Went this past Sunday and they were ‘busy’ for it being off season. Host told us to sit anywhere we liked, so we chose a table by the window. Menu has a good selection even though it’s not massive. I ordered the single guy omelet(steak, cheese, onions, and peppers) and the bf got the salmon and brie omelet. Our server is nice and prompt. Got the order correct. While waiting for food, he brought out their homemade monkey bread. It was amazing! So soft and delicious and cinnomony but not overwhelming cinnamon. Our food came out with their homemade white toast. The toast had a small dollop of butter on it, so the toast wasn’t soggy. I think the oven may have been on higher than the kitchen knew because my toast was solid and difficult to eat. Both meals came with their homemade potatoes, which was OK. Overall, good service, decent food for the buck, and nice view. I would come here again, especially during happy hour for their 2 for 1 drink special.

Would have been 5 stars BUT. Ok the food was excellent, one of the best chicken cheesesteak subs we’ve had. Awesome homemade roll and the shoestring fries were great. Our waiter was on top of everything. The bill was 23 and some change and that’s where the issue is. When did it become acceptable for the server(or business) to keep the coin part of the change? Our waiter brought back our change but only the paper not the coins. Yes it was only 30 or so cents but it was not THEIR decision to keep it. Don’t know if we’ll go back and it’s a shame that they may not get our business again over less than 50 cents.

Love this spot! Great staff(all the women are beautiful), Pete the bartender is amazing fans also a big part of the reason why we went back each day! Great breakfast, I had the single guy omelette and then a make your own omelette the next day. Food portions would feed a village haha. Don’t pass this place up! Oh yeah, buy Pete a shot!

I have so many memories from my recent vacation to Ocean City, but this one is a favorite. We woke up around 9 and wanted to do brunch so I whipped out my trusty Unilocal app and found Bad Monkey. I have to admit I was a little deterred by the long wait and crowded(tiny) waiting space. We didn’t have to wait too long though and it was totally worth it. We got seated right at the rail and we were able to look over coastal highway as we dined. It was beautiful, the weather was perfect and the food was great! We didn’t want to purchase a whole order of monkey bread(it was huge) so our waiter brought us out some complimentary pieces. I got chipped beef and my boyfriend got eggy in a basked smothered in chipped beef. The breakfast potatoes were unique in the way that they put red peppers in them so if you don’t like peppers, avoid the potatoes. I was a fan though. I hope I have many more opportunities to revisit Bad Monkey. It was a great experience.

Atmosphere– love the outdoor open area. Very clean, and hip/trendy in an ocean city restaurant. I like how you can sit on a couch while you wait to be seated. Service– great service, our waitress was attentive without being over bearing.(Although I have to say getting charged for extra bread is a little crazy but I’m a New York city girl) Food– crab dip– delicious without being over-salty. I honestly would recommend trying the dip both hot and when it cools off. My table all agreed it was better cold. My two girlfriends had the crab cake sandwich and truffle fries– both of them loved it! I had the Buffalo chicken cheese steak– so good I’m honestly shocked! However I would recommend getting the truffle fries instead of the chips– the truffle fries compliments the Buffalo chicken cheese steak in ways a potato chip couldn’t imagine. Also the punch knocked me off my feet! Happy Hour 2-fers did us right!

This place gets busy for brunch on Saturdays. Food is good, mimosas are good, and service is good.

There was something floating in my water. I complained twice before finally getting a new water. My friend got a whiskey sour and had a dead fly in his glass. He politely asked for a new drink and the bar tender took the fly out of his drink and refused to get him a new drink. Horrible service and dirty place!!! Will never come here again!!!

This place was on the verge of being a one star due to that it took the staff(about 9 of them) several minutes before acknowledging us. I had to ask«is this where we place our order», –being sarcastic. After the initial no greet, the cheese steak was very on point!

This place is solid, for dinner or brunch. Great service, solid food and delicious(and affordable at $ 5 each) mimosas. Love that their eggs are organic, and that their staff is super great about checking with the kitchen if you have allergies. They’re also super family friendly and were great with our 3-month-old. For dinner, get the fish tacos! Fresh fish with a great homemade tartar sauce and just the right amount of slaw. My husband also got the hell burger and loved it. Great find in the often inconsistent OC dining scene!

Busy Saturday around 7pm sat at a 5 top no problem on the outside area. View are nice, wind slightly annoying(hey it’s the beach it’s windy all the time right?). Server was quick and attentive, delivered drinks quickly. Food came out in an acceptable amount of time and the order was spot on. We ordered burgers and sandwiches. The cheesesteak and chicken cheese steak were over flowing, I had the Bulgarian Strongman; get that burger it was amazing! A bacon cheeseburger with cheesy crab dip on top… Didn’t sample any of the spirits but they have a craft beer menu and house speciality drink menu on the table with a full bar selection to complement.

