The BEST Bagel shop around!!! I look forward to the friendly atmosphere and delicious food in between a busy work day. The owners are so kind and friendly, I feel like I’m going «home» for breakfast when I’m there :-)

101 Bagels and Subs is a little restaurant located just south of the corner of Coast Hwy and Civic Center Dr. It is next to Mary’s Family Restaurant.
I ordered the chocolate chip bagel with cream cheese and it was perfect! The cream cheese just melted in your mouth. The egg, cheese, and sausage bagel was also amazing. The sausage was cooked to perfection! The bagel selection had a variety of different bagels and cream cheese!
Definitely coming back!!!

There used to be only one bagel place on my list. Now there are two, and thank God because 101 Bagels is much closer to me. The service is excellent, the selection is broad, and the quality of food is on par with Einstein Bros. I highly suggest eating here to relax and enjoy some downtime. They even have fruity pebble rice crispy treats!

I love this place! They have great food and are very friendly. They also deliver so you can order online. The first few times they delivered within 20 – 30 minutes but the last time we ordered online it didn’t arrive for a whole hour but the guy apologized and explained that they were swamped so I understood. Would recommend anyone in the area to check out this spot it’s right off coast hwy close to the beach in downtown area. They have freshly squeezed orange juice which is very refreshing.

Really fresh and delicious bagels! The flavored cream cheeses could have a little more flavor. Definitely try the fresh OJ!

I was up in Oceanside for work and wanted to grab a quick bite. I found this place on Unilocal and thought I would give it a try. The gentleman working the counter was so friendly and my turkey bacon avocado sandwich on a bagel was awesome. High quality ingredients! I really enjoyed my lunch and will be going back next time I’m in the area. Very good for a quick bite!

Man… the breakfast bagels are delicious here! If you haven’t been here yet, you have to try it! They make their own bagels on site. My tummy is happy!

Pretty good spot for brunch. Little pricey but you’re paying for the convenience of being by the beach. Plus if you order a sandwich it’s loaded with meat. They are definitely not stingy with meat at all.

After a lot more visits and experimenting with other menu items, I still love this place! Veggie bagel on spinach parmesan bagel is delicious.
They’ve definitely improved the dining area. It’s a lot less cluttered. (Except for the kombucha on tap– that’s gotta go, man!) It’s a lot more busy on weekends, which we’re happy to see. Again, their menu could use a little work; I’d love to see them experiment w/​fun recipes and invest in better coffee to really stand out.
Customer service is still on point. The owner and his wife are so accommodating. Both really go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect.

We had a little craving for bagels and came upon this place while in the area. It is located on a main road with street parking close by. There are indoor and outdoor seating. The employees were friendly and provided great customer service. Prices seemed very reasonable.
We decided to order two different bagel sandwiches — the Nova on an 8-​Grain bagel and the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on an Everything bagel. The Nova had cream cheese, tomatoes, onions, lox, and capers. There was really nothing special about the bagel or the sandwich. The Bacon, Egg, and Cheese didn’t have much of a taste at all. We thought that you couldn’t go wrong with bacon, but we could barely even taste it. We kept biting into the sandwiches hoping they’d get better. But, they were just straight bland. The bagel sandwiches each came with a pickle slice which, sadly, seemed to be the most flavorful item we had.
Overall, the bagel sandwiches were just OK. We really wanted to like this place. Maybe we just got a bad set of sandwiches?

101 Bagels is easily my favorite place to eat in Oceanside. My husband and I come every Saturday for bagels and never leave hungry. The owners are so sweet and personable. Today was our wedding day, and their daughter wrote such a precious message on our bag. I recommend this place to absolutely everyone. 100% in love with them.

Can we just talk about this for a second? I like bagels. I grew up on the east coast so I feel like I’m sort of a bagel snob and I have to say this place is amazing. I’ve come here nearly every single day since I found it. Their turkey bacon avocado with fresh sprouts and tomato is unbelievable. Not to mention just a plain with cream cheese. They have fresh squeezed orange juice, their breakfast bagels are cheap and delicious, and the service is quick, clean, and kind. Can’t beat this place. Anyone who says otherwise can go back to Einstein’s and feel smart spending twenty bucks on less than average carbs with fermented lunch meat. I’ll be happily enjoying a delicious fresh bagel in the meantime.

Let me start off by saying that I have never been a huge bagel fan, but I was hungry and wanted something different. Searched what was nearby and began my march to 101 Bagels&subs! Nice place very clean with a MOM&POP feel to it, selection of bagels and subs with a full menu to select from.
Ended up going with the turkey, bacon, and cheese on a «combo» bagel suggested by the nice young lady behind the counter. Ate it on the go and was satisfied with every bite! A lot of flavor in the combo bagel, combined with the turkey, bacon, and pepper jack cheese. Quality of all the ingredients were really good and the amount of turkey and bacon was great! Very surprised the total only came up to $ 4.99 good meal for a great price!

The serve freshest bagels! They’re soft and chewy just the way I like it! It’s a cozy bagel shop that’s toasty and warm. They serve delicious coffee, too! This is the place to go when you’re craving a bagel! They also have Internet. Yeah! Enjoy!

We came here for lunch and were delighted by our bagel sandwiches. My hubby had a Nova (Lox) on onion and I had a tuna on an everything bagel. It hit the spot! It’s a family owned business and the owners take great care of you! We even enjoyed our bagels on the patio with music playing lightly in the background. Clean and friendly and great prices too!

Every time I come here, I get the Nova salmon sandwich on an everything bagel. It’s stacked with salmon, cream cheese, tomato and onion. It’s a savory choice for breakfast or lunch!
I wash it all down with the fresh orange juice they make here.
Service is friendly and fast. Whenever I’m on my way to work and need a quick bite before going in, I swing by here for my salmon bagel fix.
