I have been coming here for years. Family friendly, quality food, and very friendly service. The Windows offer a nice view to Deep Creek Lake. Pizza is the specialty here and always good with fresh toppings and without too much oil. Have not ventured too far from the pizzas, but I just had a calzone that was excellent. Very fresh ricotta and balanced spicing; the dough was expertly crafted and baked. This is an easy place to enjoy a casual meal with friends and family. To get five stars: offer draft beer and better bottled beer and wine choices.

Not to most amazing pizza I’ve ever had, but they had great service, were quick, clean, and seemed to use quality ingredients. We got the small Ulti-Meat, a pick your own, the sausage bites and the garlic bread. I would pass on both appetizers again. It may have been the takeout, but the garlic bread was soggy and the sausage bites bland. I just don’t know who wants to eat an entire app of just sausage? Seems excessive to me. The pizza was much more tasty, though the dough was a little lacking. The toppings were plentiful and fresh though. A great option for an easy meal at Deep Creek!

I love this place. The Italian Roll is an excellent choice. It’s really tasty. I enjoy their pizzas as well. One slice and you are full.

I moved to Nashville in the past few years, and I have dreams about Brenda’s pizza. It is that good. The pizza is huge! Love the New York style. I have tried the antipasta salad as well. It was great! The desserts are amazing too. One of my favorite pizzas ever!

Always get their pizza to go. Make sure you order ahead of time during the Summer and Holiday weekends. Their Super-Sized pizza is immense. Find that the boxes for this pizza are too thin though and difficult to carry. Park in the back so you do not need to walk up and down steep stairs while balancing pizza boxes. Note — Brenda’s does not sell chicken wings. Would be a great addition to their menu.

We wanted to stay at home and watch Ninja Warrior, but also wanted a good steak. So we decided on Brenda’s steak pizza and strawberry spinach salad. Holy moly! We got one hell of a deal. We got the 16 inch and it was a ton of food! This pizza was loaded with thick chunks of flavorful sirloin that would make you slap ya daddy! There were no corners cut on this pizza. After one slice I was full, but made a double play on a second slice. The salads were loaded with strawberries, bacon, and fresh spinach! You won’t be disappointed. My only suggestion is to wood fire the pizza so the center of the dough isn’t soft. With the toppings being so thick and juicy It was a little softer than I like, which would have otherwise gotten 5 starz

We stopped by Brenda’s for lunch yesterday. We shared a the ultra meat pizza, a chicken calzone and Cobb salad. The salad had an under ripe avacado. Everything else was very good. The wait staff was friendly and made sure we sis not run out of beverage. Overall, a great experience!

Skip it unless you are in it for mediocre pizza and great view. Do not order the salads… looked like they had emptied week old bags of salad on our plates. Eggplant hero was all bread. Sausage smackers were drowned in pre made bottled bbq sauce. I could go on but why bother. Bright spot was cheerful server.

Very very good pizza! Came here sluggishly after a loong night seeking good pizza! Boy was it delicious! We got the pizza and the ziti– it was pricey but very tasty and the portions were more Han generous! Our waitress was great as well she was always checking up on us! The Greek pizza was pretty good– but next time I want something a little more Italian! Flavors and topping were perfect though! Hit the spot! Also the rolls were wonderfully fluffy and the salad tasted perfect due to the croutons which just tasted like fresh garlic bread dried over night. Point being I would come back every time I came to deep creek good service and great food are worth the price! Will return!

In some ways this actually resembles New York style pizza. And it’s absolutely tasty stuff. The sauce and cheese are flavorful and applied in proper proportion to fall squarely within range of the style. Where it falls down is the crust. Part of the issue is trying to make a signature pie as large as the abundanza. It’s comically large, and that’s a lot of fun. But the crust suffers from being doughy. There are also the crosshatches of a pizza screen evident on the bottom crust. For a pie this big, I can’t fault a shop for using whatever devices necessary to make the feat technically possible. But it does prevent the bottom from getting proper color or any notes of char. We also went for a chicken fajita pie. It was totally tasty, but like most topping driven pies comes out more as stuff on bread than something resembling what I think of as pizza. I’d totally come back here again. They make flavorful pizzas, which may not rise up to glorious heights, but it’s totally acceptable for a casual dinner with friends and family. It’s also better pizza than I’ve been able to find anywhere in central Pennsylvania. And for that, I’m tempted to give Brenda’s a fourth bonus star. But I’m hoping the place will earn it with future visits as I try more of their menu.

