This is not the first time I’ve experienced dissatisfaction with this particular location. Today I stopped by in the morning around 7:45 and there were about 6 people or so in line, in other words not hectic at all. I get up to the cash register and the older woman asks me what I want. Then her coworker comes up and says something that I couldn’t distinguish, and the lady I’m ordering from says«well you aren’t writing the cups!» Her coworker responds with«Well I can’t do your job for you.» The lady helping me turns back around and without asking if I want anything else, tells me my total, and says nothing about disregarding my presence to make a petty comment at her coworker. Then when the barista is making my drink another coworker tries to run behind her and they run into each other. I get handed my drink and there is caramel all down the side of the cup, the barista didn’t even try to wipe it off. Finally I get in my car and look down at my leather watch to find that the green marker the cashier had written with had completely wiped off all over my hands and on my watch. It is safe to say that I won’t be coming back to this Starbucks until they have a new, professional group of people working there.

This is the worst Starbucks location I have ever been to. One barista constantly makes my drink over flow the cup, and then hands me the sticky, wet, scalding cup every time instead of double cupping it. Another barista has to be watched through the entire process to get my order right. Almost everyone(with exception of some of the new staff) never smile or are polite. I’ve been coming here every week day for three weeks, and they still can’t get it together.

Five solid stars for commitment to customer service, great management and friendly staff. Like the song from«Cheers», sometimes you just want to go where everybody knows your name. This store is my new neighborhood Starbucks and I frequent it most mornings and am always greeted with a smile and cheery greeting. Usually there is a long line at the counter, so I started using the order ahead app and picking up at the bar. The system is very efficient and delivers Starbucks standard quality. I am very impressed with the management at this store. Most times the service and quality I receive are spot on. I had a couple instances lately where my drink order was not quite what I ordered(skinny vs sugar free; blueberry oatmeal with no blueberries or toppings). Because this location is so convenient to me, I called to speak with the management and informed Kara of my concern with the mobile app service coordination. Everybody makes mistakes; I wasn’t upset but wanted to let her know of the pattern so she could look into it. Kara was very generous and appreciative of the feedback. She was committed to fix the issues and give the best service possible. She expressed that she wanted my business and wanted to provide the best customer experience possible. The next morning, she thanked me for calling and comped my usual order to show her resolve and make the mistake right. I very much appreciate the attitude and commitment to customer service of this store’s staff and management. We’re all human and no one will get everything 100% right all the time. But commitment to a long term positive customer relationship will continue to bring me back every morning to my neighborhood Starbucks. Plus — it’s nice to go where the staff remembers your order and calls you by name.

I love this location! I usually go in before work and get overwhelmed by the line. They give fast service and the line is moving fast always. Staff is friendly and helpful with their own drink ideas. Location is clean and parking is ample. happy to be a regular here!

Pretty typical Starbucks outlet. I stopped in here late one evening when they were trying to clean up and close down. I had placed an online order but they had not noticed it. They promptly prepared my order and I was on my way. I’ll give them a pass on missing my order this time. I will likely return when in the area.

My go-to Starbucks before I go grocery shopping. Typical, fast, and friendly. BUT: can someone PLEASE update the hours of operation? WARNING: They close at 8:30PM on Sunday NOT9:30PM. I know this isn’t a big deal to most people but if you are a busy mom whose only chance to go grocery shopping is Sunday night after you have put the kids down and you walk up to said Starbucks at 8:49 pm because Unilocal told you they closed at 9:30 and the one thing you were looking forward to most that day was enjoying a hot beverage while doing the grocery shopping in blissful peace and you find it closed, then this is a HUGE deal.

«Meh I’ve experienced better» about sums up this particular location. I used to go to the Starbucks in the Centreville shopping center which was FANTASTIC. Now, I live closer to this one, but I have to say it is not an equal replacement. I’ve come in at varying hours, early, morning rush, afternoon… but the experience is always the same. Every time I come in, the wait is out the door, which is to be expected during the morning rush, but the baristas work at a GLACIAL pace. Now before you say I am just another spoiled metropolitan– I actually used to BE a barista for many years, so I know how long a line should be moving and how long an average order should take. I waited in line for over 15 minutes for a cup of coffee once, only to find the two baristas working the espresso machine were engaged in what appeared to be a side conversation and were not even looking at the drinks being placed in front of them, let alone making them. Not to mention every time I wait it out and get to the ordering counter, I am always met with a frosty greeting and a lukewarm demeanor from the cashier, like they’re doing me a favor by taking my order. Makes stomaching paying for a $ 3 muffin that’s been sitting in the counter all morning just that much harder. Would recommend trying Peets down the road if you have the option– or De Clieu in downtown Fairfax if you have the time.

