I have no idea how this place is always so crowded? Long wait, terrible service and no one I went with liked the food?

The service was really great which warrants the 5 star review. I ordered pizza with eggplant, they mistakenly made it with artichoke hearts instead. To remedy the problem they A. did not charge me for the pizza and B. made me a new pizza, which they also did not charge me for. I will go back.

Tonight we have a bad waiter.(Zakary]. It’s not that he was bad person, not cut out for waiting on people. We were rushed to order. We never order right away. We ordered an appetizer, and drinks then waited ten minutes for him to come back. He had drinks and appetizer. My wife got soup and it was twenty minutes from when it was done before the waiter came back with food. Now we ordered a stout burger and brandy peppercorn sirloin tips(done medium rare). So about forty minutes into the experience, our entrees arrive. My first beer was done with the soup. So I waited for another beer, and ketchup for said burger and fries. At least the food didn’t burn my mouth as it had time to cool. All that aside, the food was really good. The stout burger has onions braised in Guinness stout. The white cheddar tastes awesome with it. Fries are seasoned well. The brandy peppercorn sirloin tips is really good meal. Lots of pasta, a ton of mushrooms, plenty of meat and sauce. It’s not regular menu item, so try it if it’s there. I would normal rate this lower but I had such a good experience first time. And the food was well done. I can’t kill waiter for poor cook, nor kill cook for poor waiter

The food here has always been reliable and great on a winter ski trip. I was there today to get pizza and watch college basketball. We were watching the Duke/Louisville game on one TV and the hockey game on the other. The bartender changed the channel and we asked a gentleman(I use that very loosely) who seemed to be in charge if we could have one TV on the basketball and one on hockey and he was extremely rude and disrespectful. I’m assuming he was the manager because everyone looked to him as the boss. I wanted to get his name and contact Uno’s afterwards, but I didn’t want to make a stink in front of my son. Thanks for spoiling what would have been a nice outing with my son at Uno’s. I may be forced to go back there given there aren’t many options, but I’d definitely look for something else before going there. I would suggest Uno’s think about the manager’s they have representing the Uno’s name. I would also suggest people go to Mountain State Brewery for a nice evening, good staff and plenty of TV’s for sports.

Had the shrimp scampi. Beware!!! Tails were left on shrimp, no taste, and sick off so much butter. Messy trying to eat shrimp, having to pull tails off first. Talked to manager and he said maybe they were just too busy to do it. I argued they should have prepped them that way. He didn’t care at all, proceeded to just walk away. Couldn’t even get a refill on coffee.

Stopped in for dinner after a great day at Whisp. Service was fast and the food overall was very good. I had the BBQ burger. It was delicious. My daughter had the kids steak and fry dinner. The steak was cooked wonderful and to be honest I seen nothing about it that made it a kids meal. Steak was tender and nice size. I might even get the kids steak meal next time.

If I could leave no stars I would. We are new to deep creek and we came here as first time residents. The hostess\manager ignored us as we walked in the door and told her that we were intending to sit at the bar. The bartender asked us what we wanted to drink before even giving us drink menus. We ordered wine and she rolled her eyes. Then, we requested dinner menus which she literally threw onto the bar without making any eye contact. We sat and waited for her to return to take our dinner orders and she was very obviously ignoring us and refusing to look in our direction, such that she would have to acknowledge our presence. It was an uncrowded bar and she was much more willing to socialize with the manager/hostess, who was drinking and eating at the bar rather than paying attention to paying patrons. Long story short, if you want to feel like an outsider in this town, you should come to this restaurant.

This is a great restaurant, a Deep Creek Lake staple. I love sitting on the deck with a beautiful view of the lake. The deep dish pizza is really good. They have a pretty big menu with lots of options and a lot of drink choices as well. One of my favorite places in the area.

Had lunch here after docking our boat and loved it. I had the sliders and my husband had a cheeseburger. Great Moscow Mule. Reasonable pricing, cozy atmosphere.

Our party of five had a great experience. Service was flawless, very attentive and quick. All our food came out cooked perfectly and delicious. We asked for a second kids dish(buttered pasta) because the first one got finished so fast, and it came out in about 5 minutes. The view overlooking the lake is always so nice.

