I do not recommend this place. They can’t even do brakes right. Still squeaky.

R&S Auto Body is pretty much everything I look for in collision repair/​body work.
Sam, Doris, and Bo are all very friendly and have a lifetime of expertise in the industry.
I took my car after it got keyed at the BART station (in Bayfair –_​_​_​-​) after attending a concert in the Coliseum. I didn’t even realize the damage in the next morning. Some hooligan went scratch happy all over my trunk, hood, across the passanger and driver doors. everywherrrreeee.
R&S was recommended to me by my insurance (obviously this shop must have a good reputation). I happily agreed after learning it was the sister shop to Modern Auto Body (loved my experience with them a few years back).
I was able to have my car repainted and back to me within a few short days. I also pointed out a few other problems I was having, including a broken side view mirror and a much need timing belt replacement. I have a bad habit of putting these important things off. Sam showed me a break down of the repairs and costs on the computer, reassuring me they do not cut corners and delivery quality, while also saving me a good bit of money by recommending different options for fixing the keying. After they finished the repainting of my car, they even called me in to approve the paint job, before continuing with more repairs.
Great great service, high quality repairs, best rates in the city = Trifecta of goodness for a big time commuter like myself.

i recognized sam from modern auto body from down the street. when my «check engine light» came on, i asked him to check it out. he showed me a computer readout showing possible transmission problems. he recommended a transmission fluid oil change. i passively agreed. worked for a while, then the transmission went.
sam has a know it all mentality though he doesn’t do any maintenance work himself..
