I wanted to do something creative for a girl that has become everything in my life. She and I had always been friends, but since the death of my best friend, we became inseparable. Her natural beauty, sense of humor, warmth and comfort was perfect at consoling my broken heart. I fell in love. But over time her feelings changed for me. Not only did I lose our relationship, but I lost her friendship as well. I tried so very hard to keep us together as friends, but failed. My heart was broken once again. Even though she moved on I felt so unsatisfied with how everything turned out. I still wanted to do something special. She’s an aspiring photographer so I wanted to recreate the moments in life we shared together through a storyline of pictures. A story of our journey, our memories. I wanted to leave something permanent behind so that one day we can look back on it and fondly remember. I wanted to show how much I really loved everything about her. How much I’ve missed her. How different my life is without her in it. How I appreciated every single moment I had her in my life. How I still celebrate getting to know her and the bond that was shared. Once I had my design completed, I began searching the internet for the best photographer I could find. Spending hours researching and emailing, seeing who would have the same fire and passion in helping me bring to life such an amazing experience I’ve had. And then I found Robin Walker. Not only is he a genuine person but the way he made my dream become a reality leaves me breathless every time I look at our finished product. He cared as much as I did, he found a way to transfer everything I wanted to say in the pictures we created. Even though I look at these pictures every day, it moves me every time. It brings back a flood of emotions that I have for this girl I will never forget. It keeps the thing I hold so dear in life close to me, as if it never even left.
