Best. Car. Wash. Ever. They did such an amazing job. Car is cleaner than I think it’s ever been, inside and out. Got there just a couple minutes after 8:30, when they open, took about an hour, so I’ll definitely try to get there right at 8:30 or a little before to see if it takes a little less time. But totally worth the wait. And they have a waiting room inside, and even gave me the wifi code so I could get some work done while I waited, so the wait was no big deal. Totally nice people, I’ll be back for sure.

Love this place! I have come here a few times now and have always been more than pleased with their service. I have a wrangler that always has a healthy dose of sand and dog hair inside and they do such an amazing job. I’ve taken the wrangler off roading several times, where dust and dirt get in a lot of places normal car washes don’t get to, not here these guys clean every last inch of my car. Thank you for such an amazing job! They will have my business for as long as I live here. :)

This has been my go-​to car wash spot in Oakland. A friend recommended this spot and I haven’t been disappointed. It’s a great crew that focuses on details and doesn’t charge an arm and a leg and won’t make you buy something that doesn’t make sense. Get here early, it does tend to back up, but for good reason!

Excellent service with great attention to detail. They completely revived the interior of my car and made my rims look pretty amazing for just being stock. I’ll be back for sure.

Love this place. Prices are great esp considering the outstanding job they do. I have been to countless detailing places in the Bay Area and this is byfar the best place. My dog sheds like crazy and it seems near impossible to get all the hair out, but give them an hour or so and my truck looks brand new inside and out. Highly recommend!!!

As others have mentioned, you definitely need to plan on your visit to Mickeys taking a while — my SUV went in as soon as I got there and they spent a little over an hour on it — but the result is ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT. It’s as if you had a team of people caring for your car as lovingly as you would yourself if you had the space or time to do it. I witnessed them not only wash the exterior, but then spray it down with a bottle and hand wipe it as well. They cleaned every single little compartment inside the vehicle as well with brushes and vacuum and wipes. It’s really a bang up job for the price!

Very nice and hard workers. They got all the dust off my panel and it smelled so good when I got inside. Bring cash to tip they deserve it. Shops like this give me motivation to continue to support mom and pop shops in Oakland.

They do a great job every time. Bring a book, computer, or charged phone because it can take a while. But the wait is worth it. There’s also a couple restaurants and stores nearby to keep you busy.
But I love this place, 5 stars for the hard work and reasonable price!

So story begins with my friend throwing up in my car after girls night out on a Friday in the city. I desperately had to find a place to clean my car because I could barely breathe driving my own car. I just moved to the bay, so I ran through Unilocal and these guys came to my rescue… and boy did they come through! I’m literally writing this review as I pulled out of their family owned shop. Very friendly and approachable. I told him my situation & the young gentleman told me «I got you.» Came back later in the day to pick up my car and came back to a brand new car. I feel like I just bought a new car. The home, friendliness feel is just an added plus. This is he only place I will trust my car with on future Friday night «incidents.» If you want your car taken care of with great care and detail, come here, no where else. I never write reviews, but after this experience how could I not?

Place opens at 830 am but I showed up at 8am and they were able to accommodate me! Great customer service. Car came out nice and shiny. Inside was vacuumed thoroughly, including the mats. All in all, great experience. Took about 35 – 40 mins.
Will certainly return and opt for the wax package next time.

Got to support the Asian community. Hand wash and hand dry. They take their time. Worth the wait!

Mickey’s will bring your car back alive.
I have a 5 year old… I don’t have to explain.
They take their time about 1.5 — 2 hours but they get it done and done very well. There are restaurants and grocery stores around to kill time.
Cost me $ 35 to wash my SUV, extra $ 4 – 5 to clean my plastic mats.

These guys are good. There is a reason they are always super busy
And very reasonable prices too.
Plus the fact, they seem to be able to wash a whole can with very little water.
All around good service.
Even same day whole car claybar treatment.
(It takes appx 3 hrs) but for me to do at home it would be 8hrs. So its a deal.
Plus they really go the extra mile. Wiping down the door jambs and cleaning around the hatch on trunks and such.
Really dont get that service elsewhere.

Been looking for a good «go to» hand wash for sometime in the Oakland area. Went off of Unilocal reviews and finally went to Mickey’s on a mid Saturday afternoon. I liked hearing that it was family owned for many years — plus, Victor and John (Brothers, other one is Mike) were very helpful and good guys. Here’s the bottom line from my first visit: 1. It took nearly two hours for a hand wash (in/​out plus mats — this operation doesn’t focus on volume, it focuses on detail, which is nice. My car looked tight/​clean and John gave it a final inspection before I paid and drove off. 2. I’d recommend going early and getting in line — if that even helps — they just don’t have the real estate or manpower for high volume plus detail. Another option is to just leave the vehicle there which I saw several other customers do. 3. I thought their pricing was very reasonable given the attention to detail and products used to wash the vehicle. I paid $ 21 plus $ 4 for mats — so $ 25 total not including tip. They do prefer cash tip even if you pay for the wash via credit card.
Overall, a good spot. I will go back for sure but at a different time. I enjoy car washes but not for two hours! Great detail and value!

