Apple pie was good, the ice cream was what really hooked me. The vanilla ice cream was super creamy and worth every penny!

We LOVE this place! My husband’s favorite is the traditional apple pie which I always get for his birthday. I prefer anything with a crumble topping. We bring our kids(3 and 5) a lot in the summer time to get a cookie and walk through Old Town Occoquan. We love our little family tradition and the kids love their visits to «The Cookie Store».

Thought this place was pretty good. Husband said someone had recommended it to him so we stopped by. We bought a piece of Pecan Pie and a slice of Debbie’s Deep Chocolate Cake with Ganache. The pie was very delicious. I was thinking this place lives up to the hype. But then when we ate the cake, it was full of giant chunks of flour that had been unmixed. Not delicious at all.

Haven’t had a single bad pie from here and I’ve had lots of pies from here. My favorite are the Blueberry, Apple and Peach crumb! You can either buy the pie or slice but almost always have to buy at least two slices after the learning the hard way. Every event I’ve brought these pies too, they’re a hit! The staff is very warm and welcoming! They also sell cookies and other baked goods too.

I was feeling pretty blue this morning so I decided to grab some homemade pie with a friend and I’m so glad we did! My personal favorite is the apple pie, but today we got raspberry with a quart of their Indonesian vanilla bean ice cream and the mint and chip as well. The pies delicious as is but warmed up at home, topped with ice cream and shared with friends it’s pretty darn spectacular. I’m so glad Mom’s is close to home so it can always be my go-to, feeling blue or not. I recommend Mom’s to all my family and friends, and maybe next time I’ll try their sugar cookies — they look so good!

Mom’s is the best place to get pies in PW county. Everything made from scratch, as much of it locally sourced as possible, much from their farm in Loudoun County. You can get whole pies, or just slices. The bourbon walnut pie, summer corn quiche, & million-dollar cookies are my favorites. I make sure every out-of-town visitor has that pie. The cookie never survives the ten-minute drive home. They have a refrigerated case with chicken & pasta salads & such. The chicken salad is usually really good, but sometimes a bit dry(but that’s chicken breasts). I haven’t had anything bad here. In the summer, they sell some extra produce from the farm. Some of the best strawberries I’ve ever had came from here. The people who work here are all nice & keep things fun, too.

Right when you enter the cute, small town of old town Occoquan, you look to your right and here is this delicious gem of a shop! I’ve been coming to Mom’s ever since I can remember, when my sister first took me here and I had their spinach and egg quiche(weird I know, who goes to an apple pie shop to get a quiche?!), either way I was hooked! Their pies and everything actually in here are amazing! The crust for all the pies have the perfect texture and crumble to it. I would highly suggest the Butter Pecan Apple Pie Crumble and their(of course) spinach and egg quiche. They also have great selections of cookies, ranging from sugar cookies, to peanut butter, and chocolate chip. I think it’s really nice how they decorate the sugar cookies depending on what season it is! Also, the service here is great! They are more than happy to help you in whatever way you need, no matter how silly the question or request may seem. They also have a nice wine shop attached to the bakery part of the store and they normally have a sommelier there to help you pick exactly what wine you are looking for and he gives great suggestions!

This place is a bad idea to visit if you’re on a diet. From the moment you walk in you know you’re not leaving empty-handed. It’s best to come thru first thing in the morning when they open to get the best selection of goods. The pecan pie was pretty good, as was their peach crumb pie.(My friends got the apple pie but were not floored.) I also went ahead and picked up some jarred pepper jelly and barbecue sauce to go, so I’ll have to let you know how that is. The rock candy took me back to my childhood, and the wine selection next door was pretty good too.

They have a very nice selection of VA wines and specialty beers and unique organic drinks(fizzy water, specialty sodas and herbals), their prices are high. Be prepared to pay super premium. They actually have Eclairs! Their pâté choux is just like home in New Orleans. This is the ONLY other place I’ve been able to find REAL eclairs outside of New Orleans! Hubby got cannoli and it was quite good. I’ve been here several times and have not been disappointed.

Absolutely cute and inviting. I take appreciation for family owned bakery shops just like this one. I’m definitely coming back for more pies when I return to visit.

