Weights of Valor

Victor is great! He does such a good job to ensure that you are getting the most out of the time you have with him, and performing to the best of your abilities. I have been struggling with losing weight for a long time, and my schedule continues to be hectic and constantly changing, but Victor is always willing to work with me. Working with Victor is always something different, he knows how to get you engaged, even so much that you don’t notice that he ups the reps or changes the weight.
Though I personally haven’t seen change (I look at myself everyday) others notice a change in my appearance. I notice the little things though, not feeling winded by simple tasks, ability to do more taxing work longer, and just an overall feeling of health. Victor is always working to help you achieve your goals both inside the gym during the time you are with him, and outside the gym (helping with food logs, exercises to do in your own time, etc.)
I must admit that I can regularly come into the gym dreading my workout, but by the end, I am glad I stuck through it. I am continuously being challenged and can finally power through a session, with minimal complaints (not really). He really knows how to motivate you, and how to motivate yourself to achieve your goals. Victor goes above and beyond for his clients at all times. I thoroughly recommend you to try him out! You will never get a better experience in the gym. I’m a proud member of TEAM VALOR!

I dropped 80 pounds on my own 6 years ago, which was great– but then I plateaued for years. I worked with several trainers in that time to try and refine my new body, but was disappointed by flaky, poorly educated trainers with whom I never saw any results. Victor changed all that– I’ve been working with him for 4 months now, and have never seen such progress in changing my whole body composition. He gets what I want– where I want to cut down, where I want to build up– and keeps me on top of my game with nutrition and varied sessions. I thought that my post– weight loss body was just fine– but the more time I spend with Victor, the more I realize we can always improve, always look and feel better, and always reach new goals. If you’re looking to get out of a rut, improve your health, or just be in your best shape yet– Victor is the one to call.

Victor is amazing! I wasn’t looking to lose weight, I was more interested in toning my muscles and getting into better shape. He definitely helped me get a start on that. Victor is super flexible and works around the time and day that is best for you. I really liked the fact that he had faith in me even when I felt a little discouraged. I’ve had a problem with my knee ever since high school and while we were working together he helped me strengthen it. The work outs that he has showed me are challenging but definitely doable; you just need to discipline yourself. If you’re willing to put in the work, he’s going to make sure you see the results that you want.

I am actually writing this review for a co-​worker/​friend of mine; so here goes in her words to Victor…
I am a 56 years old woman and this is my 1^st time joining a gym and having a personal trainer. Victor has been such a positive inspiration and support for me. He is truly amazing! I started the 1^st of November and I can see a dramatic difference in the way I look. Just last week, my doctor called me with some great news. She asked me what I have been doing lately as she stated that all of my fasting blood work came back with low readings.
Other patients of hers that are on medication are still not as low as my results. And I am on no meds. She wanted to use me as her model patient. I have surprised myself on how much I have accomplished in such a short time. I wanted to share my thoughts and feelings about my Fabulous Trainer Victor… Simply the Best!!!
I am going to continue my workouts! I feel I can take on the world.

Victor will push to your limits by understanding your limits in the first place. He’s not a robot just going through the motions, he customizes each workout and keeps close track of progress. Victor concentrates on your immediate fitness goals, but also combines training sessions with suggestions for eating and lifestyle to improve overall health. He keeps the sessions original and interesting, and picks up on individual strengths and weaknesses. For me, the main advantage of working with Victor is that he’s dedicated to personal training as a career, which means if you stick to it he will stick with you for the long haul. In a few short months, he’s helped me with building endurence and strength, as well as diet and weight loss. Victor’s passion for his work is a constant reminder of why you’re in there working your ass off in the first place! Highly recommended.

In 2008, I learned that my ongoing hip/​glute/​knee pains were due to a misalignment in my body; since then I have struggled with not being able to run nor continue boxing as I desire. There are several trainers that I’ve dealt with in the past and pretty much have had none to tiny complaints, however, since then, I must say that Victor has given me what I have been searching for all along in a trainer.
Since I began training with Victor, I’ve noticed a HUGE change and less pain! Victor is absolutely a GREAT trainer! He is very educated and has exceptional knowledge in dealing with each individuals goals. During each session, Victor ensures proper form and movement and that I understand which muscle that I am training. He also gives me tips and encourages me with each step… He has definitely helped me lessen the pain while simultaneously keeping me on track with my goal.
I highly recommend Victor in helping anyone reach their goals. Whether you’ve been a gym junkie or just starting, Vic will help pave the way to accomplishing your goals!

Victor is the best!
Since 2009, I’ve been struggling to lose the 40 lbs I put on in college (yes, 40!), and to keep the weight off. I went through four trainers before I started training with Victor, and although I did see results with the others, the sessions became too routine and it was hard to stay motivated … causing me to gain some of the weight back.
I’ve been training with Victor for 3 ½ months, and he’s helped me get over the hump I faced trying to lose the last 10 lbs. He continually challenges me with different workouts, and is such a great motivator. He’s helped with my nutrition, teaching me what foods to eat and what to stay away from. Lastly, he’s helped me gain the discipline in my weight loss journey, making fitness my lifestyle, and not just a phase. I look good, I feel great, and I’m back to the weight I was before college. I definitely recommend getting a training session in with him.

This is the Best Training Ever!!! Victor is by far the best trainer that you could ever want. He is very knowledgeable and well versed in what he does. I have trained with him for about 3 ½ years and the results have been awesome. He keeps the workout fresh and knows just how to keep you motivated even when YOU don’t think you can make it or want to give up. I would highly recommend that anyone wanting or needing to train for health reasons, rehab or just wanting a life change for the better that you call this guy. Many Thanks to Victor Lopez (V.LO)!