Went here twice, first time had the Jersey burger and it was very good! The truffle oil fries(off the app menu) were also very good. Now the 2nd visit, had a chiicken cheesesteak. Didn’t care for it, was a big disappointment after the burger. The place was also very hot and uncomfortable inside, not sure what was going on but heard a lot of people complaining about it. So if the air is working, stick to the burger!

I have only been here once but will definitely be returning. The atmosphere in the bar area is awesome(breezy due to overhead fans, even on a hot day + good island tunes) and bartenders who worked the bar while we were there rocked. I’m giving four stars because A) I’ve only been once and need to confirm its as good as I think it is; and B) my burger was overcooked … which was quickly rectified with an almost correctly-cooked replacement burger. Medium is not medium rare. The cocktails(bloody mary and Maryland Martini) are great and the truffle fries are to die for. May very well earn the 5th star upon second visit. Going back in August, so we shall see!

Super drunk after secrets and wanted food closer to hotel. Upstairs is really laid back and has a good atmosphere. Elevator smelled like straight shit but we got over it. Got the monkey punch drink and it punched me right in the kisser, really drunk so I got the«here comes the sun» burger and it was delicious. Juicy and they use real cheddar cheese. The best part was the over easy egg on top. Wife got the best fucking fries I’ve ever tasted with truffle oil and Parmesan cheese. Ridiculous how good this place was.

We came here for brunch, it’s nice to see a new breakfast spot in town! The seating area is on the second story so you have some pretty cool views of Coastal Highway. Our server Cassidy was so sweet and chipper so early in the morning, that takes some serious talent! They had a full bar but only offered 2 «adult» drinks with brunch, but their bloody mary’s with bacon and cucumber-infused Tito’s vodka was incredible. The menu was a little small, not too much to choose from, but I ordered the asparagus and brie omelet and it was delicious! They use organic eggs and fresh fruit with their dishes so I was very happy about that. Apparently they are also a burger bar, so I definitely will return to check it out. And you can’t miss this building with the bright vibrant colors!

Delicious burgers. Old bay wings were also good. Had a great seat in the place and overall a pleasant experience. It’s not earth shattering but they unique with the combinations. My friend had prosciutto and a fried egg on her burger. I went cowboy with onion rings and bacon. Not the best one of those but I never complain about glutinous deliciousness.

Ok I am VERY finicky about where I eat so when we came back from the beach famished and we didn’t want to travel to far from our hotel so we wanted something close… the Bad Monkey. I called ahead and the young lady from downstairs section stated that they do not have call ahead service and the wait was 25 – 30 min. We decided to go anyway and wait… again it was the closest thing to our room. We went upstairs and immediately sat at the bar ordered or drinks and food… so if a table isn’t mandatory, consider sitting at the bar and view from the second floor is nice too. The customer service awesome and very handsome. #simplyamazing They serve breakfast too. The freshly baked bread melts in your mouth, I wish I could buy it for my sandwiches at home… yes, that good.

Gave this place another shot and once again they delivered. This time I got the chicken cheesesteak and it was just as good if not better than the original. The happy hour 2 for 1 drink specials are a good deal, and the service was once again on point. Not a lot of space though so families may want to think about getting there before 5:30. The kids meals are well portioned, and the atmosphere is great.

Have not eaten yet and I can already tell this place needs to figure out a few things. The waitress acts like she just showed up for day 1. The menu is weak, several burgers several hot subs and one cold sub. Not much to choose from.

We stumbled on this place simply because a) we were hungry… almost hangry(hungry/angry), and b) the sign outside reading $ 5 Tito’s bloody mary’s really sold us. Upon entering, we were greeted nicely, and being a table of 9, we expected to wait and not sit together… but we were able to get a table after about 15 minutes, AND we were ALL able to sit together(minus one chair, so one of us stood through brunch). The bartender seemed a little overwhelmed and frustrated as I saw him mess up a woman’s brunch order(but he comped it), and get flustered with the amount of drinks he was making. We sat down at a roomy table and ordered some drinks. When the waitress came back with our drinks, she only brought one and then took our drink orders again, almost like she blacked out through out our first order. When we got out check, we found out we were charged $ 5 for some bloody mary’s, and $ 8 for some. We asked the waitress about this, she explained that after 1 they changed prices(from $ 5 to $ 8). We were closing out at 12:30, so this didn’t make sense. She told us that it was the computers fault, and she did adjust them to all $ 5 but I wonder how many people are getting charged $ 8, when they should be $ 5. My 3 stars are for the drinks, and the atmosphere. The food was blahhhhhhhh, and unfortunately lunch wasn’t served until 1. So it was breakfast, not brunch nor lunch. Honestly disappointed we couldn’t get lunch at noon. As for the omelet, the cheese was not laid out evenly throughout it, so splitting it kinda sucked. The potatoes were cold. There were 2 small pieces of fruit on the plate. And the waitress promised us Monkey Bread because it was the best, and she came back with 5 pieces for 9 of us because they were all out. Booooo hisssss.
