Unfortunatelly, I think this place is closed, you may want to call before you go. The Peruvian chicken was great!

It’s really more of a 3.5, but I’ll round up. In Northern Virginia, Peruvian chicken places are as common as taquerias in the Mission or Fruitvale. And I loved them. It was a cheap but delicious — juicy chicken with crispy skin, fries or yuca and plaintains. All for around $ 5. I couldn’t believe that there weren’t any chicken places in Oakland. Nusta’s opened a few months ago, but I never made it over there. I made it today, and it was… not as good as I remembered. It was good. Definitely good. But not as good as Super Chicken in Arlington. Also no yuca or plantains — just fries, salad, or rice. The service was friendly and they have other Peruvian dishes — Ceviche, Lomo Saltado, Causa, etc… I’ll be back when I’m homesick for chicken or to try something else. They close at 7 during the week and are closed on mondays. Cash Only.