Wilson runs a tight, friendly, fast moving ship. He’s efficient, super personable and makes you smile BEFORE your first cup of coffee. He remembers and welcomes the regulars. Quiet place, no attitude from staff, pays attention to details and Trent even places a cup holder on top of the hot beverages for you. Pleasant surprise. A must if you want a pleasant start to your day!

My husband loves and knows a lot about coffee. Yesterday we rushed to Starbucks and got there 10 minutes before they were to close. We were told it was«closed». Great service Starbucks! I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Pretty average Starbucks with decent parking in Oakton area. When I have been there re wait is never too long, but I also have not come in during the morning rush. Only issue I’ve encountered is that when I got an iced coffee, I got a sticker card and my friend did not, which I thought was odd. Make sure if you get an iced beverage to get a card or a sticker!

Best Starbucks there is. Coffee is always so sweet. About the only Starbucks I’ll go to. Great that I live three minutes away from it, haha!

I come to this particular Starcbucks about 2 times per month on the weekends and attack my Starbucks bucket list, that is to try everything on the entire menu one time. There is one guy that works there on Sunday evenings, I can’t recall his name, but he is absolutely AWESOME! He always helps me as I make a decision to try something new. He suggested I try a coffee made with the Clover machine. He took the time to explain the process and it was a cool experience and told me about new fancy shancy coffees. The other time I wanted an ice coffee and he suggested French Vanilla flavor(hazelnut + vanilla). OMG, it was sooooo delish! So, because of this one person, its one of my favorite Starbucks! Other than that, the store looks good, clean, etc.

WORSTSTARBUCKSEVER! Always the longest lines. Workers are mopping the floor while there is a line of 8 – 10 people. Understaffed and terrible customer service.

Would do zero stars if I could. So unbelievably slow it’s almost to the point of being funny. Seriously the worst Starbucks I’ve been to.

I went there yesterday morning at 6:28am and they had no coffee. No pike, no bold, no blonde. And no apology from the team. They did have decaf, however. I couldn’t believe what they were telling me, so i said«You don’t have any coffee!?!». They said, well yes, they have coffee, they just need to brew it. The store manager apparently runs this store(ie little or no oversight), hence the long lines and slow service every morning. BTW the reason there was no coffee from my perspective is the associate was gabbing it up with one of the the other two or three customers in the store this morning. Took about two minutes for them to acknowledge me waiting for them to finish their conversation. This location has the store manager on the complaint card — not the district manager. Not good for starbucks and not good for customers. Unfortunately there aren’t many options in oakton. I recommend the dunkin donuts in Vienna or the peet’s coffee in Vienna if you just want a quick coffee.

This is 100% the SLOWEST Starbucks on the planet! I live across the street & rarely come here — go to the Vienna store! Even with a line out door they are fast & my mocha latte is fantastic there!(Here not so much!) … Not so patiently waiting in line!

Starbucks in General has been going down hill. The more they grow, the worse they get and a lot less do they care about customers. I’ve gone to this Starbucks many times and they almost always have a line and are very slow to serve. As a previous employee of Starbucks for 4 years, I have the right to say when someone is slow because I’ve been on the other side many of rushes. Their coffee has never been my favorite, I always like the a lot of milk with a little bit of coffee. Lately though all of my espresso drink have come out bitter. I’m sad that as they’ve grown, the company got rid of the fun seasonal products such as mugs and pitchers and cups. The final straw was when this past weekend we called and placed a coffee traveler order with Sam for 8:20am on a Sunday. We decide to get there a little later to give them a few extra minutes, however our order was completely forgotten. No apologies, no anything. We finally got our traveler at 8:50am. Very unacceptable as we were supposed to be at our destination at 8:50am.

It used to be the premier Starbucks on Chain Bridge connecting McLean to Vienna and then Fairfax, not anymore with the rest of the Starbucks on the«fast lane». Starbucks got a nutty idea of adding long tables inside their tiny coffee shops so now when you enter a Starbucks you feel you are entering a mini bus terminal, not particularly clean and not particularly enjoyable. Starbucks needs to get their tables back and stop trying to be the McDonald of coffee shops

This continues to be worst Starbucks ever. I have lived in Oakton for almost four years, and they’ve never been fast or great at getting things right. It’s frustrating because a lot of the same people have worked there for a long time, but they still haven’t figured out how to not keep a line out the door. Also, I noticed a seasonal drink wasn’t on the menu anymore at the Spring Hill Road Tysons location and was sorta bummed. Came to Oakton the next day and it WAS on the menu, so I excitedly ordered it… only to be told they don’t have it anymore. So they can’t even keep the menu updated here.

I read they are now selling reusable plastic coffee cups. I got mine here this morning. The cup is a buck, 18 ounces, then you get .10 cents off each coffee purchase after that. What a great way to keep the environment clean and green.
