my mother had asked for a cup of water for my son and still didn’t receive it after 15 minutes. She tried to get their attention but what did they do? Look the other way & walk away like they didn’t hear my mother. Please improve your guest service. I get that you were a little busy but it isn’t that hard to stop for one second to listen to what my mother has to ask.

Horrible!!! horrible service I ‘ve been here twice and the first time I went I was over charged a coffe and I thought okay mistakes happen. I went again and the lady taking my order decided to add and extra coffee and over price it again !! When i told her she tried to argue that I did order that umm no. Wouldnt come here again

F**k this Starbucks. This is the closest starbucks to my house, & i used to come here all the time, until they decided to make a big deal out of my 1pound dog that i was carrying with me. They basically kicked me out… really? shes a puppy, im not gonna leave her in the car, its 90 degrees. it was just gonna take 5 mins to order my drink & leave, but nooo… I’ve been to every other surrounding Starbucks & nobody else has ever said anything, i think this girl was just having a bad day, & decided to be a bitch about it, as well as the fat manager with a lisp, learn how to talk!

This is my favorite starbucks they always make my drink exactly how I like it I must have my coffee on the way to work early in the morning who wants coffee that isn’t exactly how you like it especially if your paying specialty coffee prices so I appreciate their attention to detail and I’ve never gotten a bad coffee from here their morning team is amazing thanks for making my mornings a little easier

The lobby is very clean, the staff is very friendly, and drinks are always made quickly and correctly. Everytime I come here there is a very long line, but it usually moves very quickly, they have plenty of staff members who are constantly preparing orders. Also, be sure to check out their happy hour specials, they offer discount drinks and BOGO offers.

So I came in on Sunday around 8:30 and saw it was kind of busy. Which I really didn’t mind if they would have taken a while to make my drink. Being a old partner I know how frustrating it can be taking orders during a rush. The lady at the register was very snobby and was not nice at all. I’m not sure if she was the shift manager or what because everyone was new. She was an older woman with short curly hair. She had a attitude right from the start. I knew it was busy so I ordered the first drink first and told her very politely and smiled saying I will wait to order my drink because my order is a little more complicated. She says with a snobbish tone, well I’ve been doing this for 7 years, your order shouldn’t be a problem. My friend and my eyes widened in shock of how she responded. We couldn’t believe how rude she was. At this point I was pissed, I told her my drink. Considering she was the only one on the register and everyone else doing the work she should have been nicer or put someone else on register. I felt bad and tipped them a dollar. Now the baristas… they did an amazing job! Everything came out quick and our drinks were perfect! I could tell the male barista was kinda new as he read out our drinks. I didn’t mind because they tasted great and were exactly how they were supposed to be made. For that reason I’m gonna give them 2 stars.

I got to say I have luck where ever I go I’ve been getting awesome service from everyone. I got my coffee quick and extra hit just how I like it. I ordered a orange cranberry scone and the young lady was kind enough to ask me if I wanted it warmed up I had to say yes with a big smile cheek to cheek thank you very much. The atmosphere is calm relaxing and inviting. I like coming to this location. Definitely my to go spot for a wake me up lol

It wasn’t too busy at this location when I came here. I ordered a couple drinks with out issue and the Starbucks partner that took my order was happy to help me. I got my drink in a timely manor, the drink was good, and they wished me a great day. They also welcomed me to there like location when I entered. Overall a great experience, I WILL be back.

Oh Starbucks some days you’re good to me and others you’re not. This location is so hit or miss. one day service is great the next it can be slow and horrible. The location is good because its right next to the freeway so I can get off and on. They also have ample amount of parking .if only they were more consistent I could rate then better.

The coffee is always great, but the customer service is not. I never get a smile or a happy greeting, all i see are unhappy people. I go only for the coffee, but would really enjoy a great customer service greeting like the Starbucks in Alameda crew does. I hope they fix that, and i will go more often because the coffees is delicious. Too bad!

I am a huge Starbucks fan. However, I try not to get my drinks from this location. Most of the staff are pretty cool and provide good customer service. The drinks are made right and the baristas almost always ask for clarity to make sure. My 2 star rating for this place is because of this one manager who is rude, acts like her poop doesn’t stink, and very biased as to who, or what ethnicity, she favors to give exceptional service. I’ve waited in line and watched her interact with the customers and it’s always the same with her. She will bend over backwards for the customers with the same ethnicity. This includes giving them a warm and friendly greeting, speaking in another language, and all smiles. So, when my turn comes up, I get nothing but bad attitude from her. No «Hi» or other friendly greeting, no «How may I help you?», no smile, and no «Thank you.» More of what I get is this look like I’ve intruded on her territory and she’ll say(or demand) «What do you want?», «Uh-huh», and she just tells me the cost of my drink. I do not feel welcomed or appreciated by her. And as I am waiting for my drink she will flat out have changed back to her cordial self with said customers. I’m not prejudice or biased toward anyone; especially because I’ve had to deal with it a lot in my life. And I know how it feels. I am not perfect and I am not better than other humans. I just want to be able to enjoy my Starbucks drink without having it tainted with unfavorable treatment.

