Makarita, DDS

We have been going to Dr. Makarita for at least 5 – 6 years if not more. He has the best bedside manner of any dentist I have seen. He is great with kids and you always feel like part of a family. My son hated dentists but Dr. Makarita put him at ease and he eventually looked forward to his appointments.
Besides the basic cleaning, cavity treatment, etc., Dr. Makarita is world renowned for his work in actually fixing painful issues with the jaws and ‘fixing smiles’. He has a ‘No BS’ approach which is refreshing in this field of medicine. My wife had problems with her teeth and migraines. Most dentists just looked briefly and recommended braces or pulling some teeth. Dr. Makarita took his time when he examined her, did more research afterwards, and said she needed to have her jaw essentially adjusted. It was not the quick and easy answer, but this and some other work cured her migraines and fixed her smile. :-) He also did some other really nice work.
I’m not saying he will fix all your problems, but if you have serious teeth/​jaw issues, then he is one of the few dentists in the area who has the experience, education, and objective decision-​making to really help you. If you just need checkups, he is awesome for that. The goody bag after each cleaning is great too.
The office is modern, open and very clean. The entire staff are friendly. We had a couple of minor billing issues but they were always resolved the same day.

I used to have a major fear of dental work and the pain related to procedures. Dr. Makaritas has a great office with some cutting edge technology, he uses many pain free ways to make dental work as comfortable as possible. His office is clean and he works with a smile on his face. Great & charismatic, I would definitely recommend his office for top notch quality work!