One of my earliest memories was sitting in a highchair, staring across what seemed to me like a sea of steamy, delicious pizza at Dominic’s(the predecessor to what is known today as «Brenda’s.) So my love of Brenda’s is pretty deeply rooted. I worked there a few summers and loved it even more. I can personally attest to the fact that Brenda uses the highest quality ingredients and prepares them with great skill and care(and is a great boss!) I try to get there at least once whenever I go home to Garrett County to visit my parents. I go for the food and the people, but I can also recommend the view and WiFi and other things visitors might be looking for. In my opinion, it’s superior to the other big chain restuarants on the lake.(Another good locally-owned place to check out is Ace’s Run, if you’re looking for great food that’s a bit more formal than Brenda’s.)

Very good pizza! And apple crostada was amazing!!! Both pizza and apple crostada were served in large portions! Customer service was wonderful! They are patient when you are trying to figure out what you would like to order. I got the Shrimp Scampi pizza. I was hesitant at first because I thought it wouldn’t be good but to me surprise it was superb! I sat by the window my first visit and you get a wonder view of Deep Creek lake! Especially in the late winter! Second time I sat at a much larger group table and the ambiance was just good! The music they play is very tasteful! You get mix of old songs and a sorting of some of today’s tasteful songs! Over all amazing food! Amazing seating! Amazing customer service! Amazing music! And this restraint is her family friendly

Excellent service(Rachel) of good Italian food and desserts. First visit on a Friday night on the 3rd day in spring — place was packed but we were greeted warmly and seated quickly. Heather, great saleswoman at the outdoor sports shop downstairs had recommended Brenda’s and the baked ziti. The ziti was fantastic — big portion, consider splitting. Pizzas all looked awesome(esp. the huge 26″ for $ 26), as did the lasagna and calzone our booth buddies enjoyed. We were tempted by the many chocolate desserts but were happy with the cannoli(great tasting but could use more texture on the filling). All-in-all we were very satisfied.

Wonderful, friendly and helpful! We did a cater out job with them, strictly by email and everything was perfect! Everyone said it was the best chicken piccata they’ve ever had. Didn’t forget a thing! Even included all the plates, utensils etc. Highly recommend for large families that don’t want to wait for a table with kids or are on a tight budget as you do not have to pay for drinks, alcohol or tip if you take food home to eat. Thank you for making our celebration dinner a success!

Don’t expect good pizza in small towns like this so when I walked in and saw all the Yankees memorabilia I thought there was a chance. As a Jerseyan I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Minor critique: the crust was slightly doughy. White pizza was awesomely garlicky. Hawaiian was great. Maybe Brenda’s benefits from low expectations, but it far exceeded them.

My family has been coming to Brenda’s for as long as I can remember, and it has never failed us! I’ve only had pizza and salad here — but hey, you’re at Brenda’s Pizzeria. Get pizza or a calzone/stromboli. My dad says the pasta is good too, but I would never think to get anything but the pizza because it’s so good! Well, the house salad is a great starter to share. But besides that, I only ever get pizza. Our go-to’s for many years were the house calzone, white pizza, or the traditional red with pepperoni. All are winners. A few years down the line I found out I’m allergic to gluten AND dairy. And then Brenda’s comes out with a GLUTENFREEPIZZACRUST. A really good one, at that. I’ve had a fair few bad GF pizzas, and even tried to make my own. Nothing holds to this. The only other GF crust I’ve ever had that comes close is from Picazzo’s in Sedona, Arizona. Our family just got back from Italy too, and even the homemade gluten free crusts I had there weren’t this good — props to Brenda’s! New favorite: GF white thin-crust pizza with ricotta, sausage, onions, and basil.
