Greg rocks! He was super swamped with bigger stuff, but managed to fit in plating my little activity tracker necklace. Looks perfect! Friendly folks, but definitely expect them to be busy!

I know they didn’t have them for various reasons while I was there, but If you bring an example of the look you are trying to achieve it would be helpful.
I love that this place is local and I’ll definitely be going back in the future!

unforeseen circumstances delayed the completion of my order by quite a while. that said, the work was terrific, the prices reasonable & they gave me a nice discount for the long processing time. I’m happy to have a plating company in the local area and would not hesitate to bring my business here in the future.

Gold Seal Plating does high quality work. Our business uses them for all of our nickel plating and they do fine work at a fair price. They are also environmentally aware, exceeding California’s stringent regulations for plating, unlike some other shops which I will not name here. As a green business ourselves, we like to support other like-​minded small companies.

Called to ask about 18 k vermeil and was told that yes they did that. Drove over there and was told they do not do 18k vermeil only 14 and 23. I asked, do you have a sample? No, no sample. Maybe he could have shown me a piece he was working on in an order so I could see the color. He really did not seem to care if he got more business or not. Too bad because I was hoping to do move to a local plater. The whatever attitude is what really put me off.

As a longtime customer (almost 30 years) I have enjoyed working with Gary at Gold Seal Plating. Gary knows his business and delivers consistent results. Prices have changed over that 30 year period but I still feel the value is superior. My customers also have good things to say about the quality of the plating too.
Gary has installed a closed loop water system. They are full permitted with California rules and I feel great about having a local shop to do decorative plating.
