Did someone say Mexican dive bar? Damn then this is your place if that’s what your looking for. They serve beer and Box Wine only. All the Mexican beer you can think of and of course the Bud and Coors family having their guest appearance. A jukebox full of all Spanish music ranging from corridos, nortenas, banda, and mariachi. Dark as a bat cave, and of course half naked Latinas serving your beers. A true cantina full of borrachos, and serving micheladas to cure la cruda(hangover). I do wish they had some tequila, or something stronger for the drunk lover in me. Although I do enjoy some drown myself in beer with mariachi time. Remember this is only for those wanting to experience what a real cantina is like.

I’ve only gone to this place if I’m checking out the Cinco de Mayo or El Dia de Los Muertos festivities. Other than that, well… I doubt this place with become the next bar to host a Unilocal DYL happy hour, but it’s open when I need a Corona. When my girlfriend and I went in, it was like the record scratched to a stop and every cowboy hat turned to look in our direction. But we didn’t give a f*** and we ordered our beers and sat down at some open chairs. Even though it looked and felt like we were in a nasty brothel(oh, yeah, besides the two bartenders we were the only females there) after a while the guys just went on with whatever they were doing. Yeah, there were one or two knuckleheads thinking they could come up to us and talk, but that’ll happened regardless at any bar. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, but it’s decent enough if I’m in the neighborhood.