Mom’s Apple Pie is definitely the best pie joint in the Northern VA area. I’ve frequented both their locations, one in Occoquan and one in Leesburg, and the pies are so good. Their philosophy is no-preservatives, using fresh, high-quality fruits, and adding very little sugar so as to preserve and bring out the natural flavors of the fruits. This is a wonderful family-owned bakery in the quaint, historic Occoquan. They have apple, cranberry apple, pumpkin, chocolate pecan, strawberry rhubarb, raspberry peach, butter pecan apple crumb, bourbon walnut, sweet potato, blackberry, and more! Pies are mostly in the $ 17 – 20 range. They also make breads and cookies. I’ve had their apple and strawberry rhubarb, and both are fantastic. The crust is flaky but doesn’t crumble easily into a mess, and the filling is delicious. This Mom’s is much larger than the Leesburg location. In addition to pies, the store also carries ice cream, coffee, candies, jams, sodas, and soaps. There’s also has a wine shop attached, where you can buy wine, beer, and even fishing bait! And now you know why Michelle Obama stopped in.

Such a cute little place! We always pass this place on the way to/from Potomac Mills off of Ox Road. It has a variety of pies and treats such as cookies. There is also a section with different wines. There is also a bunch of different types of salads and quiches in a smaller fridge next to the pies. The prices aren’t too pricey. You can get either a whole pie or you can get just slices. It’s never been crowded when I went to visit even on weekends. My personal favorite are the apple crumble and peach! So good!

My favorite dessert EVER is pie… And I knew I had to have it for our engagement party, so off we drove to Mom’s in Occoquan. I had called a few days beforehand to check if we had to put in an order ahead for full size pies, but they ensured us that they would have most of the whole pies in stock. We picked up coconut crème, apple crumb, and raspberry peach rhubarb, and also purchased two individual slices(apple and Shenandoah peach) for ourselves to enjoy outside on the porch. In addition to pie, they also sell cookies, jams, gelato, and other goodies throughout the shop. The lady who helped us and rung us up was the sweetest — she was very friendly and offered suggestions when we were indecisive on what we should pick. The pies were a hit at my engagement party and I look forward to coming back here to pick up more!

Stopped by here on the way out of this little town and they have the most amazing pies! As soon as you step in you can smell the sweetness of the store. Not only do they sell pies but they offer cookies, gelato, Italian pop, and other goods like jam, honey and butter. I ordered the apple pie to go and it was 100% worth the price. Goes along great with some vanilla ice cream after the pie has been heated up!

Best pies EVER! My favorite is their chocolate pecan pie. If you love pecan pie and love chocolate, BUYIT! It is so delicious. On the right side from where you enter, you will see sliced pies in all different flavors.(They’re about $ 3-$ 5 per slice). That way, you’re not forced to buy the whole pie and you can just try slices of all the different pies that they have. They have other desserts also but I haven’t gotten round to trying those yet because I want to try all their pie flavors first :).

Just breezing thru town and I see Mom’s Apple Pie in Occaquan VA. Occaquan is just the coolest little town and what makes it all better is Mom’s Apple Pie. I walk in and see folks working! Baking, wrapping and stocking shelves with products. Think of Santa’s workshop but with Mom in charge! I bought a few jars of Pickles and Chow Chow(What the heck is it??) as well as cookies and a slice of pecan pie. The pie was cooked so fresh, it was just spot on. If your passing thru, stopping by for Mom’s Apple Pie and a cuppa coffee should be a must!

Man, I thought the Leesburg Mom’s was good? This place is awesome! It’s definitely worth the drive to Occaquan to hit up Mom’s, since this location must be at least triple the size, and has a general store AND wine shop attached to boot! Walked away with a Virginia Blackberry and Shenandoah Peach pie to share with my colleagues at our annual Regional Summit — had to bring ‘em a little bit of Virginia! The pies are delicious, not too sweet, and have the best crust. Mmmm. The prices are also better than those of The Pie Gourmet in Vienna, I believe, and if pie’s not your thing, don’t worry. They carry a ton of other goodies and treats. I got a chocolate chip cookie for the road and it was delicious — just like mom makes ‘em! If my visit hadn’t been right after the snowstorm(thus it was a bit treacherous to walk around Occaquan), I would’ve loved hanging around on the big front porch and enjoying a slice right then and there. But not to worry, I’m sure I’ll be back!