This Starbucks is the worst one that I have ever been to. I didn’t even know the service could be as poor. Here is my breakdown of the service here: Pros: 1) They serve Starbucks coffee. 2) Close to my house and where I grocery shop. 3) They have wi-fi(apparently all Starbucks do not have this). 4) The chaos and the long wait times at this Starbucks has helped me to save money. I brew most of my coffee at home now. I guess I should thank you for that. Cons: 1) The wait is always insanely long regardless of the time of day I go, how many people are in line, or what I am ordering. Most of the time, I have to wait in line for 45+ minutes. 2) I question the level of professionalism. I am sorry but when your employees have green/pink/purple hair and hickies all over their necks, I do have to wonder if this company has any standards for professionalism. I understand the whole«accepting people for their differences» concept, but some of this is just downright tacky, and there should be some standards for the workplace. 3) My drink is always made wrong. I usually have to send it back 2x. Here is what I usually order: decaf skinny soy café mocha, no whip. That’s it. There is always some hang-up with this drink. They run out of the sugar-free syrup or they make it with milk or something… ALWAYSSOMETHING! The last time that I was there they had to make it 4 times! The girl made it with milk, then added whipped cream, she didn’t use the syrup, and she just didn’t know what a mocha was! Come on now! If I am paying extra for soy — do you really think I want dairy? 4) Tables/floors are usually nasty and cluttered. There are always crumbs or sticky goo on the tables, chairs, and floors. In addition, there are usually wild children running about the place. So this place is very chaotic, and doesn’t have the usual Starbucks ambiance. Also, depending on who is working, the radio can be blaring like you are in a club instead of the coffee shop. It can be difficult to do your work here. 5) Despite the chaos and the sanitation, there is usually no place to sit on the inside. People who are not even buying things come in to hang and use the wi-fi. They bring their kids and the rest of the family zoo– including the dog. That’s right pets and the like are allowed inside this food establishment. So Fido can sit at the table and even have his own chair. Gross. So most of the time, folks who are actually paying can forget hanging around. 6) Parking lot is chaotic. You are often competing with angry patrons from Food Maxx, Office Max, K & G, Bank of the West, etc. for parking spots. For some strange reason, Food Maxx has decided to close half of their parking lot, which has understandably angered people and ruined their common driving logic. So now they filter over to the Starbucks end, and they are clueless and aggressive for parking. It is 3x worse on the weekends. That adds to the extra stress of folks who just want to run in and out and get our coffee. Wait time is now tripled during the day as we have to hunt for parking. Bottom Line: I don’t come to this Starbucks anymore. Why should I have to wait 45+ minutes for an insanely priced coffee? I am not going to drink amongst chaos just because the location is more convenient to my home, and I would not recommend anyone else do it either. If I have to get Starbucks, I drive up the road to Alameda.

It’s a small Starbucks and always a long line. Service is rather slow, and wish they would do something about it. Nevertheless, it’s located right before a freeway on ramp to 880 so I end up stopping there. Convenience is hard to beat.

Service has dropped since the management changed. Waiting long in line and I’ve been getting the incorrect drinks which I have the simplest drink, ice coffee with no room or sweetner. They went from 5 stars to 3, only because gaby and Corbit are the only ones who give great service every time; otherwise this location would’ve got 1 star. Sad looks like it’s time to find a new Starbucks

One of the slowest Starbucks I’ve ever been to! I know it’s happy hour so I understand you get the non regulars who comes in at this time only for the half off but the workers are extremely slow and work at turtle speed! They have so many drinks that it is looped around the cashiers counter twice with cups stacked on top of each other. Don’t think the happy hour price is worth my time. It doesn’t even feel like the regular good old Starbucks environment anymore. Bunch of Hispanic folks, teenie bopers, and kids. It sounds like the Hispanic supper market…

Popped in on a cloudy Thursday on my way up to Berkeley. The cashier wasn’t friendly, didn’t repeat my order, nor asked if I wanted a receipt. Which i did bc the total was more than I’d estimated but she told me to just wait at the counter so alright, whatever. Called out my name, they made the wrong drink, some mocha frap with whip. Since my dads picky I asked the barista girl to remake it and she just looked at me as if she didnt believe me… Oook When i received my other drink, the usual venti iced coffee with caramel, it tasted seriously gross. What? How? Waste of product and money, I couldnt finish more than 2 sips. Unfriendly service, subpar drinks. Overcharged, but wasnt worth asking. Left me feeling so negative that I actually reviewed a starbucks… Lol, theyre usually so consistent! darn.

This location is always packed in the morning. I work right around the corner so I come here often for my morning fix. I always get a mocha here because I love chocolate and coffee. They’re always consistent every time which is sorta hard to come by at other locations. Staff is always friendly and drinks are made in a timely manner.
