Five star for Stromboli. Subs and cheesteak are average — the bread just isn’t that good for the price you pay even for the boardwalk prices. I didn’t have the pie but it looked good, if little smaller slices than others in the area. But pepperoni Stromboli is quite a different deal here and I was very impressed — the size is enough for 2 people. I will be back to have more.

Great pizza– just like Mack & Manco’s but not as expensive. Very friendly staff too!

My husband and I ate here for the first time this past weekend. We both got steak sandwich hoagie. His with cheese mine without. They were both excellent. We order chicken fingers with waffle fries for my son and the chicken fingers were great as well. The place was not very busy as it is off season and it was raining all day that day. The owner was very nice and double checked on us, making sure everything was good. We will be going back for cheesesteaks.

have eaten here a few times and i just want to add that i felt ripped off the last time with the cheesesteaks(we had several). some kid was making them and they had next to nothing in them. Tony P knows what he’s doing, so he needs to keep an eye on that. still 5 stars because of where its at and how easy it is on the boardwalk to be subpar. this place is really good. to the shoo… err reviewer who decided to crush the place on ONESLICEOFREHEATEDPIZZA in favor of Manco… that’s insane. the other reviews here are factual. your experience was obviously an anomaly. just tell the counter that your slice sucked and have them make you something satisfactory.

I so wanted to love this place as another option to Three Brothers and a fellow Unilocalee friends really good review but … Just okay — most disappointing was the crust and dough overall. The pizza itself was pretty good but not Three Brothers wow delicious! The restaurant was a really nice size and clean but a bit pricey. Service was quick and friendly too. I love and enjoy pizza so much — I won’t be returning for this just pretty good our sorry.

Don’t be hating on us pizza snobs. We keep things real, and hopefully raise the bar on all pizza joints we review. That being said, I will also admit that I’m inexperienced on what is being served in this area when it comes to NJ’s state food of choice. We found ourselves in OC on a weekend that had potentially bad weather. My gf is a regular on this boardwalk and her favorite place was not open, so after much deliberation we decided to try this spot. The employees were welcoming and the space was large and clean, but sadly very empty due to weather forecasts. From the small menu we settled on a half white with shrooms and half pepperoni. The pie came out fairly quickly and looked appetizing. The bottom crust was nicely browned and almost held up when lifted. But the folding technique was needed to deliver said slice to the mouth. The white also needed this maneuver, probably due to the cheese. The shrooms were ok, not really seasoned and I’m not certain that fresh ones were used. I would not order this again. We both agreed the pepperoni was slightly better, and I was happy that the topping was halved so as to better blend the flavors. The red sauce was ok, not what I would call Trenton worthy though. I was surprised at the cost, with only one small soda the bill came in at $ 26. This seemed very high to me, possibly boardwalk prices? I would advise potential customers to try one slice first to see if you enjoy this style of pizza. As for me, I’ll skip this place, and possibly this genre in the future. 3.25 Unilocal

My choice pizza on the boards is Mack and Manco by far. I decided to try a slice at Tony’s because of the Unilocal reviews. Bad choice. The service was very nice. I had a slice at the counter. My slice came out half baked, the middle was cold and rubbery. This doomed the pizza from the start! Otherwise the crust had good integrity and the cheese to sauce ratio was perfect… it just had no flavor! At all! I doused the piece in oregano and crush red pepper. Overall this was a waste of stomach space! Will be sticking with Mac and Mancos!

My wife and I tried Tony P’s this weekend and we were pleasantly surprised. We had the Tony’s special which is unlike any pizza we have had in OC «finally something different» and we absolutely loved it. Be aware if you try the special it is spicy but also has a sweet flavor. Employees were friendly, clean facilities. All in all a great experience and a new pie on my favorites list!

My daughter convinced my wife, an OCHS alum(before it move across the street), to try Tony P’s and yes the pizza is as good if not better than a a well known pizza chain that changed its name a few years ago. Plus it offers a dining room that is not 200 degrees and this great innovation called restrooms, for it’s customers. Take a blind taste test & you won’t know the difference… try the Tony P’s slices too, they are incredible! Even if you grew up on the«other», give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed!

The Tony’s special pie was insanely good. Such a crazy combination of flavors that only someone who really understands food would come up with. It all worked so well. I’ve been coming to OC with my family all 22 years of my life and have been a religious Mac(Manco) and Manco family but I’m probably converting.

Wow. Where do we start with this one. Pizza on the boards. While a huge tradition for so many, there are as we all know pizza places everywhere. So why add another? Enter Tony P’s House of Pie. Fresh ideas. Fresh ingredients. Tangy sauce. Great staff and plenty on hand to take care of everyone quickly and efficiently. So. The pizza. Sauce and ingredients mentioned above. Fresh and tasty. We had an original cheese pie and a buffalo chicken pie. Good kick on the buffalo chicken but not too hot. The regular cheese pizza had plenty of cheese, as mentioned above a tangy flavorful sauce and both had a flavorful and perfect thickness crust. And BIG too. Plenty for all of us. Next time in we will definitely try the California. That looks to die for. Skip the other same olé pizza places next time, head for Tony P’s!

The pizza and fried ravioli are great, but their cheese steaks good god are awesome. Best rolls in Ocean City. Their chicken finger platter portions were very generous. Their curbside service is the best. Great staff and good people.

I have nothing bad to say about this pizza joint. I am(I mean was) a huge fan of Manco and Manco Pizza. I have had a summer home in OC since I was in 2nd grade(39 yrs old now) and I like the thin, crispy pizza. However over the years the arrogance and attitude of my former favorite place has left me angry that I have to go there for decent pizza on the OC boards… I finally got a chance to try this new place over the holiday weekend and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I only had walk up, 2 slices, $ 2.50 each(average for the boards). The pizza was on par with Manco and Manco’s(I only had the plain) and I encourage others to try it themselves… If you like Manco and Manco’s, try this joint. I noticed they had the same rotating pizza oven that Manco’s uses, and I am telling you, it was good. Whole pie is $ 17($ 2 cheaper than Manco’s). Service was one at a time at the walk up counter… That could/should change, but whatever… I was happy and I hope they do well. This place takes the spot of the Botto’s Sausage location that was there for a year or two(maybe 3?). Great pizza addition to the OC boards. They just need to get rid of all the other sub-par joints and we’ll be ok!

I’m not a big fan of pizza in general, but my friends are, and was happy to find other things on this menu. I got their Italian sub! Wow! Best I’ve had! Just the right size and they make their own rolls… The roll, can’t get it off my mind. Then… My friends pizza, the ‘Tony P’, I’m now a fan of pizza! The place itself is clean, open, not congested like most the other eateries on the boards. I will take all my quest to Tony P’s House of Pie!

Best pies on the boardwalk! Excellent service very personable. The person who gave the bad review needs to come back! WOW! Pizza was delicious and the special avocado personal pizza was mouthwatering. I can’t wait to go back! Restaurant was spotless and everyone was friendly. I’m stuffed!

Just ok. We waited 10 minutes for service when there was absolutely no one but employees in the restaurant. Several staff noticed us waiting but NOONE bothered to take our order until we started to walk away in disgust. The actual pizza was mediocre at best. There’s certainly better on the boards. Better service AND pizza else where.