I was very pleased with this restaurant from the minute we walked in the host took care of us even after we went to the bar then five minutes later decided we wanted to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. Our waitress was great and very prompt with our drinks, apps, and entrée. The food was delicious as well as the speciality drinks. All in all a great place to have a relaxing dinner.

The view is perfect, the food was great and the service(Shane) was excellent. Working in restaurants made me nervous to eat anywhere on Mother’s Day, but the host staff was so on point, we didn’t even have to wait for a table! The pizza skins filled me up(because I couldn’t stop myself from eating them all) but I saved the chicken spinacolli for later and it was delish! The burger and fries were also delectable. The only bad thing I would say is if you guys ever remodel, maybe try to get an extra stall or two in the ladies room(I know you can’t change plumbing). All in all, A+ experience!

Great Pizza. The bacon wrapped shrimp, They are spicy but delicious. Great late night leftovers. Server was fantastic,(sorry about the guest behind us who was mad when you carded her). I don’t remember her name, but she was very patient. Visited 2⁄18 @ 7:00pm.

I can only review what we had ordered. I would recommend any of the pizzas, or buffalo wings they were good. I also had a beef tips for the try two for twelve deal and it was good as well. I do not recommend the calamari, and the nachos.

When your in the middle of the wilderness it is great to find a old favorite. No matter where you are in the county there is nothing better then Chicago pizza and beer when it is cold. Just finished skiing and picking up some food and hitting the hot tub.

We almost didn’t come here because of the low ratings here on Unilocal, but we were glad we decided to come. We brought over a group of 10 including four people under five years old. Everyone came away very happy. The service was friendly and quick, and they seated us in the downstairs area which was nice and quiet for my mother who has hearing problems. The restaurant was full upstairs while we were there, and then filled up quite a bit downstairs while we were there. But food still came out quickly. The kids menu here is very good and our little ones were happy. Overall, I would say this location is on par with what I expect for the Uno brand. It’s not five stars /fine dining quality, but it’s good and reliable, and has something for everyone.

I don’t quite understand exactly why this place has such horrible reviews. The hostess seated us within 5 minutes even though it seemed to be quite busy, and we were immediately served by one of the nicest and most attentive waitresses I think Ive had! She deserves 5 stars. I got the farro salad and the Italian meatball soup(both quite good), and my family got the deep dish classic sausage pizza, which they said was incredible(and massive!) Service wasn’t slow at all, and I felt the prices were reasonable for the portions they served! I would most definitely return. Ps. We went on a weekday night, the story could possible be different on a weekend? Probably much more busy.

So many childhood memories here. I have no idea how many times we’ve eaten here, but at least once every time we go up to WISP — and I’ve been coming up for 20 years with my family now. Yes, it gets crowded on the weekends so expect a wait or call ahead. Very kid-friendly(my brother and I used to get chix n stix and kids combo when we were little — chicken fingers, French fries, and mozzarella sticks), and my brother’s favorite dessert still remains the infamous brownie bowl. You can’t really go wrong with any of the desserts here, but the oreo cheesecake used to be THEBEST. Not sure if they even have it any more. Mom’s favorite was the All-American, apple pie with vanilla ice cream. The deep dish Sunday with the GIANT chocolate chip cookie & vanilla ice cream is always a winner. And it’s served in a deep dish pizza pan. The mini macadamia nut white chocolate chunk sundae is a mouthful to say and also delicious. The only dish I haven’t been pleased with here(was a long time ago) — the pizza skins. Why I ordered these I have no idea, but they were not good at all. More recently they’ve updated their menu so it’s the size of the cheesecake factory. But it has lots of great new, tasty(and healthier) additions too like thin crust pizzas, chicken lettuce wraps, more grilled meats and fish, and new side dishes! Some great choices: field greens salad with balsamic vinaigrette and walnuts, faro salad, sweet potato fries, chopped salad, chopped power salad(one of my favorites), and the blackened salmon. Most people come to unos for the deep dish pizza, but I’m allergic to gluten so that’s a big NO in my book. It’s nice that it’s so easy to order to please many palates at uno’s no matter what you feel like eating!
