One of our favorites every year when we come to OIB. Pizza, seafood and pasta are all good! Always friendly servers and have even had the chef come out to talk in past visits.

We have been coming down to Ocean Isle for 20 years now and have eaten at a plethora of places. Every year we go back to Roberto’s because the food is always fresh, local, and most of all delicious. The chef Dave truly cares about his business and it reflects in everything from the staff to the food. He was so nice to come out and talk to his customers. You can never go wrong with this place. I’d recommend it 10 out of 10 times.

We enjoyed dinner here last Wednesday while on vacation to OIB. It was a date night for us. We started with the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer and it was fantastic. She enjoyed the Shrimp and Scallop Tuscany and I had the Chicken Piccata. The service was great, the wine tasty, and the food prepared and served promptly. We made our reservation via the Unilocal app and it worked perfectly! If you’re in the area, give this place a try, I think you will come away very satisfied!

We came in on a Saturday – I had the Thai salmon and my partner had two orders of ravioli(ravioli plate only had four raviolis). We also had mozzarella sticks which were also good. Great service.

Some of the best pizza I have ever had. We had the meat lovers and a chicken and spinach pizza with Alfredo sauce. Excellent!!! Amazing crust and the sauce on the meat pizza reminded me of a Chicago style pizza. Looking forward to trying many other dishes on the menu… But it will be hard not to get the pizza again!

The food was great. I had the Thai salmon. My wife had the shrimp and grits which were a special. Both dishes were great! Other members of our party had crab cakes and stated they were some of the best they’d ever had.

What a great meal I had during my vacation in Ocean Isle. Being from a strong Italian background, I felt at home. The food was great and had great drink pairings. I will definitely be visiting again when heading back down South.

Everything was great. We were seated immediately. Food was great. The Panko crusted haddock is one of the best meals we have had anywhere. The two of us that had shrimp and crabcake commented on how good they were. Our server was excellent and the busser had the best personality I have ever encountered.

The food was great –I had the grilled shrimp and crab cake. The menu said The shrimp were jumbo, but they seemed average size to me. I picked this restaurant because I wanted to try their scallops, but the waitress told me they had just ran out 20 minutes ago. I asked her and her manager if I could substitute the haddock for the scallops but they said no. That the reason I only give this restaurant 2 stars.

Went to dinner on 10÷17÷17 a Friday evening at 6:30. We were greeted friendly and seated quickly. Passing by the open view kitchen the chef stretching dough also gave us a greeting and head nod. Our waitress Milena was pleasant and efficient the entire evening. We all ordered drinks and they were served with a large basket of garlic bread(that was very good) and our orders were taken. The food came out quickly and all four of us were very impressed with our meals. They were all hot and delicious and the service size was more than generous. Milena kept our drinks filled, checked on us a couple of times during the meal and also refilled the bread basket without being asked. I had the seafood platter with grilled sea scallops, shrimp and a large crab cake for $ 22.99. It is served with a side of penne with meat sauce, sautéed vegetables and both cocktail and remoulade sauces. Everything was cooked perfectly and the meat sauce was delicious. My wife had the shrimp and crab cake which also included the same sides as mine for $ 17.99. She also said that her entire meal was perfectly cooked and was more than she could eat. Our total with two soft drinks was $ 44.76 and it was worth every penny. Our two friends both had the breaded chicken parmigiana. The serving size was again large, came with your choice of house or Caesar salad and both said it was probably the best they had ever eaten. We will definitely be back this coming summer during our vacation.

Yum! I ate here for the first time yesterday. We ordered the veggie pizza — it was great! Cheesy and full of flavor. Our waitress was very attentive to our group of 11. We will definitely return!

I ordered an alcoholic beverage that I did NOT enjoy and asked the older waitress with gauges VERYKINDLY to have it taken off my check and she rudely denied and made me pay for it anyways. even though I only took two small sips, it was also my brothers birthday and we called ahead and reserved a birthday cake that was not even brought to the table… and the pasta was terrible. Oh and by the way…18% gratuity was added, but there were only 4adults and two kids… I have worked in the service industry for 6 years so IKNOW exactly how this stuff works… we come to this restaurant every year when on vacation and my whole family was so dissatisfied with everything… definitely not going back… and to the rude waitress, I hope karma comes back and bites you in the butt…

The food is mostly average. The food preparation is exceptionally slow and bar service is beyond slow. The service is primarily hit or miss. Some servers try and the old pros don’t care. We eat here as a convenience. The restaurant is near our house. The restaurant does offer a good pizza.

«I wish I was in an Olive Garden». I never thought that would ever cross my mind. Sitting in Roberto’s, staring at the mess of food they were trying to pass off as chicken alfredo, I actually started to long for the menu of a chain Italian restaurant. Where to begin? My chicken alfredo tasted like it came out of the freezer, the chicken was rubbery, the sauce was bland and flat and the noodles were mushy. My son’s «macaroni and cheese» was a pile of the same soggy ass noodles i had, drowned in that same shitty alfredo sauce. Even the garlic bread was nasty. How can you mess up garlic bread!?? If you want to go to Roberto’s just make it easy on yourself; Get a frozen dinner from the grocery store and light a $ 20 bill on fire. You’ll get the same experience as Roberto’s without having to wait for the check.

32 people invaded and took over a small local Italian restaurant in Ocean Isle Beach. That sums up the nature of my visit. I was part of a big group visiting the beach on St Paddy’s weekend for our friend’s birthday. She picked this restaurant because of the price point($ 13 and up for entrée) and the variety of food(pizza, steak, seafood, pasta, salad). It worked well for our occasion. When we arrived our tables were not ready. They in fact blocked out the entire bar seating section for us(a very smart move on their part, since we are kind of loud, and sometimes can say inappropriate things that won’t sit well with the family crowd). That means we had to wait at the bar… another genius move for them, because we sure like our potions. For as big of our group, I gave an extra star for the service. It was efficient and could have gone way worse if the waitresses weren’t working so hard. And the chef/owner came out personally greeted the birthday girl and even offered her a bottle of bubbles. The food was better than expected. After all I wasn’t having high hope for the only Italian joint in a beach town. The best surprise was their crab soup. It was like she crab soup, very flavorful. The cheese sticks were the frozen ones, but they were fried well. The 3 of us shared the Italian tour and a chicken parm and still couldn’t finish our plates. The portion was generous. Overall the food was solid, though may not be anything super special. But it’s a nice alternative to the typical beach cuisine.

Great Italian favorite in Ocean Isle Beach that attracts a lot of locals. They recently finished some exterior work and the building looks brand new. The staff is friendly and attentive, particularly Kenny the bartender. Your best bets are spaghetti, pizza or seafood pasta. The Mussels Olio is a great lighter choice, and the restaurant makes its own dressings. You might have to wait for a table and your food in the summer, but they generally do a decent job of pumping people through without rushing your meal. The bar gets pretty lively, especially on Wednesday nights, and they offer some good draft and bottled beer, wine and standard liquor.
