This subway always makes great sandwiches. However when walking in at 730, they have all their tables and chairs up as if they are closed. Bathroom is closed and they refuse to let you use it. Also no tea brewed. The sign says they close at 10 so why does it seem like you are already closed?

Walked in in a nick of time– seems a huge run on Subway sandwiches followed me in_I am not kidding– there was 1 person in front of me waiting to order and suddenly there was crowd behind me… lol. This place is clean & fast– other than the fact they could use a few more tables this was the place to be for lunch on a Saturday in Oakley.

This is the subway by raleys… It’s so horrible can I give it 0 stars? Went here recently and ordered a oven crisp chicken. An older lady with curly hair was helping me. When the chicken was ready she took it out of the oven and put it on my sandwich but it was the wrong kind. I told her and she copped an attitude. She put the piece of chicken on the counter and started talking about me in Spanish to a co worker while heatin up another piece of chicken. The co worker took the first hot piece of chicken and threw it back in with the cold Chicken!!! So don’t eat here if u dont want to get sick…
Afterwards she threw my new chicken on the sandwich and instead of using a knife to help fold the sandwich she slammed it together. Horrible attitude horrible experience… Only eat here if u want food poisoning! No leadership here!!!

I don’t like reviewing chains because I can’t offer much opinion on their standard offerings of food. However, my favorite combo is always: turkey + provolone on Italian herb and cheese w/spinach, tomato, red onion, bell peppers, pickles, and a squirt of deli mustard. Perfect combo of salty, sweet, and crunchy texture.
And the customer service at this particular store is SUPERB!
The little old lady and man are always bright and cheery when I pop in to grab my lunch for the day.

Lady: «what cookie do you want?»
Me: «oh that’s ok… i didn’t order a cookie.»
Man: «it’s on the house!» *big booming laugh*

Raspberry cheesecake cookie was almost too sweet, but I loved the cream cheese chips in the cookie.
Seriously, this cute couple sure can make Mondays seem cheerful. :)

I don’t understand why the turkey and provolone footlongs aren’t $ 5., they are $ 6 bucks!!! WTH??! Grrrrrrr! Had Subway today and I wanted the $ 5 turkey and provolone footlong and I wanted to pay $ 5 bucks. No bueno! I don’t get it, they advertise those footlongs on TV all day and so I go and get one and its not $ 5 bucks… uhhh oookaaaay… they say turkey is more expensive???
On the plus side my sandwich was great and I just wanted to vent on the price :(

So glad to have the new Subway close enough to walk, but so disappointed when the bread is hard and dry… The place is super clean (let’s hope it stays this way) and the staff does love to chit– chat to each other while making the sandwiches
