time and money

Nothing spectacular about this place. Ordered a sirloin steak cooked to medium. It came out well done. Sirloin is already a lean meat… cooking it to well done makes it rubber. The loaded mashed potatoes was just ok and the broccoli tasted like water. The best thing I ordered was the wedge salad. Check was incorrect and the waiter corrected it. He also offered to get me another steak but I said nevermind. He mentioned the kitchen staff hates when food is sent back anyway. Go figure. My friend really likes Friday’s so that’s why I still eat there at times but each time I do, I am reminded why it’s a place I never frequent.

What I will say about this place is that the food is great and there is rarely ever any issues with the food, it’s delicious most of the time. The only problem with it I’d say is that sometimes the burgers are way too dry and hard. They should be tender and juicy… not dry and hard. But what I will say is that the staff here SUCKS. First of all me and my friends rarely ever get a proper greeting… it’s usually just a, ‘How many?’ by someone who isn’t even smiling and looks miserable. It’s actually most of the hostesses that are very rude and cold. I have worked in the food industry and I am a hostess myself at a very nice japanese restaurant in down town La Grange and if I greeted my customers that way I’d be fired on the spot… it’s absolutely ridiculous. The waitresses are nice or the MOST part. Here or there you’ll get a cold, monotone waitress who appears to not care less how your dining experience goes. Another issue that I have is I’m starting to wonder if this place is racist against hiring whites… I’m sorry but it’s literally almost all African Americans… and racism works both ways… Other than that just as the hostesses don’t properly greet you nicely when you walk in, there is rarely a goodbye. I went there today and as me and my friends were walking out we walked past a group of around 3 – 4 waiters/hoestesses and not one bid us a goodbye… CLASSLESSANDUNPROFESSIONAL!!!

Worst Customer Service I went there with my wife for a dinner date. I have been a customer of Fridays for at least 15 years. This was horrible. First the server shorted the tall beer drinks. I let it go asked her on the next to make sure to fill properly. She did. My wife decided on a mix drink instead of anther beer. We ordered food and appetizers. Food was good but when she cleaned up the table the server broke the glass to my wife’s drink. I asked to not only replace the drink my wife was drinking as she had literally just got it and since glass flew I asked to replace my tall beer. She came back with my wife drink and a short beer as my replacement. Personally out of courtesy I didn’t send the first 2 tall beers back even though they were both short about 5oz each. I got insulted when she cam back with a short beer. Normally every time we go we spend close to $ 100 and certain occasions around $ 150 between my wife and I. I decided the night was over asked for a manager which I explained the situation and he gave me a $ 3 discount off a tall beer… Horrible experience and when I saw the discount I asked to speak with him again I called him a Dick for being that way… He called on a off duty cop whom I guess is security there the manager reneged on a $ 3 discount and had us escorted out after we paid the full bill. Seriously since when are off duty police officers security at Fridays? This is insane!!! I posted a video on youtube

I would NEVER step foot in this place again, Thanks to JOEL… He is the WORST manager I ever came in contact with… I have never felt so DISRESPECTED. I called and complained to corporate, a week later still no one called I called a second time FINALLY someone called back, at the end of the call I felt as if they didn’t care that JOEL misrepresented them and it didn’t matter what I said they were gonna believe their employee… Friday’s MUST do better with who they have represent them… JOEL definitely left a BAD taste in my mouth…

General management or corporate need to revamp this restaurant. As soon as we walked in, we were somewhat greeted by two hosts. They looked bored, didn’t smile or said welcome. Waiting time was reasonable considering how busy it was on a Saturday night(25 minute wait). When we were seated, the female host took us to the table and walked off without a word to us. Our server was A-OK, nothing to rave about. He could have been better. He never smiled, and never said thank you or have a great night after picking up our bill. At least he managed to get our order correctly. Their chicken tenders were delicious, but my husband’s food was not. Our server gave him a glass of bubbly Oktoberfest, which he must have gotten the last of the keg. Beer should not look like that, and at least change out the keg before giving someone a glass of Sam Adams. My husband received his food cold. Our buddy’s salad didn’t have dressing so he had to ask for a cup of it. Management needs to train their servers on how to provide great service, from as soon as you walk in to the moment you leave. I’ve been at other restaurants with amazing service and food, this one can not compare. I don’t plan to return, and now I know why I stopped eating at restaurants similar to this.

Walking in I checked their Unilocal review and noticed the two stars. I’m not surprised! We walked in and there was no hostess to be seen. We stood around awkwardly for a few minutes till she showed up. We got a table in the bar right away. It took awhile for our waitress to show up and even longer to get our drinks. I ordered the skinny blackberry margarita and it was strong! I had to mix it with my water just to be able to drink it. The food was ok, but nothing special. Unless we have a coupon I probably won’t be back.