So glad I found this place on Unilocal.Well worth the wait! Also there’s a Lee’s Sandwich place next door so we ate there while we waited.
So we pulled up, not sure what to do because there was a cone, but you wait for a minute and a lady comes out to direct you where to park and let you know your place in line, then as the line moves she moves the cone so you can go in. I love this because most car washes expect for you to know what to do and where to put your car and then get mad because you don’t. -.-
About 70minutes because there were so many cars. Not a large crew but they take their time on each car, makes you trust them since they’re not just randomly scrubbing just trying to push volume.
Make sure to take tip cash. They definitely deserve it!

You know that feeling of Awe & Appreciation when you look in the mirror (after your stylist does a tremendous job) and then you take 20+ selfie’s of yourself looking so glam? Today I experienced this feeling, but with my CAR post CLAY BAR treatment by Mike at Mickey’s.
My Solara had been looking crunchy lately (think post BM dreds). In deference to the drought, I had been allowing a crust of dust/​dirt/​tar/​sap to accumulate week by week, month by month until THIS morning, I decided to go to Mickey’s at 8am and be the first person in line when they opened at 8:30a. Arrived at Mickey’s at 8:11a and guess what? Gates already open, with 3 other cars ahead of me and two cars being worked on already. Wow. NEVER have I seen a business open up early just to accomodate customers (another reason why Mickey’s is so worth the wait). I tell Mike what I want — inside/​outside wash + wax and he looks at my hood and says, «You don’t need a wax, you need clay bar. Let me show you why.» Mike proceeds to demonstrate one small section waxed (can still feel grit on paint) vs clay bar (no grit, smooth surface). I was amazed at the difference, so agreed to let him do the clay bar treatment. Furthermore, Mike pointed out that wax was good for dark colored cars, wax makes paint shiny, but for my car, which I keep parked outside, I really needed the clay bar and not wax.
I return to Mickey’s at 10a and my car is ready as promised. It was parked on 5^th. I stop. I stare. I am awed. My SEVENTEEN year old car looks like it just got a NEW paint job. I pull out my phone and start taking pics. I run my finger down the hood, the sides, the rear. I tremble, It is that SMOOTH, all over. I then pay Annie (who is always cheerful & pleasant though super busy) and tell her my paint looks & feels amazing. Two other waiting customers ask me about clay bar. I tell them that the clay bar removed particles (crap) embedded in the paint and I am now a clay bar convert. I return to my car. I take more pictures. I thank Mike, who tells me to return for another treatment in 6 to 8 months. I drive home. I park my car. I take more pictures. I Unilocal.I calendar my next clay bar treatment.
Thank you Mickey’s for a stupendous job! Once again, you have exceeded my expectations and earned my respect for your meticulous attention to detail, hard work and knowledge.

First off, I just want to say how impressed I am at the level of customer service here. Shortly after posting my review, I received a follow-​up message from Mike at Mickey’s Auto Detail asking about the condition of my car side-​view mirror. That alone demonstrated excellent customer care.
When I went to Honda to get my routine car service, they told me the actuator of my side-​view mirror would need to be replaced (costs: part $ 65 + labor $ 149 = $ 214). I called Mickey’s Auto Detail and spoke to John (the guy who initially helped me remove the spider chillin behind my mirror). John immediately remembered my case and told me to return with the receipt of damage repair. He was extremely responsive and apologetic about our little mishap. In the end, I received a refund check and another beautiful car wash (car wash service was just deducted from total damage costs).
John and Mickey’s Auto Detail deserve their full 5 STARS for not only quality auto cleaning service, but also for showing humility and maintaining professionalism during small incidents like mine. Funny thing though, another spider decided to step in and start spinning webs in the same damaged side-​view mirror. I guess I’ll just have to live with that. My spider buddy and I will definitely be back. Thanks, John!

Mickey’s formula is simple and perfect — offer an excellent service for a fair price.
I’ve brought a few cars here over the years. Regardless of the make, model, or condition, my vehicles always receive the same world-​class care from the crew. The people here are very friendly and humble; they take nitpicks with stride. I’ve never been made to feel uncomfortable when I point out the rare missed spot (and it is rare — these guys get everything).
They’ve been so good that I trusted them with my exotic — again, flawless job.
It is not a surprise that they have lines that literally go around the block with 1 – 2 hour wait times. That is an endorsement of the first order.
If and when I have children, I will take them here and say, «I don’t care what you end up doing in life — this is the kind of quality and work ethic that you’ll need to exhibit to succeed.»
Five stars, easy.

My car was spotless after a trip to Mickey’s. The floor had dried grass, etc and they did a great job vacuuming it and the chairs. So worth it. Most of my wait time was because they were working on the actual car.
Great attention to detail and appreciate having a shaded place to sit.

I’ve been here a few times and the result is always the same — top notch service. There is usually a wait, but for all the right reasons. The guys here pay a lot of attention to detail, and never have I had to ask them to repeat something again.
Best deal in town!
