The smoothies here are always top notch, but can get kinda pricey, especially if you start customizing and adding boosts. I like how well maintained this location is, every time I come here I am always amazed at how clean the floors and counter space are kept, and I enjoy that you can smell the cleanliness in the air; somewhat like a hospital.

People are friendly here and they make great smoothies! I’ve tried the banana berry, cold buster (too boost your bear immunity), orange dream machine, kale and greens, Caribbean passion, and carrot karma! In fact I tried so many that I got a $ 3 discount so be sure to sign up for the rewards card!
They also send you free coupons on your birthday!
The only complaint I have about this location is that there are often homeless people around the area that come in. I don’t like baths either, but they take it to the extreme.

I love this place. Staff is super friendly and the quality of the food has come a long way. I get a primo bowl most mornings. No non fruit sugar, except honey which is good quality (no corn syrup). Check this pic out for attention to cleanliness!

I went to get a FRESH squeezed orange ginger carrot and kale. They pulled some juices out of fridge. Added kale and ice. Defeats the purpose if fresh. LEAST fresh juice i ever got! Everyone else juices FRESH juice in front of you. Very disappointed!

I’ve been a long time supporter of Jamba Juice. I’ve seen some of the people that have worked at different locations throughout Oakland. There is one employee in particular that has always been a bright spot whenever visiting a Jamba location.
2 days ago I came into the City Center for a Jamba Juice. I saw this lady who I recognized from previous trips to Jamba. She remembered my drink and name and it made my day. LuLu thank you for making my trip into your store a good one.

This Jamba Juice is pretty efficient. They are in City Center so I bet their demographic has a lot to do with their superior service. It’s like a coffee shop in the way that they know their regulars and their orders, they move the line quickly and their product is always quality.

I come here after an intense lift session to feed my body protein and vitamins. Okay, okay. I never lift and I really only come here when I’m too lazy to wait for actual food or, more frequently, when I have a hangover (ugh). I mean. this location is conveniently right in the middle of Oakland Civic Center Plaza and convenient to tons of other places!
That being said, it seems like mostly all the businesses in the area are about average for everything: price, service, quality, etc. This Jamba is no exception. I usually go in, figure out what juice or smoothie I want to commit to, and order a sourdough parmesan pretzel. There are so many drink suggestions, I’m not going to make a suggestion because they’re all pretty solid — it’s more a matter of your preferences so pick something you like and COMMIT!

Ever since I’ve started my clean eating kick, I’ve been coming in to get a «Tropical Greens» about 2−3x a week. I love that they know my order even before I step up to register. They have a great, accommodating staff and are certainly one of the more attentive Jamba Juice locations in the Bay Area.

Nancy is awesome. She has tried almost everything and answered all my questions. Erin is great too!

No different than any other JJ location in terms of product. The service here is actually above normal. The manager at this location is nice. She took care of me even without a coupon, since she was aware of the promotion I was speaking of.

Great location with friendly staff. Sometimes a bit under staffed given the rush hours. I will say Unilocal has the hours wrong. Does not open til half past 6. Could have spent more time at the gym Unilocal

This Asian guy working on a Thursday night seems to be trying to close the store about 50 – 40 mins early then the closing time and rushes us up. Clearly doesn’t know the the groupons for the store. He says the wheat grass over heated when this machine clearly has soap on and in it. Then I wanted to get my friend a drink with my other coupon and he says to mark the one I just used as redeemed! Hello the groupon does it on its own when u scan the coupon. So my friend gets upset and doesn’t want anything at all. Don’t come close to closing time they tend to not want to be around much longer or take any orders.
The person who helped me was named Melvin. Hey maybe next time clean up later.

They do a great job at this location and they are extremely friendly… a good way to start the work day.

Purpose: Got off Bart needed something fresh and light but in a healthier version. Since I got email ads for 50% of fresh squeeze juices who can complain?
Place: Jamba Juice #10 Oakland
Staff: High school type young hipsters full of energy doing what ever they can to help you get your food/​drinks. Knowledgeable and fast they are quick to their task takes your funds from your hand faster that if you can change your mind too late.
Cleanliness: Up to health code inspections these places are chain operated and follows a strict policy if one store has to do it a certain way all stores will be the same.
Drinks: 16oz number #5 assorted veggies and fruits mixed together squeeze fresh. $ 2.99 regular price is $ 5.99 available now through 10÷31÷13 only.
Expectations: Best to go in mid mornings avoid lunch time or around 5:30ish as people getting off from work some have patience problems. Sign up for email promotions sometime you can get free items, half off, or bogo. Warm days are slower here because the blenders are loud and workers irritated so much for have a nice day please come back soon.
Final Thoughts: Can be had at any location this place is in the heart of downtown Oakland no biggie here. Everyone by now should have at least try it once or so if not try one today you might or might not approve.

I LOVE the strawberry surf rider.

Jamba Juice is having a $ 2.49 special (16 oz) on three of its flavors — banana berry, aloha pineapple and strawberry surf rider everyday until May 20, 2013.
This Jamba Juice is small compared to the one at Southshore and less crowded. I was expecting more people in line since weatherwise (today) it was quite warm and I was there around 12:30 (lunch time) P.M. and there were only two people in front of me. When I left with my drink, the line was out the door. Perfect timing that I got there before the maddening crowd… LOL.
I usually get the mango-​a-​go-​go, but that is not one of the selections. I decided to try the aloha pineapple (pineapple juice, pineapple sherbet, strawberries, yogurt and bananas). I could taste the strawberry and banana, which were more pronounced than the pineapple juice and sherbet. The smoothie was okay (3 stars). However, the service was quick and the employees, as usual, friendly and helpful (4 stars). I haven’t had the banana berry yet. So I will have to order that flavor the next go round.

Jamba was having their special $ 1 smoothie sale and I had been craving something fruity and delicious for breakfast that day. When I arrived off the train, there was already a long line of people waiting to order but fortunately the line moved quickly.
I ordered a small Strawberries Wild which came out to exactly $ 1, and to my surprise, it was actually completed ahead of many people who were waiting a much longer time. I’m guessing it was easier to make than the others so go me! It was refreshing but I could taste the many calories that must have been packed into the sweet smoothie but I figured I could go for a long walk or something during lunch to make up for it.
Service was quick and attentive despite being super busy first thing in the morning. There are tables outside in the City Center where your dogs can hang with you while you enjoy your smoothie, but they’re otherwise not allowed inside. I don’t think I’d pay full price for a smoothie here, but the dollar deal would pull me back in an instant.

I really like this Jamba Juice. They actually make things right (like a thick Mango a-​go-​go) without it melting right away or tasting gross. Their pretzels aren’t stale either.
I used to come here sometimes during the week, but now come on Saturday before I hurry to West Oakland BART to find parking to go to work. I am SO HAPPY that they are open on the weekend (or at least Saturday), because they used to be only Monday — Friday. But I can get my fix Saturday mornings without a long line (if there ever is one, which is rare). Most I ever wait is behind one person.
This is a small store, but they do have indoor and outdoor seating if that is what you desire. I also like this place because one of the workers remembers my name (or at least my nickname, since people don’t pronounce it right), and I was super impressed because I hadn’t bee back to that place in months. So that was really nice. But I must say I am always missing their promos since I don’t visit by here during the week.
Parking is paid street parking, which is a disaster to find so good luck with that.

Jamba Juice here is very small. just a few people waiting and the line is almost to the door. young adults here working faster than ompa ompas. got my drink in 2 – 5 minutes after waiting a few minutes to order. fab!
